With the end of the Time War and one young human woman's fate beginning to intertwine with an eccentric alien lifeform that travels in space and time, no one knew that another tale would begin. It would all change one darknight...

At exactly midnight on January 1st, 2000, a baby boy was born in London. This little boy appeared very normal and healthy to the attending doctors, yet the only thing that was off about this child was his eyes.

They held a certain light within them that was both primordial and slightly unsettling. It had felt like a force beyond human reasoning was looking at you and through you. It shocked some of the doctors, yet scarce few others felt a deep sense of reverence towards the child.

His mother and father met him for the first time in the operating room. They were both starstruck from the sweet infant they gave birth to, but unlike the doctors around them, they were not affected by his aura nor the gaze in their baby's eyes. All they held towards him was a deep sense of love and familial attachment to their angelic child.

His father, named Jason Jackson (or JJ), was a rich second-generation heir to a Fortune 500 company. Besides being an heir to his father's legacy, he also was one of the top shareholders of the Unified Intelligence Taskforce (aka UNIT). It wasn't revealed to the child at the time of his birth nor until some time in the future that one main reason that UNIT did not get their hands on him was because of his father.

As for his mother, named Lois Stryker, she too had her own business empire to run. She had been a self-made woman and made her fortune by running a massive tech company that rivaled Luke Rattigan. From her company, she kept her eyes peeled for talent that had good character. This did not include the aforementioned Luke Rattigan as she did see him as a troubled spoiled child genius.

When the baby was born, this marked the start of his life. It also created a true fixed point in time where he would always be born regardless of the Doctor or any time travelers' mucking about with history. This was obviously due to the baby's special connection with the wider multiverse because of the Essence of Anima.

Yes, this baby boy—named Luke Stryker—is our protagonist.

Within moments of being born, Luke activated his new System UI (or User Interface) with a mere thought. From what he learned of the System during the time he was in the womb, it was a Rank-6 System called the [Anima Avatar System] and that it was part of his free boon to travel into the Whoniverse. This was implemented into his soul while within the Abyssal Sea and even had a helpful guide AI to help him navigate its complex functions called "Michael".

Michael was the first friend Luke made in the Whoniverse and, despite being only a System AI, he already held Luke in his core as a close brother. He had even explained to Luke in the womb that there are far more powerful Systems than himself—such as the one that sent him here—and they could do a lot more than he could. This made him somewhat concerned for more transmigrators into this version of the Whoniverse, but Michael assured him that there were no others in this timeline aside from himself.

With that, he relaxed in his mother's womb.

After a day or two in the hospital's nursery to recover and his mom to be left in her bed, both parents took Luke home. Unlike in most countries, he got to live in a renovated castle a bit beyond London. This would be his home for the foreseeable future.

On the trip home, he got to witness the English landscape for the first time. Luke was stunned by the beauty of it all and really hoped to see the Celtic tribes or even witness King Arthur become King of England, but despite knowing there was a type of Anima that allowed him to manipulate time, he also knew that it wouldn't be necessary.

Michael told him that, in his inventory, lay a wallet with a coin that gives him endless currency within any era along with other items of importance. It also contained his important identification papers, basic clothes from the modern (21st) century, and a gaming laptop. When Luke looked over the wallet specifically, he noticed that the wallet had a curse of Binding over it.

From his past life, he knew that this enchantment was from the game Minecraft. That curse made it so that anyone in any other game mode than Creative couldn't remove the item from their character and was used to enchant armor pieces specifically.

He never liked that enchantment when it was used against him in the company's private server. Especially on a carved pumpkin.

For the next five years, he remained a good kid to both of his parents. He enjoyed the classic trope of overbearing mother and goofy carrying dad while they were at home because their "business profiles" were scary to him—though not as much as the Abyssal Sea. He noticed through the skill of Observe that his body was affected from the way his soul was affected. Even in his status, it showed that his physical stats were reduced by half at all times.

This meant that he grew up with a frail body. Healthy, but frail.

At the age of four, both Jason and Lois noticed that their son had a frail body. He didn't grow up strong like his peers in kindergarten and had some trouble with walking too far. Despite getting sufficient nutrients for his body to grow, the way his soul was affected meant he couldn't grow up strong. Michael told him just before his fifth birthday that due to the toxic sickness his soul endured while awaiting reincarnation, all physical stats were limited to 100 each and could not be raised further.

It did make him feel sad that he couldn't go past 100 in any of his physical stats and that all his bodies would be affected with this frailty. However, Michael did remind him that most human adults only have a strength value of 10. This ended up making him smile happily just as his fifth birthday came.

Now, with both his parents traveling through the city, Michael informed Luke that the events of Rose was soon to begin.

"So," Michael said to Luke in a somewhat serious brotherly tone, "gonna get involved with them at the start or wait a bit before getting involved? You do have the choice to avoid the Ninth Doctor entirely and start with the Tenth on Christmas."

"Nah," Luke responded back to Michael mentally, "I didn't think much of the actor for the Ninth Doctor, but I did like a few things. I might get involved with them when Bad Wolf starts to show up then the Sycorax on Christmas."

With that, Luke enjoyed more time with his parents before getting involved with the Doctor.
