"Unit one, do you have eyes on the target?"
"Unit two, are you in position to attack?"
"Unit three, do you have the escape route secured?"
Only when I finished checking with each of the groups of undead that I created did I finally give the order.
"Unit two, send the distraction."
As soon as I gave this order, there were explosions that rang out.
These explosions came from the fireballs that rained down around the hut that was the target.
The moment that these explosions appeared, there were undead that came out of the ground all around the hut. It seemed that they had been planted there from the beginning and were reacting to the explosions.
The problem was that these explosions were so strong that even these undead couldn't reform.
The bones of the skeletons had been burnt to ashes while the flesh of the zombies were completely melted away.
"What is going on?"
Voices filled with shock came from inside of the hut, but there really wasn't anything that they could do when they were surrounded by the flames left by the explosions. It was to the point where it was like a no man's land around the hut as it was surrounded by flames.
There were more undead that tried to come out of the hut, but it really didn't seem like they were able to do anything against these flames. The flames were just too strong for these normal undead to deal with.
So in the end, there were four large masses that came out.
These large masses were burned by the flames, but it seemed like there was just too much to burn away completely. The large mass of flesh was enough to block the flames from harming them too much.
"So they did have golems. This was all expected, so let's send them in." I muttered when I saw these masses of flesh come out before giving an order.
There were skeletons with bone swords and bone armour that went forward.
The masses of flesh that were the golems reacted when they saw these skeletal knights come forward, but the problem was that they just weren't able to keep up with them at all. The skeletal knights were much smaller and much faster than the golems that the golems weren't able to keep up.
By the time that they reacted, the bone swords of the skeletal knights were already on them.
Based on how they acted, it seemed like the golems were planning on using their strong bodies to tank these attacks so that they could fight back.
What they didn't expect was that the bone swords cut through their flesh like a hot knife through butter. Their bodies just couldn't offer any resistance at all as they were cut to pieces by the bone swords of the skeletons.
When it was over, the golems were on the ground in pieces.
At the same time, there were fireballs that landed where the pieces of the golems were left behind which burnt them away.
Just like that, the four golems were all taken care of.
There were more undead that came out of the hut, but there really wasn't anything that they could do in the face of the skeletal knights. Even the golems were cut apart without any resistance, so there really wasn't anything that these normal undead could do.
When it was over, the hut itself fell apart to reveal the ones that were inside.
There were five cloaked figures just like the ones that had captured me.
They were looking at the skeletal knights with looks of fear and confusion.
After all, they had no idea where these terrifying undead came from.
One moment, they had been minding their own business. The next, there were these terrifying fireballs and these terrifying skeletal knights that suddenly attacked them.
There really wasn't anything that these cloaked figures could do since all of their weapons had been destroyed and they were surrounded. It seemed that if they did anything, they would be cut down at any moment.
So the only thing that they could do was raise their hands as if they were surrendering.
After that, the skeletal knights came forward to stand around them and raise their swords to their necks as if they were prepared to cut them down at any moment.
That was when I finally walked out.
"Who are you?" One of the cloaked figures asked as soon as they saw me.
After restraining them, I had the skeletal knights take off their hoods. That revealed that this group of cloaked figures was a group of young people.
They were a group of teenagers that seemed like they should be in school rather than dabbling in necromancy like this.
But I could also see the corpses that were on the side.
It was clear what they were doing here and what they had been planning to do with the corpses.
"Why did you do this?" I asked in a calm voice.
The cloaked figures were caught off guard by this and they looked at me with a confused look on their faces, but they couldn't figure anything out since I had gotten a cloak of my own to cover myself.
Eventually, one of them said, "What do you mean? Why are you attacking us?"
I didn't waste any time pointing at this person.
The skeletal knight that had been on the side suddenly lowered its sword and cut off one of his fingers.
"Ah!" This person screamed in pain when his finger was cut off, but he quickly restrained himself when he felt the sword that was placed back at his neck.
This time, there were looks of fear that appeared in the eyes of these teens.
It really seemed like I was the bad guy in this situation, well if not for the pile of corpses in the corner.
Once again I asked, "Why did you do this?"
"Is it wrong?" One of them suddenly asked this question back to me.
