Nina barely had time to hang up her coat before the instructor rushed over to greet her, his eyes wide with relief.
"You came back!"
He exclaimed, clapping his hands together with too much energy.
"I was worried yesterday's experience might've scared you off. How are you feeling today? Excited? Nervous? Both?"
Nina instinctively took a step back, overwhelmed by the sudden attention.
"Calm down. You're a little overwhelming right now.""
She said quickly, lifting a hand.
The instructor froze mid-step and then chuckled awkwardly, backing off a few paces.
"Of course! Sorry, sorry. I just… it's not often we get new students who come back for day two."
He tried to play it cool, but Nina caught the faint flush rising to his cheeks and the way he kept glancing at her like he couldn't believe she was still here.
She narrowed her eyes slightly, unsure of what she was stepping into.
Sliding into her seat, she muttered to her Patron.
'Is he always like this?]
