Nina had barely made it five steps toward her room when Luna's voice drifted lazily across the apartment.
"So, what do you plan to do next?"
She said.
Nina paused.
There wasn't any particular tone to the question—no judgment, no concern—just a simple inquiry, like Luna was asking what they'd have for dinner.
"I don't have a plan."
Nina admitted.
She looked over her shoulder at both of them. Leo sat unmoving, arms folded across his chest, and Luna twirled a thin spoon in a bowl filled with translucent ingredients.
Neither of them said anything.
Then they both sighed.
Not at the same time, not loudly—but it was enough.
"…Seriously? You two make it sound like I say that all the time."
Nina muttered, eyebrows twitching.
Luna blinked innocently.
"Because you do."
Nina scowled.
"It's rude to expect someone to have everything figured out."
"We didn't expect that. We expected you not to have a plan."
Leo said.
