Hello everyone, this story is about a group that is going to experience the same story as our adventurers. This story helps to better understand season 3. So you can skip this chapter and read it later.
"Maggy, are you sure this is going to work?" Kai looks at Maggy in fear. Maggy is covered in blood. She lets herself fall against the wall and takes a deep breath. "This isn't going to work, but that doesn't matter. Maggy closes her eyes and starts to cry. "If I can see Alice again, that's enough." Then, a large shadow appears from behind. A monster, as tall as a human, with a very thin body. Completely black, with a sewn-shut face. The face suddenly bursts open, revealing a long tongue covered in sharp spikes. "Run!" Maggy shouts. Kai runs as fast as he can and sees Maggy in the distance. The monster's tongue wraps around her, slowly squeezing tighter. Kai runs on, tears streaming down his face. How will he ever explain this at home?
One week later.
Melody is telling a long story. They are living in a circus tent because there isn't enough room in the apartments. This was their home base. Sometimes they had to leave to find food and supplies, but luckily, everyone had a skill.
"What have you done?!" Mathijs looks at Kai angrily. Kai cowers behind Melody, who is still talking. "I broke the kettle,"Kai says, his voice trembling. He knows that things are precious—especially electrical devices. Mathijs picks up a computer mouse and tries to throw it at Kai's head. But instead of hitting Kai, it hits Melody's head. She continues talking for a few seconds, then looks confused at Mathijs. "Did I do something?"
"Nothing," Mathijs sighs. Then, the tent door bursts open with excited cheers. "I've got a new resident for you!"
Zoey is a girl with long brown braids, dark skin, and an enthusiastic voice. She wears circus clothes and has a cheerful expression. "This is Lilly," she says, pointing her baton toward the girl. Lilly is blonde and wears oversized sunglasses and an overly flashy evening gown. She carries a suitcase, with pieces of fabric sticking out from the openings—a massive sewing kit. One thing is certain—whether this will turn out well or not, nobody is sure.
