In a flash, Kaito reappeared in front of the testing device with another use of Body Flicker.
This move instantly stunned everyone in the testing area. Just that one burst of speed was enough to make Kaito the center of attention. Even the examiner's eyes widened in shock.
"This speed? Is that Soru?? Where did he learn it from?"
The examiner was astonished. That instantaneous movement Kaito had just used looked way too similar to Soru, one of the Navy's Six Powers.
"May I begin?"
Ignoring the commotion around him, Kaito calmly asked the examiner.
"Ah, yes, go ahead when you're ready, Uchiha Kaito."
Receiving the signal to start, Kaito closed his eyes.
Power Level is essentially tied to one's physical strength. And in order to maximize that strength, Kaito was preparing to use the Sage Mode he had learned in the Naruto world.
Kaito's Sage Mode came from Ryūchi Cave. While staying outside of Konohagakure, he had been with Orochimaru the entire time. Following his guidance, Kaito ventured to Ryūchi Cave and mastered the Sage Mode there. On top of that, he had made his own breakthrough, beginning to evolve it in the direction of the Dragon.
Under Sage Mode, Kaito's physical strength and sensory perception were greatly enhanced. Even the power of his Ninjutsu and Rinnegan techniques would increase severalfold.
When he opened his eyes again, a soft purple eyeshadow appeared on his face, making the purple Rinnegan look even deeper and more profound. His entire aura had transformed dramatically, as if he had fused with the natural world around him.
Natural energy surged madly toward Kaito's right hand as he took a stance, charging his power. In a low voice, he chanted:
"Sage Art Fist."
There was no flashy buildup—just what seemed like an ordinary straight punch directed at the testing device.
Boom!
A deafening explosion echoed out as sand and gravel filled the air. The testing device was sent flying from the cloud of dust.
Thud!
The device crashed to the ground. The examiner rushed over to check it. The testing device, forged from Seastone, was now covered in dense cracks. Thankfully, the display screen had remained intact due to Kaito's conscious effort to protect it.
Glancing at the number displayed on the screen, the examiner froze in place. After a long moment, he trembled as he read out the result.
"7... 7200! Uchiha Kaito's result is 7200!"
The rest of the announcement was practically shouted, and the entire testing area erupted in an uproar.
"7200?? That number... even high-ranking officers probably can't reach that, right?!"
"Did the machine break? How is that even possible?"
"Idiot! Didn't you see the state the testing device's in? That thing's made of Seastone!"
The students who hadn't yet left the testing field were all heatedly discussing Kaito's performance.

Gion, hearing the commotion from outside, thought something urgent had happened and immediately used Soru to rush into the field.
She found the examiner, who was still a bit dazed, and asked him what had happened.
The examiner quickly straightened up when he saw Vice Admiral Gion and explained the situation in detail. Gion listened with disbelief, her eyes snapping toward Kaito, who was still standing in the center of the field.
Kaito had already exited Sage Mode. When he saw Gion enter, he walked up with a smile and said,
"Gion, I didn't let you down. My score turned out pretty well, I think."
You call that pretty well?? Can you not act so modestly like it's no big deal?!
Gion was screaming internally.
Her impression of him had shifted again—he was clearly a master at humblebragging.
Gion looked deeply at Kaito. She knew with a score like this, a lot of people at headquarters were going to be shaken up.
Sure enough, Kaito's score was soon reported to the higher-ups.
In his office, Sengoku was in the middle of another love-hate spat with his old friend Garp when the message from the training camp came in. As he read it, Sengoku froze in his seat, not even reacting when a lovingly flicked "booger of love" landed on him.
Garp gave him a puzzled look, wondering what had made his old friend suddenly zone out.
Then, Sengoku whipped his head around to stare at Garp, scaring him so much he jumped off the sofa. Garp thought Sengoku was about to retaliate for the booger flick, but instead, Sengoku slowly said:
"Uchiha Kaito... scored 7200 in the Power Level test."
"NANI??"
Even the usually easygoing Garp couldn't hold his expression.
His smile vanished as he turned serious.
"Sengoku, this time... you've really brought a monster into the Navy."
Sengoku nodded solemnly in agreement, already wondering how Zephyr would react once he got this news.
