I was standing in the training area while holding a longbow.
I'm now 13 years old, it's been more than a year since I awakened my aura, and I can now use it for a fight .
I drew the string and aimed towards the dummy chest, then I started channeling my aura.
I channeled it through my whole body first, my muscles tightened, my bones hardened and even my blood felt stronger now .
Then I channeled my aura to the bow and the arrow, the limb became more durable, the strength behind the string increased and the arrow became sharper .
But if a normal person looked at me now he won't see any difference .
I was using pure aura, it was invisible to the normal eyes .
I released the string and the arrow flew towards the dummy with insane speed .
*Thud!*
The arrow hit the dummy and went half the way inside its chest which was 15cm before stopping. That was just a wooden arrow. So the result was actually good.
I grinned 'Now for the best part.'
I drew my bow again, but this time I used an affinity aura .
I can now use 2 affinities, they are lighting and space
Space was a rare affinity that was even rarer than divine affinity, and despite having the name 'space' it could also manipulate and create both gravity and radiation in the higher levels .
So I used space to enhance my body and bow, giving them the gravity properties, making them heavier, stronger and glowing with black colour.
Then I used my lightning affinity to enhance the arrow. Veins of purple lightning coiled the arrow, hissing like angry snakes .
*Swish!*
The arrow flew with a high speed, the moment its head touched the dummy—
*BOOM!*
It exploded with a lightning Shockwave that reached the nearby dummies, the dummy got burned completely while the nearby dummies had visible burns and electricity around them .
That was a simple aura technique.
'Let's call it Thunderburst Arrow for now. '
'Now that I can use the aura easily, let's recall all my experiences with it. '
The aura is simply an internal power that you get from your will and mental power , the stronger your will, the stronger your aura and the higher your mental power the higher your aura as well.
The will means you can get a burst of power when you get angry and the same way your aura becomes weaker when you get scared , it's a dual blessed sword .
That was why I could release a bloodlust aura after my family death. That was how Arthur defeated Zephyr later after remembering his family. It depends on emotions.
That means technically, this world has the power of friendship !
The mental power means as long as you weren't exhausted mentally, you could use the aura as much as you want!
That was the true meaning of internal power. It depends completely on you.
So what can aura do ?
First, aura pressure. You can release an invisible pressure like all those cool characters, cool right ?
It's basically a small mental attack to exhaust the weaker enemies mentally. That way, a stronger cultivator could fight many weaker cultivators without being at a big disadvantage.
In the cultivation world the numbers may not always be useful.
Also, you can use some affinities with it, but not all. For example, I can make gravity pressure that makes people feel heavier, but I can't mix my lightning with the pressure.
Though I wasn't sure at first, now that i tried it myself.
'I'm sure my therapist had an affinity related to mind and was able to make some type of calming aura .'
Second,—and the most important— aura enhancement .
The aura can be used to give yourself or an object an enhancement to increase the strength, durability , speed, agility and all.
And if you added your affinity , you will gain another boost that depends on the affinity itself with additional properties—
I walked to the nearest dummy then enhanced my hand with a lightning aura. I pressed it against the dummy's head. The lightning spread over it shocking and burning it .
That was the lightning properties, it's hot and has high voltage, you should also consider that I was lucky enough to get purple lightning like Aria which was the strongest lightning version .
And then there was the lightning additional boosts which were related to things like speed , agility and perception .
Then there is the second affinity I got, it was space !
As I said, Space Is a very rare affinity that's not only related to space and teleportation, but also gravity and radiation.
With it I could teleport to any place that my eyes can see or manipulate my body or objects' weight to make them lighter or heavier, which I called light mode and heavy mode .
The problem was that changing between mods needed much time with my current control, but I could imagine the probabilities, something like jumping high in the sky then falling like a meteor!

There was also the spatial radiation, but I didn't know how to use it yet.
The best part is that the space aura is how iy balance itself, giving you what you need for agility and speed when in light mode and strength and defense in the heavy mode. so the increased weight doesn't crash your body if you use it well .
Unfortunately, there is a small flaw. When you are heavy, the agility and speed boosts are less than even the pure aura, and the same apply with the light mode and enhancements like strength and defense.
The third and last thing was aura techniques.
It was about how you use the enhancements to make different effects.
For example, I can make a lightning arrow explode once it touch anything or focus the lightning on the tip to increase its penetration instead of explosion.
It may look simple, but I spent a whole year to barely master less than 10 techniques that I saw on the guide.
Like the best and hardest space technique I learnt so far.
"Blink! "
I teleported 1 meter away from a dummy. My stomach twitched. I felt like I would vomit any second but I could endure it now. The first time I teleported, I vomited in the same second.
Then I raised my stiletto and enhanced it with my space aura. I moved it forward a little. After 5cm I felt resistance, as if it touched something hidden in the space .
Instantly, I stabbed that point with all my force .
*Crack! *
I looked at the dummy and found a hole in its eye .
"Haa , haa, it's still too hard ! "
What I did was penetrate the space itself, making my attack reach another point in the space, cool right ?
' I will call it dimensional thrust! '
My vision started blurring and my head ringing.
Here comes the first flaw for aura, as I said, it uses your mental power to make aura. But if you overuse it, you will end in a stat where even thinking would be hard.
For example, at my current level, I can use 2 blinks in a row before becoming mentally exhausted.
Fortunately, everytime you break through an aura Tier. You get a permanent boost to your mental power, willpower and whole body !
A tier 5 cultivator won't even need to use his aura to crush me, additionally, with his high willpower. He might not even flinch from getting burned alive.
Then there is the second flaw, it can't be used for magic. I can enhance my arrow to explode with lightning but can't shoot a small lightning bolt .
The third flaw is the cultivation technique. You have to make it yourself. I still haven't figured out what my third affinity is. It's most likely mutant like Aria's lightning or unique like Zephyr's eclipse .
Then comes the last flaw, you need to reach Tier 4 to awaken your trait, and Tier 5 to summon your soul-bound artifact if you got any .
Meanwhile, the Exalted get an easier path, but let's talk about it if I became Exalted myself .
I kept training for a few more hours until the day finally ended .
The next day, I was standing against Zephyr—staring at him while gripping my bow tightly.
It was the time for my first fight as a cultivator.
