Dawn had waited for a while after pushing Lilah down when she was sure Lilah might've lost a lot of blood and probably stopped bleeding before rushing out.
The reason she didn't bother to check was because she couldn't afford to be seen by anyone and suspected of pushing her.
'This time, Lilah. This time, you're done for.' She thought, laughing maniacally and then got her act up, her eyes tearing up and her face filled with horror.
She ran down the stairs, calling out to her father, only to see Lilah, whom she assumed must've already been dead, whole and healthy, in a strange man's arms.
"S-sister Lilah," she called, her body freezing up. "H-how are you here? You... You jumped. I.. I saw you jump."
"What? Lilah, you tried to commit suicide?" Her father asked, dumbfounded but Lilah did not respond.
Lilah bit her lip, her hand clutching the coat of the man who held her. How could Dawn be so shameless till the end?
