After breakfast, Vairagya started waiting for Raj's tiffin.
"Here you go..." Sarangi said, coming over and handing him the tiffin.
"I'll be late today, jaan... don't wait, eat and go to sleep," Vairagya said, stroking her cheek and taking the tiffin with him.
Shikha came from behind and said, "Sarangi, what's all this between you and Mr. Rajvansh?" Her voice was a mix of surprise and a little anger.
"That last night..." Sarangi said softly.
"What last night?" Shikha's heart started pounding fast; she feared all her efforts were going to be ruined.
"Last night he told me that he loves me... and no one else," Sarangi answered with a smile.
"What...?" Shikha was stunned. After all her hard work, here Sarangi and Vairagya's love was blossoming.
"You can't love him, Sarangi..." Shikha whispered almost.
"But why?" Sarangi asked.
"What about Ajit?" Shikha tried to remind her.
"If Mr. Rajvansh didn't love me, I might have even thought for a moment about spending my life with someone else... But if he wants me, then I don't care about anyone else. I'm happy with him..." Sarangi said firmly.
"And your self-respect?" Shikha tried to provoke her.
"When my husband respects me, then all other respect pales before his," Sarangi replied calmly but firmly.
"But today you have to meet Ajit..." Shikha reminded her, her voice full of despair.
"No, I can't betray Mr. Rajvansh... If there's something serious, I will tell him myself..." Sarangi said resolutely, with no crease of doubt on her face now.
Shikha clenched her teeth, realizing all her efforts were failing.
Some time later, Shanti Ji took her along to a kitty party, giving Shikha no chance to act. Sarangi stayed busy with Shanti Ji the whole day while Shikha could only glare.
"Good morning, Raj..." Vairagya said as he entered the cabin, his face calm and smiling.
"Good morning, Vairagya... Sorry, sir..." Rajveer hesitated.
"Here, your lovely sister has sent breakfast," Vairagya offered Rajveer the tiffin.
"Didi sent it?" Rajveer jumped happily.
"By the way, your face looks bright too, what's the matter? Reconciled with your sister?" Rajveer asked smiling.
"You were right, Raj, maybe someone is creating misunderstandings between my jaan and me... My number was blocked on jaan's phone and she didn't even know..." Vairagya said, lost in deep thought.
"This must be Shikha's doing... I told di so many times to stay away from her, but she wouldn't listen," Rajveer said angrily.
"You should kick Shikha out of here, Vairagya," Rajveer said in anger.
"No, Raj, we won't do that..." Vairagya said calmly.
"But why?" Rajveer was surprised.
"Because she's just a pawn, Raj... the real player is Ajit," there was deep thought in Vairagya's eyes.
"After all this punishment, he still hasn't changed," Rajveer gritted his teeth.
"He's like a dog's tail, will never straighten," Vairagya said bitterly.
Vairagya said to Rajveer, "Book tickets for our wedding two days from now... and arrange the rest too..." His voice was excited about his plan.
"How did you find out her favorite destination...?" Rajveer asked.
Vairagya smiled, love shining in his eyes. "What kind of love is it, Raj, if you don't even know your beloved's favorite things?"
Rajveer said, "I love you, Vairagya, you're the best..."
Vairagya took a deep breath and said, "I wish your sister could say that... it would bring peace to my heart."
Vairagya then got back to his work.
Meanwhile, Shikha had gone alone to meet Ajit at his flat.
Ajit opened the door and seeing Shikha, asked impatiently, "What happened? Sarangi didn't come?"
Shikha said angrily, "Vairagya confessed his love, so she will never come now..."
"What...?" Ajit was shocked. "That Vairagya Rajvansh...?" He couldn't believe it.
Hiding her frustration, Shikha said, "Do you see another Vairagya... you fool?"
"What will happen now?" Ajit asked worriedly.
"Now... something very bad will happen... to Sarangi..." Shikha smiled devilishly, a dangerous sparkle in her eyes.
In the evening, when Vairagya announced his honeymoon in front of everyone, Sarangi blushed deeply and lowered her eyes.
Kritika laughed and said, "You turned out to be quite sharp, bhai..."
Shanti Ji smiled, "I can't believe it, this is the same guy who used to run away from marriage... see how he's changed after getting a wife..."
"Yes, remember Mata Shree... how Kavya was scolded and sent away by bhai... the poor girl left crying..." Kritika teased.
"Yes, Meenakshi... he even threw a tray in front of her..." Rudransh also enjoyed the moment.
"That's enough about me... my wife is here, have some respect..." Vairagya said shyly.
Sarvam Ji said, "Why not, bhai... your wife should know what mischief you've done..."
"You know bhai, once..." Kritika was about to say something, but Vairagya interrupted.
"Shopping tomorrow..." Vairagya changed the subject.
"I'll buy five dresses..." Kritika said excitedly.
"I'll get you ten... just keep quiet..." Vairagya said looking at her.
"Why should I keep quiet?" Rudransh said.
"A new bike..." Vairagya tempted him.
"For me...?" Shanti Ji wasn't one to stay behind.
"Fine, I'll let my wife go to the kitty party with you..." Vairagya gave in.
"That's more like it!" Shanti Ji was happy.
Sarvam Ji cleared his throat, and Vairagya teased, "Dad please, not you..."
"Why not? You'll spend a week in the garden with me... you'll talk politely to all my friends..." Sarvam Ji put his condition.
"Dad, your friends are much older than me..." Vairagya made an excuse.
"Okay, listen son..." Sarvam Ji started, but Vairagya gave up.
"Fine, I'll go... now be quiet please!" Vairagya said surrendering, making everyone laugh.
Rajveer and Sarangi didn't understand everything clearly, but seeing everyone happy made them happy too. The atmosphere was filled with love and laughter, and Sarangi felt truly like a part of a big, loving family. Vairagya's changed attitude and the family's affection felt like a dream come true for her.
