Y/N's eyes widened in shock as Jimin stepped forward, his familiar presence somehow both comforting and terrifying. He hadn't been part of this war in so long. The last time they'd seen him, he'd been a casualty of the chaos that surrounded them all. But here he was now, standing between them and Yoongi, an enigmatic smile playing on his lips.
"Jimin?" Y/N whispered, unable to fully comprehend what was happening. "What—what are you doing here?"
Jimin's eyes flicked between her and Jungkook, before settling on Yoongi. There was no hint of surprise or fear in his gaze—just a quiet, unnerving calm. "I didn't expect this to go so far," Jimin said, his voice light, but there was an edge to it. "But I suppose when you play with fire long enough, you'll get burned."
Yoongi stared at Jimin, his expression unreadable. "You've been with them this whole time?"
Jimin gave him a small shrug, his usual playful demeanor gone. "Did you really think I'd just disappear? That I'd let all of this go on without keeping an eye on things? You've made a lot of mistakes, Yoongi. Starting with turning on your friends."
Y/N felt a wave of confusion wash over her. What was happening? Where had Jimin been all this time, and why was he suddenly here, standing against Yoongi, against everything they'd known?
"I've been watching," Jimin continued, his gaze now fixed on Yoongi with something that could almost be called pity. "And I've learned a lot. This whole game... it's bigger than what you've all been fighting for. And it's time to end it."
Yoongi's face hardened. "End it? You think you have the power to stop us, Jimin? You're just as much a pawn as the rest of them."
But Jimin didn't flinch. "No. I'm not a pawn. And I'm not here to save you, Yoongi. I'm here to save them."
