They decided to tackle the wand shopping first, heading to Ollivanders with Sirius in the lead. Sirius's wand had been snapped when he was captured all those years ago, and he was determined to replace it properly.
Inside the shop, the familiar scent of wood and polish filled the air. Harry watched as Sirius examined the display of wands, his expression both thoughtful and a little sad.
Sirius caught Harry's look and smiled faintly. "Lost my old one in… well, let's just say it's gone. Time to get a new one."
Ollivander welcome Sirius like they were old champs, Immediately, he get to work and brought some wands. It was 4th wand that did work for Sirius, He pays for it and turn around looking at children. "Alright, you lot—your wands are practically falling apart."
Molly's eyes widened, and she put a protective hand on Ron's shoulder. "Sirius, that's very kind, but—"
"No 'buts,' Molly." Sirius shook his head, his tone uncharacteristically firm. "Hand-me-down wands can weaken the cores. They don't always work properly for the new owner." He eyed the kids—Ron, Ginny, the twins even Percy—and shook his head. "You've all got magic worth every galleon, and I've got money I don't even want. Let me do this."
Molly's protest died on her lips. She looked at Arthur, who gave her a small, resigned nod. "Alright, Sirius," she said softly.
"Brilliant," Fred and George chimed in, grinning ear to ear.
Tony was mostly quiet which worried Rohedy what was his brother all in blood cooking up with his StarkPad.
With new wands, they left the shop and continued their shopping spree. Halfway through, they found themselves outside Borgin and Burkes. Sirius slowed, staring at the old signboard with a dark look. Harry glanced up at him, puzzled.
"You okay?" Harry asked.
"Yeah," Sirius muttered, though his jaw tightened. "Just… memories."
Tony, meanwhile, was busy gawking at the crowd. Reporters had gathered, cameras at the ready, their flashes going off as they snapped shots of anyone even remotely interesting.
"Damn," Tony muttered, eyeing one of the camera rigs. "They're practically steampunk. Rhodey, you seeing this?"
Rhodey nod. "Man, you'd think a crowd this big means something interesting's happening."
Sirius snorted. "Depends on your definition of interesting." He gestured at the sign in the window. "Gilderoy Lockhart's signing books today."
Hermione's eyes went wide with excitement. "Oh my gosh! I've read all his books!" She turned to Molly, who looked equally starstruck.
"Wouldn't mind getting an autograph," Molly admitted, adjusting her bag.
Sirius rolled his eyes, muttering something about "that prat."
Tony laughed. "Well, let's go see what the fuss is about, then."
They stepped into the shop, and the smell of old books mixed with perfume hit them immediately. Gilderoy Lockhart's face was plastered all over the walls, winking from posters and smiling from stacks of glossy new books.
Sirius ushered Harry and the other kids off toward the shelves. "Go on, get your books"
Harry didn't need telling twice; he and the Weasleys darted away, Hermione hot on their heels, eyes gleaming at the sight of the latest Lockhart titles.
Molly fussed with her hair in front of a small mirror on the wall, excitement radiating off her like a beacon. Arthur had gotten caught up talking to Hermione's parents, who were asking about magical education.
Tony, meanwhile, found himself lingering in the Potions and Rune Theory section. He couldn't explain why, but the runes had a certain… puzzle-box quality that appealed to the engineer in him. He has more of books of them back at his place, He had read them but didn't do anything to perform but that doesn't mean he wasn't interested to know about it.
Rhodey wandered over. "Hey " he drawled, "what voodoo magic are you planning to cook up over here? If you blow up the alley, I'm blaming you."
Tony grinned, flipping through a thick tome with a faded cover. "Hey, come on. Who, me? Blow up a place with a bunch of innocent wizards? I'd never."
Rhodey gave him a flat look. "Uh-huh"
Tony barked a laugh and snapped the book shut. "I'm learning."
Rhodey sighed and shook his head, a smile tugging at his lips. "Just… try not to enchant anything. I'd like to make it through the day without sprouting a tail."
"Hey, no promises," Tony teased. "Besides, I bet I'd look good with a tail."
Rhodey smacked him lightly on the back of the head. "Idiot."
Tony chuckled, and together they wandered back toward the center of the shop, Everyone hasn't came back, He looks at his StarkPad seeing everything is going well, JARVIS hasn't managed to located the Alley, The satellite were gonna need some magic upgrades it seems. Well, He did launch one few days ago.
Sirius wandered over to Tony and Rhodey, running a hand through his now-unruly hair. "Need anything to read? Or are you just loitering around like a couple of Muggle tourists?" he teased, smirking.
Tony leaned against a shelf, flipping through the Potions book. "Well, I'm not a wizard, but I like learning the basics—Potions, Runes, that sort of thing. Helps me understand what Harry's learning. Plus, runes remind me of circuit diagrams. It's… interesting."
Sirius' eyes lit up with a spark of mischief. "Runes, huh? I know a few good starter books. Hold tight." With that, he darted off toward a nearby aisle, muttering about finding "something that won't bore you to tears."
Rhodey's eyes followed Sirius, then turned toward the front of the shop, where a growing throng of witches giggling, and shoving each other aside to get a better look at the table set up for Gilderoy Lockhart's book signing.
"Man," Rhodey muttered, watching the chaos unfold, "people are going nuts over this guy. Like he's the wizard version of a rock star or something."
Tony followed his gaze, frowning. "Yeah. Sirius said he's a fraud. That guy probably doesn't know one end of a wand from the other."
Rhodey raised an eyebrow. "A fraud? You serious? All these people think he's the real deal."
Tony snorted, crossing his arms. "Yeah, well. Look at his hair. No real hero has hair that perfect. Besides, I trust Sirius' gut on this. If he says the guy's a fake, then he's a fake."
Rhodey shook his head and gave Tony a half-smile. "Well, guess we'll find out. I just hope we don't end up on the front page of the Daily Prophet as the Muggle crew that exposed the famous wizard."
Tony grinned. "That'd actually be kinda fun."
