Grayson POV.
I'm not going to pressure anybody into telling me anything.
I'm not like that.
We're not friends.
If that is the case, why the hell am I backing up a story that I have no part in?
"Why did you bring him?" Alexina asked as she pointed her finger towards me.
"It was off my own back." I hit back at her. "Why do you feel the need to-"
"I wouldn't dude." Hudson narrowed his eyes at me. "She will burn you alive." He looked back over at Alexina who currently looks like she wants to kill me.
"Either way. Its not their fault." I snapped. "I don't know what the hell is going on here, but its some sketchy stuff. If people at the academy find out about-"
"I don't care about the academy or the people that attend it." Alexina scolded me. "Neither do they! We are just the best people to gossip about until something else comes along. So do us a favour will you Melvin?" She asked raisng her eyebrow and I clenched my jaw at her.
Never hit a female.
They are off limits.
Never hit a woman Grayson.
"Go and tell you're best friend Lucian that I'm coming for him." She growled. "And when I get a hold of him, I will break him. I'll make him burn till his insides melt." She continued to grit her teeth as she spoke. Billy holding her back a little as she got closer to me.
Her body feels like fire, I can feel the heat from her skin. This time- it is the fire cursing through her veins.
Remaining in my spot, I watched as her usual deep blue eyes turned orange and she cocked her head to the side.
"Let him hear the name Bennett. I'm sure he will understand." She clicked her tongue before glaring at the boys.
They must be terrified of her.
I even just felt a shiver.
"We need to talk. In private." She spoke, all of them directed their eyes towards me and I held my hands up in surrender.
"I know when I'm not wanted." I mumbled before nodding my head towards the boys and Milani.
Walking away, I felt the urge to speak up. We showed up only to recieve a nasty attitude and no appreciation.
Yet looking into Alexina's eyes, you can tell. She is hurting. She is broken. And... I don't know what it is.
Its none of my business yet I feel so involved.
"I hope you're okay." I turned my head as I reached the door. "Thats the truth."
And it really is.

TJ's abnormally loud laugh echoed through the bar as he watched Lucian fail his spell for the hundredth time.
Girls from the academy are swooning over him eventhough he is completely failing at what he is doing.
I rolled my eyes at the behaviour, why is Lucian even here? He doesn't drink.
He came to the bar when I first met Alexina. That's when I heard them talking about me. Bad things of course.
Lucian is TJ's friend. Not mine.
Being a member of the Zinapoli wizarding family gained him popularity due to them being one of the most known and powerful but Lucian is all about bigger and better.
Lucian believes that the more well known you are, the more powerful you are but its the compelete opposite.
"Hey, its Grayson right?" A voice perked up behind me and I turned to see one of Alexina's friends.
He was here the night we first met.
"Yeah? Who are you?" I asked. I don't mean to be rude but I'm really not a fan of strangers talking to me.
Just because I've seen you, doesn't mean I know you.
"The name is William Lake. You were in my house this morning?" He raised his eyebrows as he gestured to the bartender for another drink. "I'm a close friend to the elementals."
"Okay." I nodded my head before grabbing my drink.
"How close are you to the magic freak?" He pointed towards Lucian who is still currently trying to do this spell.
"Not that close. Why?" I asked. Curiosity getting the better of me.
Who is this William kid? What is his power?
"Just wondering if you're going to tell him what Alexina said or not?" He smirked and I stepped back, my eyes widening at his words.
How does he know what the hell Alexina said?
"I can read your mind. Super sense, you're quite tense dude," he patted my shoulder before gesturing for me to move closer to him.
Is it me or is this guy weird?
I haven't thought about telling Lucian what was said because I don't want him to do something stupid.
"Now. I'm going to tell you a few things. Please keep them to yourself. I'll know if you haven't." He murmured before placing his hand on my shoulder, and guiding me towards the back of the room where barely any people showed attention.
"Listen dude. This is a bit weird-"
"Shut up and listen!" William hissed and I rolled my eyes.
"I don't have all night mate. Get a move on." I getsured and he folded his arms, his leather jacket tightening as his boots scraped the floor.
"You need to know that firstly, Alexina acts off her impulse. Not intelligence. Secondly, she is rude but she means well, don't take her insults to heart. Finally, Alexina is off limits." I stopped listening to him at the last comment.
Who the hell is this guy? Telling me that Alexina is off limits?
I don't even like her that way! I barley even like her as a friend!
And who is he to say that one of his friends is off limits? I can see Alexina kicking off at this.
Flicking her blonde hair over her shoulder, stomping her feet, the fire radiating from her veins to her own personality.
"Off limits to who?" I asked him and he furrowed his eyebrows at me before smirking. "You? You're joking right?" I laughed causing some heads to turn to our direction. "Well... I don't like her that way anyway dude."
Walking away, TJ headed towards me and he opened his mouth to speak but mind reader over hear beat him to it.
"Yes you do." He called out and TJ shot him a confused glare.
"Hey! Shut it! I'm trying to speak!" TJ hit back and I held back a laugh as William shot him a glare.
"By all means. But just to let you both know..." his voice drfited off as he approached us. "You're magic friend, can't be trusted."
And with that, he walked off. Not even sparing a glance as he headed towards the couches where he was last time.
"Who the fuck was that kid?" TJ spat as he turned around to face me. "I would not heal him if he got hurt."
"TJ." I sighed as he babbled on with himself.
"Yeah?"
"Just shut up."

Alexina POV
"That makes no sense."
"I told you."
"I agree with Billy. None of this makes sense."
"It does! Connor was right!" I snapped at Billy and Hudson as we all made our way back to our dormitories.
"I'm telling you guys. Lucian is definitely involved with the incident that happened to Bennett. His family hold so much hatred against us!" Connor sighed, I stopped in the doorway with the boys as we fell into a deep silence.
Ever since the other night, all I can think about is how I heard that Maggie lady speak about me and how they took care of Bennett.
As well as the lovely none needed protection from Grayson. I know he was just being nosey. Why else would he have raced down there? We don't have a friendship, we barley even know each other.
I've agreed to stay over at Connor's dorm tonight. Telling Malin and Abigail that I won't be there for a second night was more than easy, I'm happy they're understanding people.
Hudson and Billy decided to go back to their dorm, something about not trusting the werewolf that they're staying with.
I wouldn't either. Dirty creatures werewolves.
"Are we going up or what?" I asked as I glanced at all the boys who seemed to be engrossed in their own thoughts.
Nodding their heads, we headed up the stairs, Billy, Hudson and Connor began to argue and I rolled my eyes with a smile. Again, happy that these three boys are my best friends.
Whispers can be heard at the top of the stairs, I gripped the bannister and held my finger to my lips telling the boys to be quiet.
Creeping up the stairs, I saw Lucian, TJ and Grayson. Bobbing my head back down, we listened into the conversation.
I can't help it.
"Dude. You sound like a psycho."
Oh TJ and his lovely remarks.
"I don't care. Those four are not to be trusted."
Why thank you Lucian.
"I don't see what the problem is Lucian. Aside from being absolutely violated by Connor, you can't have anything against them."
Grayson. His words were true. You can tell by the effort he is actually putting in to reply to someone.
Me, Hudson and Billy turned to Connor who was smirking and I shook my head at him before returning my ears back to the conversation.
"Grayson. I don't see why you have taken a likingto them. Particularly Valentine."
"Just because our kinds have been enemies for centuries doesn't mean that I hold it against them. As for Valentine, I don't see why you're so upset. Its just conversation."
"Yeah dude. My family and kind aren't rivals with anybody but those guys seem cool. I don't have a problem with them. Just you and the werevolves."
"Shut up TJ!"
"Bro. Tell me to shut up again and I'll personally ask Hudson to shove a tree up you're ass."
"By the way, I spoke to Alexina, she requests that I tell you that she is coming for you. When she gets a hold of you, she will break you and I quote "melt your insides."
I held back a laugh at the amusment in Grayson's voice as he spoke to Lucian. Connor was shaking his head at me and I rolled my eyes at him.
"Will she now?"
"Yeah dude."
"Why have you told me and not her?"
"She asked me to. By the way, she said if you're confused... which you are. To mention the name Bennett."
Well well well... what do we have here?
Silence filled the corridor.
Connor turned to me, upset filling his features at the mention of Bennett's name. We all miss him.
This silence is telling me everything that I need to know. I can see over the bannister that even TJ is giving Lucian a once over.
"I'm going back to the dorm. I'm done. I can read you like a book Lucian. You're up to no good."
"TJ. What the hell?"
"Don't even bother. You're harming people who have done nothing wrong to you. I want no part of it."
"Grayson- come on."
"Nah. Forget it Lucian. We're done."
What?
Did I just hear all of that correctly?
The triplets of Satan are no more?
This is going to be a good converstaion starter.
