Joy's POV
A week had gone by and I did not see Aaron or even remind him about the movie tomorrow, I wanted to stop by and remind him but I just didn't. I spent the next day thinking of what to wear and when it was sixteen hundred hours, I went outside and saw Aaron and Gold sitting on my front porch, when they saw me, they quickly stood up
"You remembered" I said, having nothing else to say.
"Of course, why would I forget" He replied smiling
"Oh and Gold is coming" He added. I turned to face Gold.
"Yeah, I got late tickets and decided to join in, if that's okay with you" She added
"That's great news "I said forcing a smile. I gave Violet a call and minutes later a sports car pulled up beside us, I asked if Gold could tag along and they agreed, we all went in and Travis zoomed off to the movies. When we got there Violet, Gold and I went to get drinks and popcorn, while Travis and Aaron went to get the best seats.
In the cinema, Violet sat beside Travis, I sat beside Violet, Aaron wanted to sit beside me but Gold told him she wanted to sit there and he reluctantly agreed. Gold kept clinging to Aaron and Violet noticed halfway through the movie, Violet couldn't concentrate, because of the annoyance she developed from seeing Gold cling to Aaron. She dragged me to the bathroom and asked
"What's up with her?she said with an annoyed expression on her face.
"With who?" I said confused
"Aarons little clinger" She answered
"Ohhhhh!! You mean Gold" I replied
"She's clinging to Aaron and its so obvious" She said kind of annoyed.
"Urgh, I'm missing the movie" I said before I stormed off and Violet followed When the movie ended, it was already dark and the drive back home was somewhat longer. In the car, Gold fell asleep on Aaron's shoulder which made me feel uneasy. Aaron noticed and pretended to fall asleep on my shoulder, I knew he was pretending, because his regular snore was way louder [he normally sounded like a bellowing brachiosaurus]
When we got home we thanked Violet and Travis for inviting us and watched them drive off. We dropped Gold off at her front door and went to Aaron's house. I was about to leave when Aaron asked if I could stay for a bit.
"Sure" I answered…..
