Thanks for the suggestions. I've already decided what Bel's power will be. Of course, to find out, just read on.
I couldn't think much today, I was quite mentally exhausted. So I preferred to write an average 1k word chapter, rather than end up writing a terrible 2-3k chapter.

- 3rd POV -
Siberia.
January - 1998
Inside a huge underground laboratory complex belonging to Umbrella Corporation, a small commotion was happening among the scientists.
The reason for the commotion was one of the experiment subjects - specifically, D-001.
Codename: Beelzebub.
Two days ago, D-001, who is a little girl who had completely adapted to the T-virus, was forced to face a high-risk experimental biological weapon, the T-001.
Codename: Tyrant.
In the end, D-001 emerged victorious by releasing some kind of psychic energy, which annihilated her enemy, as well as a good part of the place where they were fighting.
The commotion wasn't because she won, or because she demonstrated psychic powers, but because D-001, the experimental subject who would be worth billions, has been in a coma for nearly three days after the battle.
And Dr. Ironwall, the research leader, couldn't be more nervous, as D-001 showed no signs of waking up.
This same doctor, is pacing back and forth non-stop, while observing the small and motionless body of D-001, who was lying peacefully on a bed. D-001's body was covered in various types of devices, measuring all of her vital and brain signs.
"Why don't you wake up...Why don't you wake up!" Ironwall shouted.
Sabrina, his junior assistant, jumped in fright upon hearing Ironwall's outburst.
"Sir, please calm down. She is alive and her brain signals all seem to be in order, sooner or later she will wake up," Sabrina said, trying to calm Ironwall down.
Ironwall stared at her like she was the biggest idiot in the world, and massaged his head in frustration. "You don't understand! She is EVERYTHING to me! She NEED to wake up! If she doesn't wake up, they'll cancel my experiment and take her away from me!"
"I don't understand, wouldn't it be possible to restart the experiment? After all, that organization always seems to have test subjects to sell, "Sabrina said.
"Hahahaha! Do you think that is that easy?!" Ironwall laughed openly, as if he had heard the biggest joke in the world, and Sabrina blushed in embarrassment. "D-001 is not something that can be replicated, she is completely invulnerable to all viruses known to man, and that's just the bigger part of the whole that she is! Do you have any idea how rare she is? It is so rare that it wouldn't be strange if someone like her never appeared again in the history of mankind!"
After that, Ironwall dismissed Sabrina and left the room, so he could think in peace.
There was no specific method to wake a patient from a coma, especially if they didn't even know what caused it. All that was known was that a major impact on D-001's body and mind was the cause, because the moment D-001 released her psychic power, the readings from the machines that observed her physical and mental performance went crazy.
It was then that Ironwall stopped. His eyes widened, and his pace quickened, walking quickly back and forth.
'If the cause of the coma was a major impact on the body and mind...' Ironwall pondered, 'then maybe another big impact on the body and mind can wake her up!'
"Yes! That's it!" Ironwall was immediately certain that this would be the solution, as if it were a divine revelation.
But there was nothing there that could do that.
Unless...
Ironwall remembered. Almost two weeks ago, a special cargo had arrived at the facility he was in - a completely sealed cargo that was to be sent to Umbrella's main headquarters.
Specifically, it was to be delivered directly to Dr. Oswell E. Spencer.
Something like that couldn't be ordinary, he could feel it. Whatever was in that cargo, it was the key to waking D-001.
However, that cargo was under heavy vigillance. If he tried to open the cargo, Dr. Oswell would know immediately. He would be branded a traitor, and would be eliminated.
However, for Ironwall, this was a minor price to pay. If he could wake D-001 up, he would be able to escape from the Umbrella Corporation. D-001 may look like a child, but she is, without a doubt, the most powerful biological weapon that Umbrella Corporation has ever created.
And she would become even stronger in the future.
As for whether D-001 would obey him? He had no doubts about that, after all, he had broken her and turned her into a little soldier who followed his every order.
D-001's loyalty had been tested several times already. And she never disappointed.
As the chief scientist, the entire facility is under his control. But after opening the cargo, he will have one hour before all his authorizations are revoked and the extermination team get dispatched to wipe out everyone there. In total, he has a maximum of an hour and a half to wake D-001.
It might not be enough, but if he used the other cientists and soldiers as meat shields to buy time, it was possible.
Ironwall smiled.
Yes, it was the perfect plan. He wasn't going to let anyone take his greatest creation from him. And surely wont let those idiots who only seek profit take her. They didn't deserve this gift from the heavens!
"Cargo team, respond" Ironwall said as he took out and turned on the personal radio that was in his pocket.
"Zzz...Yes sir? How can we help you?" A man's voice came over the radio in response.
"Prepare to open the cargo DZ2241-092. Remove all restrictions, but only open when I arrive on site."
"Zzz...But sir, in the system it says that this cargo is confidential, can we really open-"
"Don't worry," Ironwall interrupted him. "I already got permission from above."
"Zzz...If you say so. Alright, I already started the procedures to remove the restrictions on the cargo. When you get here, it will already be done."
Ironwall didn't respond - he turned off the radio in silence.
This will be a race against time, but it doesn't matter. He will wake up D-001, no matter the cost, because his chance of ascension to divinity slept with her.
With quick but firm steps, Ironwall walked towards the cargo section, mentally preparing himself for the storm he would create.
