Chapter 43 - USJ - 3

Third Person POV

The world had blurred around Aizawa for a fraction of a second. One moment, the Nomu's monstrous fist was hurtling towards his face; the next, the concrete beneath him had become a gaping crater, and he was being held securely by Minato, standing a safe distance away. The sheer speed of the rescue was incomprehensible, leaving Aizawa disoriented but undeniably safe.

"Sensei, are you okay?" Minato's voice was calm, concerned, cutting through Aizawa's daze.

Aizawa's eyes, wide with shock, blinked slowly. He nodded, then managed to croak, "Yes... Yes, I'm alright. Thank you, Namikaze. You... you can teleport?"

Minato gave a small nod. "Among other things, yes." His gaze was already sweeping across the chaotic battlefield, his sharp eyes assessing the remaining threats. "Sensei, I'll take care of them. Just watch my back for me."

Aizawa was about to protest, to tell him that this was too dangerous, that Minato was just a student facing an overwhelming force. But Minato didn't wait. He moved. Before Aizawa could utter another word, Minato blurred into action. He was a streak of golden light, throwing a handful of his unique kunai towards the various groups of villains still converging on them. With each subsequent yellow flash, he appeared at the kunai's location, delivering swift, precise, incapacitating blows to the villains, taking them down one by one with surgical efficiency. In moments, the remaining thugs were neutralized, sprawling unconscious on the ground.

Aizawa, though injured, watched, utterly dumbfounded. He's clearing them out like they're nothing! Minato's movements were too fast to follow with the naked eye, a phenomenon he had only ever seen from one hero. The sheer efficiency of the take-downs was chillingly perfect.

Across the USJ, students scattered in different zones struggled with their own groups of villains. Momo, Jiro, and Kaminari, having just been rescued by Minato from their own skirmish, were now watching the central plaza, their eyes wide with a mixture of fear and awe.

"He's... he's fighting them all?!" Kaminari gasped, barely believing his eyes as he saw Minato darting between villains. "He's so fast!"

"Is that his Quirk?" Jiro mumbled, her voice strained, completely fixated on the golden blurs. "It's not just speed, it's like... he's appearing and disappearing!"

"He's incredible," Momo whispered, a newfound respect blooming in her chest. The calm, decisive leader from the bus was now a whirlwind of impossible speed and power.

The plaza, moments ago a whirlwind of chaos, was now eerily silent, save for the distant sounds of battle from other zones. Only Shigaraki, Kurogiri, and the immense Nomu remained standing.

The Nomu, having recovered from Minato's earlier redirected punch, lumbered out of the freshly formed crater, its grotesque form scanning the environment for its intended target. Shigaraki's voice, raspy and filled with furious frustration, cut through the silence. "Kurogiri! That brat! Nomu! Finish him! Eliminate him!"

The Nomu registered the command. With a guttural roar, it surged forward, its immense, muscled legs propelling it towards Minato at terrifying speed.

"He's going to fight that thing?!" Kaminari shrieked, a new wave of fear washing over him. The Nomu's presence was oppressive, like a force of pure destruction.

Aizawa's breath hitched. "Namikaze, don't! That thing's built to kill All Might!" he tried to warn, but it was too late.

Minato stood his ground. He gathered a concentrated ball of spinning chakra in his right hand index and middle finger.

Rasendan

With a powerful thrust, he shot the swirling orb of energy directly at the Nomu's legs. The force of the attack was tremendous, blasting into the Nomu's knees into smithereens.

A collective gasp swept through any student who could witness the scene. "He just... shot it directly!" Midoriya whispered from his zone, having a clear but distant view of the central plaza. His mind was racing, trying to analyze Minato's Quirk, its incredible raw power.

The Nomu stumbled, its immense weight jarring it, but it didn't fall. Its leg gone, began to regenerate almost instantly, muscles and bone knitting themselves back together with sickening speed. The monster continued to crawl towards Minato, its focus unwavering.

Aizawa watched in horror. "It's regenerating?!" he rasped, his face paling. "It's got shock absorption and regeneration!"

"Oh no, it's getting back up!" Jiro cried, a cold dread seeping into her voice.

Minato, seeing the rapid regeneration, understood. A single, focused blow wasn't enough. This creature needed to be damaged all at once, comprehensively, to buy time or incapacitate it. He needed more power.

With another surge of chakra, Minato thrust his hand forward again.

Rasendan

This time, he aimed for the Nomu's head. The Rasendan slammed into the Nomu's exposed brain and obliterated it. The Nomu's head exploded in a gruesome burst, organic matter splattering across the plaza.

A wave of nausea swept through the watching students. "He... he blew its head off!" Kaminari stammered, barely able to process the gruesome sight.

The creature halted, its headless body standing motionless for a moment. But even as the dust settled, the horrific process began again. The head, or what was left of it, started to regenerate, rapidly reforming itself, proving the Nomu's shock absorption and regeneration were truly on another level.

"It's not dying!" Momo whispered, her face pale. "It's regenerating its head! How can he beat that?!"

At the same time, Minato channeled a massive amount of chakra, manipulating its very form. He channeled chakra and wind swirling and expanding, taking on the distinct, whirling shape of a giant shuriken.

Aizawa, battered but lucid, watched in stunned silence. The sheer power radiating from Minato was overwhelming. It wasn't just a powerful Quirk; it felt like a force of nature, a level of destructive energy he had witnessed before, from All Might. What is this kid capable of? This isn't just an enhancement Quirk!

Shigaraki, for the first time, stopped scratching his neck. His one visible eye widened in alarm, a rare flicker of genuine fear in his usually deranged expression. Kurogiri, too, seemed to ripple, sensing the immense, unfathomable power emanating from the blond teen. All villains present on the battlefield, even those still dazed, collectively felt an oppressive, terrifying aura that made their instincts scream.

"W-what is that?!" Kirishima stammered from his location in the landslide zone, having a view of the center. The sheer scale of the energy was almost tangible.

"The air... it's vibrating!" Jiro exclaimed, clutching her ears, the sheer force of Minato's power overwhelming her sensory Quirk.

"That's not just a Quirk!" Momo whispered, her eyes wide with a mix of fear and awe. Her own understanding of material composition was being utterly defied by the visible force Minato was wielding.

Minato, without a word, vanished again, using the Flying Thunder God Mark he had subtly placed on the Nomu's hand earlier. He reappeared instantly right beside the regenerating Nomu.

Rasenshuriken

He slammed the Rasenshuriken into the Nomu's torso. The impact was deafening, a monstrous howl of wind and concentrated energy. The Nomu was completely engulfed by the swirling vortex of chakra, its form rapidly breaking down into countless invisible blades of wind, its regeneration unable to keep up with the overwhelming, cellular-level destruction.

The instant the Rasenshuriken made contact, Minato executed another yellow flash, teleporting away to a safe distance. He watched, along with the two bewildered villains, as the devastating force of the Rasenshuriken exploded, consuming the Nomu in a maelstrom of destructive wind chakra.

The dust and debris began to settle, revealing a massive, perfectly circular depression where the Nomu had once stood. There was no sign of the monster. A terrifying silence descended over the USJ central plaza.

Shigaraki's jaw hung open, his hands momentarily forgotten. His eyes darted frantically between the empty crater and Minato, a terrifying realization dawning on him. His ultimate weapon, the anti-Symbol of Peace, was gone. Defeated. By a student.

A primal scream of rage tore from Shigaraki's throat, raw and unadulterated. "NO! THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE! YOU BASTARD! YOU CHEATED!" He lurched forward, fueled by furious disbelief, intent on tearing Minato apart with his bare hands.

But before he could even take a step, Kurogiri's mist form billowed, engulfing him without consent. "Shigaraki Tomura," Kurogiri's calm, ethereal voice resonated, despite the palpable tension. "We have been completely defeated. The Nomu is gone. The students are safe. Our primary objective has failed. We must retreat."

Shigaraki thrashed within the warp gate, his enraged screams echoing as he was forcibly pulled back through the portal, disappearing as abruptly as he had arrived. Kurogiri's mist form then flickered, shrinking rapidly before vanishing entirely, leaving the plaza empty save for the scattered, unconscious villains and the two heroes.

Aizawa, leaning heavily on Minato, stared at the empty space where the Nomu had been, his jaw slack. The silence was deafening.

Just then, a powerful, familiar voice boomed through the now-quiet facility, echoing off the high dome. "I AM HERE!"

All Might burst into the USJ, slamming through the shattered main entrance, his mighty figure filling the space with his presence. He landed with a heroic pose, smoke rising around him, ready to unleash his power upon the villains.

But his booming declaration died in his throat. His eyes swept across the central plaza. The numerous villains were all unconscious, neatly piled or scattered about. Aizawa was safe, leaning on Minato, who stood calmly. And the monstrous Nomu... was nowhere to be seen, replaced by a massive crater.

All Might's heroic pose deflated. His jaw dropped. His eyes widened to comical proportions, and a truly dumbfounded expression spread across his face.

"W-what... happened?" All Might stammered, his voice losing its iconic boom. "What happened to the villains?! Where's the... ?!"

The only answer was the lingering silence, the dust settling in the crater, and the faint, almost imperceptible gleam in Minato's eyes.
