So, I guess I should introduce myself again, huh?
Hey, I'm Iván Adrastus. A werewolf—yep, you heard that right. Turns out my dad comes from a werewolf bloodline, and so does my little sister. She hasn't turned yet—still too young—but I've heard from Alan that it can happen early. It's rare, though, so I'm hoping she's got more time.
Oh, and I'm 15 now—crazy, right? Feels like the last few months just flew by. My birthday was on September 25th, and now it's already November. Thanksgiving's coming up, and I'm officially on school break. Finally,
Thank God for that.
Right, you're probably wondering what I think about all this now. Well, I'm still adjusting—but honestly, it's not that bad. As for my father… my pendant showed me what happened to him. I've decided to do what he would've wanted—not seek revenge.
But if I'm being real with you… I don't know how I feel about that. If I ever do see his killer, I'll probably end up killing them. Yeah, you heard me right.
After taking out that vampire, I stopped feeling guilty about it. Weird, huh?
Anyway, turns out I can shift into a massive wolf—crazy, right?
Oh and my fur's silver, almost like the moon. Apparently, only my family has that color. It also explains why my sister and I have the same eyes as our dad.
Now, about those questions I used to have—my mom told me that Dad didn't want me involved in any of this. she didn't know who to trust, so she took us and left. Of course, our names were changed a long time ago. My dad was super overprotective—guess he knew what kind of danger his kids could be in.
But still… It's nice to know I have a family.
Not that I ever met most of them. Actually… maybe I met my grandpa once? I'm not even sure. Doesn't really matter. I don't know them, and I'm not the type to go looking. It's called being smart.
Staying in Beacon Hills, with friends I can actually count on—that's what matters. Scott, Stiles, CJ… and then there's Rowan. He's been a little distant lately, but it looks like he's coming around.
Oh, and then there's Derek. Yeah, he's an Alpha now. His uncle—turns out he was the damn Lycan running around like a maniac. Derek let him live, though. Said his uncle had more knowledge than he did. Guess that counts for something. Right now, Derek's living in a loft he bought with his family's money. Pretty nice setup, honestly.
And the night of the school events… honestly, I don't remember much from that day. Just my mom telling me my dad was dead—and that was it.
Now, with all that out of the way, you're probably wondering what happened to soccer.
Well… turns out dear old Dad left a big chunk of money behind for me and his daughter. So I don't really have to worry about my future too much. And of course, I didn't exactly make the smartest choice with it… because instead of doing something responsible, I bought a PC and started playing Minecraft.
Oh yeah, that Zack guy? He moved out of town. Turns out his parents got better jobs somewhere else. So yeah, soccer's kind of off the table—for now. It's a bit of a bummer that I didn't stick with it. But hey, good news: Beacon Hills has a soccer team for kids aged 15 to 17 that plays in real tournaments. So who knows? Maybe I'll try out before the season starts.
Could be fun.
"Iván!" his sister called out, running into his room. She was still in her pajamas—no school today, after all.
"Yes? What's up, Sofía?"
"I'm bored! Oh, you got a PC? Let me play!" she practically yelled, already climbing into the chair. Iván sighed but got up and let her have it.
"So, Sofi, how are you adjusting to Beacon Hills? Think it's a nice place to settle down?"
"Yeah, I think so. I don't know why, but I love being surrounded by the woods. Makes me feel… at home. Oh! And the moon. It feels like it's calling to me. I don't know how to explain it…"
She paused, then added, "I did some research, you know. Did you know the moon used to be worshipped a long time ago? our ancestors from Mexico even worshipped it, but that whole religion pretty much long gone now."
"Wow, I didn't know that," Iván said, thinking it over. Though honestly, it kind of made sense—he was a werewolf, after all. Wait… did she just say what he thought she did? Right. He'd felt the same thing when he was around her age.
He sighed. "Well, I'm heading out. I'll be home later. And please don't download anything weird—I don't want to come back to a virus on my computer."
"Okay, big brother," she said with a mischievous grin.
And just like that, he was off.
Iván walked out of the house, waving goodbye to his mom—probably the most badass person he knew. She shot an Alpha right in the face. Yeah, she could've been killed… but he was glad nothing happened to her.
Without looking back, Iván stepped into the woods, his pace picking up until he broke into a run. He pulled off his shirt mid-stride, muscles tightening as his body began to shift. In a flash of motion and bone-cracking change, he became a massive silver wolf.
His paws slammed into the earth with a heavy thud, and for the first time in a while, he felt free.
ran through the forest, the wind rushing past his fur as he tore through the branches. Reaching a clearing, he stopped and looked down—Hunters. They had already spotted him. He could hear Chris Argent's voice ordering the men not to engage.
But then, he caught a scent. A coyote. At first, he thought it was just a normal one… until it locked eyes with him, growling like some fearless little Chihuahua challenging a massive wolf. Iván tilted his head, amused. She had no idea who she was dealing with.
What he didn't realize was that this form—her coyote form—wasn't a curse. It was her own doing. Something rare. Something almost unheard of.
"I'll just scare it off," he muttered.
But before he could act, his power surged uncontrollably, breaking the bonds that held her form together. The coyote yelped, collapsing—and in a sudden, shifting blur, she transformed.
Into a girl.
Naked.
Iván's eyes widened. He spun around quickly, looking away as the pendant around his neck glowed—and laughed at him.
