Days passed by quickly since the time he took in Yana. He cannot forget that night when she ate a sea king meat just like that. Glenn tried to asked her if she feel any discomfort and all the response she gave was a shake of her head.
In reality, Glenn heaved a sigh of relief after making sure she's really okay. It would terrible if he accidentally killed a child with piece of meat. But then he remembered she's not an ordinary child. He was sure that all the people in that room was a mutant though he doesn't know what Yana's ability was. Either way, he didn't care as long as she's obedient and she can get a long with him.
Glenn also took her to the mall for shopping. He bought some new clothes, toys and snacks she wanted. Just like a sister, she's always stuck to him wherever he goes. Even when they fall asleep.
Yana has a separate room on her own which was a guest room before. But everytime they call it a night, Yana always climbs in his bed when he's asleep.
On the first nights when this happened, he always put her back on her own bed room when he found her beside him. But she's always doing it everyday and Glenn got tired of it. When he woke up in the middle of the night and felt someone lay beside him, he didn't bother anymore and let her share the other side of the bed. Specially when he asked her the reason why she keeps doing it and he finally understood why. Her response was just one word and what she said was the word 'Safe'. This one word made him understand everything and it left him stunned. All this time, the reason why she's so clingy to him was because she feels safe but it also raised some alarm which left him wonder, safe from what or whom?
With that, he leave her alone letting her do what she wanted to do. Poor child, locking her up in that place seems to left some trauma in her.
And to help her recover somehow, he began to genuinely treat her better. He cooked for her, play with her with her toys, took her to a park nearby and even taught her how to take a bath by herself with the help of female staffs of the building.
He also called uncle John and Elle for some help when he needed to do some errands outside. Together, they began to spoil her with everything that'll make her happy.
He spent Christmas and New Year with uncle John and Elle in his penthouse. Of course, there's a new addition to the family and that's the first he saw Yana smile specially when
she opened her first gift. A brand new stuffed toy that can turn into a puppet.

One night in the late January of 2009, he received a call from Daisy because of an unusual tasked he received as an assignment.
The task was to find two siblings who escaped from their parents and is on the run.
Before taking the call, he checked Yana first in her room if she's asleep and then he went towards the balcony, used moonwalk and landed on a nearby rooftop to take the call. He doesn't want Yana to accidentally hear anything inappropriate during their conversation.
However, unbeknownst to Glenn. That single moment he left was when Yana woke up from her sleep, terrified. She was so afraid that she couldn't utter a single word so she run out of her room and went to Glenn's room only to find it empty.
Suddenly, a portal appeared at her back and a demonic hand grabbed her from behind dragging her towards the portal. She struggled hard from the grip to fight back but she's unable to break free. Before it closed completely, she managed to scream Glenn's name at the top of her lungs which successfully reached him.
On the other hand, when Glenn heard Yana's scream, he quickly used every inch of his power to get back.
What he saw left him shocked and angry at the same time. He saw Yana's terrified face as a hand dragged her towards the portal. It was just a few seconds but he couldn't make it in time. He dashed forward but as he was about to reach her hand, the portal closed leaving Glenn alone. He waved his hands trying grabbed the remnants of the portal but he failed.
Then something snapped inside him. His pupils constricted and his face was full of rage making him look like a terrifying person.
"How dare you?!!"
Glenn quickly used the entire force of his body to run to the balcony and jumped over trying to locate the taker using his observation haki but since his haki is still in Basic stage, it wasn't that helpful in his search. He clutch to a possibility that the one who took her was nearby. Nevertheless, he kept trying.
Meanwhile, back at Glenn's penthouse.
The same portal flickered out of existence from small into a life size circular gate. Then someone came out of it slowly, while taking a deep breath, sizing up the surrounding, feeling a little nostalgic. Then the portal closed up and whoever it was that came out went out Glenn's room.
Glenn on the other hand kept looking at the surrounding hoping to find the culprit. He spend so much time running around the perimeter of the building but he found nothing.
'It might be a long distance portal but where? Damn it! I hope Yana is alright. Whoever it was, I'm going to make him pay.'
Glenn gritted his teeth as he punched the wall beside him with fury.
Bang!
The wall collapsed crumbling to the ground as pieces of it splintered out randomly. Although he hands got wounded doing so, he didn't feel any pain. Just full fury and rage.
Unable to find any clues, he decided to return to the penthouse and call it a night. He felt tired suddenly after unleashing an uncontrolled strength, the stress of losing someone and lack of sleep.
As he landed at the balcony, he couldn't help but remember the look on her face when she was dragged by that hand into the portal. He gritted his teeth once again as he made his way towards his bedroom. This is the first time he felt defeated and powerless towards the situation. Even though the enemy sneaked up on him, he manage to take away something important from him. Lately, he has been very complacent in everything he do thinking no one with right mind can escape his detection. This night was a wake up call for him that he's still weak and powerless compared to the select beings of this universe. Even a mere portal wielding enemy made him feel defenseless.
'I think I need to accept a few missions to vent'
While he's thinking of ways on how to track Yana, he inevitably fell asleep in his bed. Deep in the night, his door opened once again as someone approached him.

Next morning
Glenn woke up from his sleep when felt a leg wrapped around his body. At first, he just let it be thinking it was Yana. But a few moments later, he remembered what happened last night.
He suddenly snapped his eyes opened and turned only to find a teenage girl beside him still asleep. She had a long blonde hair and blunt bangs. Her skin was white and smooth but he could see a few scars here and there. She's only wearing a large T-shirt and underwear.
He flinched at the scene and he immediately get up from the bed scrambling away from her. His movement stirred the girl awake from her sleep.
Glenn backed up to the corner of the room trying to understand what happened. As far as he knows, he didn't took any girl home since he took Yana.
"What?! It's still early." The girl said while rubbing her eyes and yawning.
"W-Who are you?"
"What do you mean? You took me in, remember?"
Gulped
Glenn couldn't help but swallow hard when he saw her careless position in the bed, seemingly trying to seduce him.
"I can't remember, would you mind telling me some clues?"
"Well, we always sleep together every night. That's what I remember."
When he heard her say that, something clicked inside his mind and he was stunned.
"You mean, you're Yana?"
"Who else? I'm still sleepy"
"No you're not. Yana is just a kid while you are a teenager, although you looked like her in some ways."
The girl rolled her eyes in exasperation.
"It's me!"
"Then tell me something only Yana knows."
"You put booger in uncle John's coffee one time. Not even big sis Elle knew that!"
"What the hell! But you're a teenager!"
"Oh remember the night some douchebag took me?"
"Yeah, that's last night."
"Huh? It's just last night? No wonder it feels like nothing's changed except me."
"What happened? Please tell me the name who took you, he's gonna pay for what he did."
"Oh that guy? I already took care of him, though he must be alive somewhere."
"Still alive? That's good, hehehehe. It would be too easy for him to die. What's his name?"
"Belasco!"
"Hmm? That name seems familiar. I swear I heard of that name somewhere."
"Doesn't matter. What matters is I'm home I missed your cooking."
"Wait a minute, I need to know what happened. How did you become like that?"
"As you remember, I've been kidnapped from that night by Belasco and I was taken to a dimension called Limbo. I spent a decade there and was raised to be bullied by his assistant. He also tried to corrupt my soul but luckily, I've met a few friends there. In the end, I managed to banished that demon from his own realm and gain it as my own. Hahaha, I now own Limbo. Tell me, am I not awesome?"
"Wait what? You mean to say you spent a decade in that place that's why you're already this almost grown up? But that's imposs—oh wait I forgot what this universe is..tsk. When did you get back?"
"Last night? I came back here but went to my room when I didn't find you here. Then I woke up again past two in the morning and crawled up on your bed like I used to. What's wrong?"
"What do you mean what's wrong? You were kidnapped just last night. Hmmm.. That means the flow of time there is faster than here. You spend a decade there while it's just a few minutes here. This sounds..... Familiar."
"Okay stop nagging already. I know you know you recognize me. The same Illyana Rasputin you took from that damn facility."
Glenn nodded and decided to move on until he heard her full name.
"Wait, what in hell is your full name again?"
"Illyana.... Illyana Rasputin."
"Holycrap... why didn't you tell me?"
"I didn't tell you? Uhm.. Well you didn't ask."
Glenn was dumbfounded at the discovery. Who would have thought that the child he picked up from that gambling den was Illyana Rasputin a.k.a Magik. The little sister of Colossus.
"Glenn, I'm hungry.. "
"Okay okay, can you go back to your room please, I need to change. And dress up, young lady. Somebody might've thought we did something inappropriate when they see you like that."
"But I don't have clothes that fit me anymore besides this large T-shirt you gave me."
"Right! We gotta deal with your clothes later, just grab some of my shorts and T-shirt in the closet and bring it to your room to change. Get a shower, oh shit I'm surprised I didn't wake up last night with your smell like that."
"Hmph! Fine!"
