Like every cold aristocratic family, the bond between Roy and Rocky wasn't any better.
They didn't fight, play intimately, or erupt into sharp disputes. The Derek siblings were both perfectionists, always speaking and acting with grace and never behaving out of line.
In her younger years, Roy was under Rocky's guardianship, with him controlling her words and actions. No attending mysterious gatherings, no mingling with strange boys, there were rules aplenty. Later, Roy progressed to higher grades, busy with Royal Family etiquette courses and academic projects, gradually becoming distant from Rocky. The last time they held hands on the way home was probably a year or two ago, when Roy got drunk at Mrs. Daisy's banquet and he barged in to forcefully take her away.
