Chapter 1 - Prologue

"I want to die"

Dreams, they are my only refuge from the cruelties of the world. In one dream, I can soar through the sky, navigating my way through the clouds with the wind, guiding a flock of birds to their destination. In another, I could date the girl of my dreams, with her long, denim blue hair which matches the colour of her eyes, enhancing her beauty. Her pale complexion is reminiscent of sand, complementing her overall aesthetics and giving her a youthful charm. Sadly, it is useless to think about those once nighttime passes and the sun rises, as they are nothing but dreams.

After my four(4) hour grace period, 16 hours of my day are spent slaving away in the factories, the intoxicating smell of sweat and grease fills the air, infecting my nostrils. As the seconds go by, my sanity begins to evaporate, and my muscles lose all will. Yet, despite all my efforts, I still feel a sharp gaze from my superior directed in my direction, accompanied by a sneer. He never said a word, but I could feel the disdain he had for me, and that was more annoying than any reprehension.

I never wanted this life, but after the death of my parents, I was forced here. Due to my lack of intelligence in my early years, I was unable to attend university and therefore get a proper job that would be able to sustain my lifestyle. My family tried to encourage me to study, but I was complacent with the life I had now, living off my parents like a leech. However, once my parents died, I was forced to find a job to continue living, but due to my lack of education, it was difficult to find a well paying job. Luckily, my uncle provided me with a job that offered just above minimum wage, it was as a worker in the factory he owned. At first, I wasn't enthusiastic and resented him, but instead, he could just provide me with the funds to continue living instead of forcing me to work. Now, after one month, I have decided to quit. After debating the topic in my head, I have concluded that if this is the life I a going to continue living, then I don't want to live. I formally handed over my resignation papers to my superior, and without a word, he kicked me out. Now I was jobless.

I had another internal conflict on whether to live homeless, and then I came to the final result.

"Im a f*cking dumbass"

Every human is

This is why I value my sleep, as the dreams provide me with a sense of freedom and rest. However, one fine morning, as I lay in bed, my dreams were interrupted by a loud crash. BANG! It was sudden, and in an instant, I jolted out of bed. The supports of the house were broken, the floorboard cracked, and the only thing remaining was my bed. I left the area that once held my house to examine the surrounding area, and the second I left, I was greeted by a message.
