But after seeing Arthur, he finally became more normal, because finally a human being appeared.

"But this human is also extraordinary - he is actually King Arthur from ancient times!"

Kaido muttered in a low voice, with a hint of doubt in his tone.

He looked at Arthur's profile, a complex emotion flashing in his eyes.

He never thought that he would encounter so many unfamiliar names in this game, but the stories behind these names made him feel a little curious.

"Okay, let's choose Arthur." Kaido finally selected Arthur. There was a hint of helplessness in his voice, but some expectation showed in his eyes.

"Live by the sword, die by the sword! Is he a great swordsman?" Kaido took a sip of wine. If these stories were true, then they were indeed qualified to be called heroes.

When he thought about himself, he suddenly felt ashamed.

"Hey! What have I been doing all these years? I haven't even achieved my goal of becoming Pirate King. How shameful!" He muttered in a low voice with a hint of self-mockery in his tone.

Kaido narrowed his eyes and stared at the hero selection interface in confusion.

In his eyes, those colorful avatars all looked the same.

"Just pick one randomly!" He muttered, closed his eyes, and randomly tapped the screen with his thick fingers.

When he opened his eyes, a charming woman with revealing clothes and fox ears appeared on the screen - Daji!

Kaido's dragon face suddenly collapsed, and two streams of white air came out of his nostrils. "What...what the hell is this?!" He was about to choose again, but he caught sight of the skill description.

"Hmm... Captivate... Soul Impact..." Kaido's dragon whiskers twitched, and a hint of interest flashed in his eyes. "Interesting."

Following a system prompt of "all troops attack," he controlled this hero whose image was completely different from his own, and swaggered straight to the middle lane.

"Just a defense tower..." Kaido looked at the golden light under the enemy tower and snorted with disdain.

His mind was full of clues to the great secret treasure, and he controlled Daji to rush directly into the tower.

As a result, before he even touched the tower, he was hit by the tower's attacks and fled away in panic. The screen turned gray in an instant.

"What?!" Kaido suddenly jumped up from the throne, and the wine gourd was knocked to the ground.

He stared at the respawn countdown, his dragon scales standing up in anger. "I'm the strongest in the New World, but I was killed by a tower in this stupid game?!"

After respawning, Kaido finally learned his lesson. He followed the system's instructions and carefully cleared the minions, saved gold coins, and bought equipment.

When he knocked down the first defense tower, he proudly took a sip of wine. "Worororo... That's more like it!"

However, the good times did not last long.

Just as he was attacking the second tower, three enemy heroes suddenly jumped out of the bushes and surrounded him in an instant.

"Bastard!" Kaido pressed the skill button in panic, but Daji's small body still fell under their attacks. The screen dimmed again, and the respawn time became longer.

"I'm so angry!!!" Kaido's roar caused dust to fall from the hall.

He roared into the phone: "You four idiots! Come over and help!" Unfortunately, the four AI teammates still did their own thing and completely ignored his commands.

After a hard battle, when the word "Victory" finally appeared on the screen, Kaido breathed a sigh of relief and collapsed on the throne.

That feeling of pleasure even diluted his obsession with the great secret treasure.

He wiped the sweat from his forehead, stared at the results screen and muttered: "One more game... I must get the MVP this time!"

Time flew by, and in the blink of an eye it was already late at night.

Inside the main hall of Onigashima, Kaido was completely absorbed in the world of Honor of Kings, and even the food brought by his subordinates was left aside untouched.

His huge body was hunched on the throne, his eyes fixed on the screen of his mobile phone, his fingers swiping across the screen clumsily but persistently.

"Wororororo! Three wins in a row!" Kaido suddenly laughed out loud toward the sky, shaking with excitement.

The golden "MVP" logo on the screen made him extremely proud. "This bunch of useless teammates are all carried by me alone!"

Not yet satisfied, he started another game.

This time he chose the majestic Arthur, feeling that this hero was finally worthy of his status.

After the game started, he hummed a little tune while leisurely clearing the minions in the confrontation lane, and his dragon tail swayed unconsciously to the rhythm.

Suddenly,

Four enemy heroes jumped out of the bushes, their skills pouring down like a rainstorm.

Before Kaido could react, the screen turned gray.

"What?!" Kaido's eyes widened and two streams of white smoke came out of his nostrils.

He stared at the death replay, watching his own Arthur being beaten to death, and his dragon scales stood up one by one.

The following game became completely different. All the tower pushing and victory conditions were thrown out the window.

Kaido searched the entire map for the four attackers and fought them whenever he saw them.

"Stop right there!" he yelled into the phone, his fingers jabbing at the screen, making a "dong dong" sound.

Unfortunately, this reckless behavior caused his economy to fall further and further behind.

When the enemy pushed down the crystal, Kaido's record had become an ugly 0-12-3.

The moment the two big blood-red words "Defeat" jumped out, Kaido became furious.

"Damn it!!!" He threw the phone to the ground with such force that spider-web-like cracks appeared on the floor.

But the damn phone was intact, and the "Play Another Game" button was still flashing on the screen.

Kaido picked up his kanabo and smashed it at the phone on the ground.

"Clang! Clang!" The sound of metal collision echoed throughout the hall, sparks flew, but the phone didn't even have a scratch.

"Worororo...very good!" Kaido laughed in anger, and dragon scales appeared all over his body.

He suddenly transformed into a giant azure dragon, and with a flick of his tail he sent the phone flying into the air, then he opened his massive mouth: "Blast Breath!!!" The scorching dragon breath illuminated the night sky like daylight.

The phone flew up and down in the flames, but remained completely unharmed.

After venting his anger, Kaido transformed back into human form and fell back to the ground panting.

He picked up the phone that had fallen at his feet and found that it was 100% intact and had 100% battery. This made him feel strangely calm and he even began to appreciate the phone's durability.

"Hmph, I'll deal with you tomorrow." He muttered, stuffed his phone into his belt, and staggered toward the wine cellar.

Outside the hall, King and Queen looked at each other, totally confused as to why their boss was breathing fire at the sky tonight.

They stood in the shadow of the hall, looking at Kaido's angry and somewhat ridiculous figure, their hearts full of questions.

"King, what's wrong with the boss?" Queen asked in a low voice, with a hint of confusion in his tone.

"I don't know. He's been playing with his phone all day. I don't know what's so interesting about those videos."

King shook his head. He had been busy with various tasks the whole day and had no time to look at his phone. He was not interested in the videos and entertainment on it, so he had not paid any attention to it.
