Leo opened the Local Lord Channel.
[Hello? Anyone there?]
[Where are we?]
[What in the world is this?]
[Someone help me! If you help me get back, I'll support you for life! My family is rich!]
[What is this lord crap? Is this some prank?]
[Everyone calms down. I'm a police officer. We'll figure this out soon. Wait for the government announcement.]
[Police? Good! Help me first—my father is an official!]
[No, help me first! I'm an official too!]
After reading the chaotic messages, Leo sneered.
They still think this is some prank or kidnapping. They're not adapting at all.
He could already tell that many of them wouldn't survive the next few days.
Leo checked the total number of lords in the local chat:
[99,998 / 100,000]
Two fools had already died.
Only those who adapt quickly will survive.
After observing the Local Lord Chat Channel for a while, Leo had a rough idea of the situation.
But first, he had to strengthen his territory.
He opened the Building Section in the Lord Interface.
Territory Buildings:
Lord Mansion: Lv. 1
Summon Gate: Lv. 1
Trading Post: Not Constructed
Wooden House: Not Constructed
Leo decided to build the Trading Post first.
Trading might be vital. Even if most haven't adapted yet, some might just be waiting silently.
Trading Post Requirements:
100 Wood
20 Stone
He checked his inventory. The Novice Gift Pack had granted him 200 wood and 50 stones.
"Good, I have enough to build it."
He selected the Trading Post.
[Ding! Do you want to build the Trading Post?]
Requirements: 100 Wood, 30 Stone
[Yes] / [No]
Leo clicked Yes.
[Ding! The Trading Post is being built. ]
A bright light enveloped the selected location. As he waited, a thought crossed his mind.
Can I see my stats, too?
"Stats," Leo said quietly.
A window popped up:
[Name: Leo]
Profession: None
Type: Lord
Rank: 1
HP: 500 / 500
Attack: 1
Skills: None
Talent: Troop master (Unique)
"What? My attack is only 1? And I don't even have a class or any skills?"
"How do you even get one?"
Just then, the workers he had sent to gather resources came running back in a panic.
Seeing them, Leo stepped forward. "What happened?"
"My Lord! While we were gathering resources, we were attacked by a group of beasts! We only survived because you assigned Sir Liam and Sir Noah to protect us!"
Leo's expression turned grim.
Without guards, they would've been slaughtered.
He quickly gathered the three Swordsmen and led them toward the spot where the wolves had appeared.
As soon as he laid eyes on them, a new window appeared:
[Fang Wolf – rank 1]
HP: 500 / 500
Attack: 50
Description: Fang Wolves are fierce and agile predators. When there are 10 or more in a pack, their attack increases by 10%.
Rank 1 Fang Wolves…
Even with Emma and other two swordsmen, they were outnumbered.
What should I do? Wait one more day to summon 10 more Swordsmen? But that would waste valuable time...
Suddenly, an idea sparked in Leo's mind.
He turned to Emma. "Attack the wolves from inside the shield."
Emma nodded and moved to the edge of the protective barrier.
She slashed her sword forward—it passed through the shield as if it wasn't there and struck a wolf directly.
A red number floated above the beast:
–70 HP
Leo's eyes lit up.
I've found a way to deal with this wolf pack...
