After Shouta left the room to wander the building, Gurin rushed back inside.
Gurin: "Shouta!!"
But his brother was gone. Instead, a walkie-talkie lay on the table with a note attached: Pick it up.
Without hesitation, Gurin grabbed it and turned it on.
Gurin: "Shouta, where are you?"
Shouta: "Just out for a walk."
Gurin: "What about our plan?"
Shouta: "Forgot it. I have a better idea."
...
Meanwhile, Tadashi returned to the third floor.
Tadashi: "Find anything?"
Ayano: "Just a bit."
She had: 6, 4, and 1.
Tadashi: "Did you search all the rooms?"
Ayano: "Not yet."
Tadashi: "Great. We're in a mess."
Tadashi suddenly staggered, his back colliding with the wall.
Ayano: "Are you okay?"
Tadashi: "I'm fine. Change of plan. Go place them in the box."
Ayano: "What if Gurin finds me?"
Tadashi: "He won't. I threatened to kill his brother. He won't leave his side."
Ayano: "You what?!"
Tadashi: "Just go."
They left the room—Ayano heading downstairs, Tadashi climbing up.
But midway, Tadashi dropped to one knee, clutching his head as a sharp pain pierced through. He struggled to his feet—only to find Gurin standing in front of him.
Tadashi: "Worst timing..."
Gurin: "You look a little red."
Tadashi: "I don't have time for your stupid jokes."
Gurin: "Then maybe you've got time for a chase."
Gurin lunged forward. Tadashi turned and ran.
Despite his sluggish movements, Gurin couldn't catch up. Once Tadashi slipped out of sight, he took a moment to rest—but soon sensed someone behind him. Gurin again.
Another chase erupted. Tadashi eventually escaped to the sixth floor, slipping into a room to recover. But it didn't take long before he heard footsteps. The door creaked open—Gurin entered.
He scoured the room, then dropped to check under the bed—nothing.
Suddenly, Tadashi lunged from behind and shoved a bookshelf over.
Gurin: "Ugh!"
Tadashi slipped out again.
Tadashi: "How the hell does he keep finding me?"
Then it clicked. His eyes darted up—surveillance cameras lined the hallway ceiling.
…
Shouta: "Damn, he figured it out."
He muttered from the surveillance room.
Meanwhile, Gurin crawled out from under the fallen shelf and grabbed the walkie-talkie.
Gurin: "Where is he now?"
Shouta: "He's looking for me."
Gurin: "Stay there. I'm coming."
Shouta: "No point. He's just using me to keep you busy while his partner handles the real job. I'm leaving."
Gurin: "What about the girl?"
Shouta: "She was placing dice pieces while you were chasing him."
Gurin: "Wouldn't it have made more sense for me to go after her?"
Shouta: "I thought his partner had them. But she slipped into a room—I lost visual."
Gurin: "So now I have to—"
Shouta: "Exactly. Go get her."
