**Chapter 100: Meeting at the Tavern**
Returning to the Lar Family, I was told by Aunt Shali that they hadn't returned yet. Looking at the color of the sky now, it was already approaching dusk. The Tavern should also be nearing its most desolate time, right? Why haven't Lars and the others returned yet?
Out of curiosity, I rushed to the Rogue Tavern again. Just as I opened the door, waves of heat rushed towards me, scaring me so much I almost fled out the door. Damn it! What... what's going on? Could it be Divine Day today? It's already this late, how can there still be so much Excitement? I frowned and walked in. The entire Tavern was still bustling with noise, the sounds of shouting and yelling were like countless pile drivers operating on a construction site, making it deafening.
With effort, I squeezed open a path through the pile of human meat. I finally found a few familiar figures within the Crowd. There was nothing I could do; just like that line from Stephen Chow's movie, Doug's loud voice was like a firefly in the dark. Even inside the noisy Tavern, it was exceptionally conspicuous.
However, what was beyond my expectation was that besides Doug and Gus, there was actually another familiar person. It was Mardon, the Assassin who teamed up with us to hunt the Countess at the Tower. How could he be here? Seeing him together with Doug and the others, they were arguing fiercely with others, spitting everywhere as they talked non-stop. The Ale he held in his hand was being swung around excitedly.
The Assassin who least resembles an Assassin, the Barbarian who is too much like a Barbarian. They are indeed a wonderful pair.
"Hey, where are the others?"
Forcing myself to endure the mixed stench of noise and alcohol sweat, I came In Front of them and asked loudly with effort.
Although my voice was like a small boat in a stormy sea, it seemed insignificant in the Tavern. But at least it managed to attract their attention.
"Lars and the others are over there."
"The Boss and the others are over there."
To my surprise, Doug and Mardon both thought I was asking them. They actually turned their heads and said in unison, then stared at each other in surprise, with an expression that said, "Oh, you know them too?" It really felt a bit like 'a squinting turtle meeting a mung bean'.
"Alright. You guys have fun." Patting their shoulders, I didn't want to stay here for another moment. I immediately headed in the direction they pointed, which was towards the second Zone of the Rogue Tavern. This place was the Paradise for most Druids and Paladins. Given their gentle and polite personalities, they naturally wouldn't be as noisy as the first Zone just now. However, it was also full of people at this time. Some were even standing together in circles, talking and laughing softly about something; it quite had the flavor of a banquet.
After looking around, I quickly saw Lars and the others. Just as I expected, Druv and Yihana were also sitting with him. When I saw Mardon and Doug walking together, I already had this Idea.
"Hi, everyone." I walked forward and greeted them with a smile. The three people, seeing their Friend arrive, immediately stood up in unison.
"Wu, you're here." This was Lars.
"Dear Wu, we meet again." This was Druv and Yihana.
I surveyed the three people who were looking at each other in confusion and didn't know what to do, with a smile. Hehe, after that scene with Doug, I already knew this situation would happen.
Besides these three people, sitting at this table, there was also the Paladin named Sak whom I met on the fifth floor of the Tower last time, leading his several Teammates sitting together. Although there were no seats left, this table was still relatively spacious. Before long, a Waiter brought over a Chair and a Cup of golden low-alcohol Ale and placed it In Front of me.
Lars and Druv and the others clearly hadn't expected that everyone actually knew each other. Of course, I was also quite curious about the relationship between Lars and Druv. Before long, amidst everyone's talking and laughing, the entire relationship was finally sorted out clearly.
My relationship with Lars and the others is beyond doubt. After Transmigrating to the Blood Moor, they saved me and Teachings me Combat Skills, holding the Status of both teacher, Friend, and benefactor. Lars is also my future nominal Father-in-law. As for Druv and the others, we Slahsed the Countess together at the Tower and also formed a very deep friendship. Of course, the Matter of the Evil Cave was never mentioned again between us. After all, it wasn't a Matter that gave either side Face/Reputation, so let it be forgotten in the river of History.
As for Lars and Druv, they had known each other for a long time. The two of them studied together in the Training Camp, and their relationship was quite good. And Druv had a Job Promotion a few months earlier than Lars, so strictly speaking, he was Lars's senior. As for Sak, although he was also a Student from the same period, Lars basically had no interaction with him. However, with Druv taking the lead, they now Get Along quite well with each other.
"I heard you, kid, made quite a splash in the Magic Training Camp this morning. Now Students from other Training Camps, even many Mercenaries and Class Changers, all regret not going to the Training Ground this morning, missing out on a valuable Experience."
Lars, sitting next to me, said with an envious expression while patting my shoulder. News spreads quickly in the Rogue Encampment, especially in a Tavern where gossip is most concentrated. It wasn't surprising that Lars knew.
"That's right! I even regret it a bit now. If I had known earlier, even if I had dropped everything, I would have gone to the Training Ground. I didn't expect to have missed such a rare opportunity."
Druv also followed up and said. His personality was relatively strict and self-disciplined; he didn't speak as casually as Lars, always giving people a very serious and thoughtful Tone, which made me feel a bit embarrassed. Speaking of being Rich/Abundant in Experience, I couldn't even compare to him, a Class Changer who had walked step by step.
"Not at all, I just had better Luck, that's all. Speaking of Experience, how could I possibly compare to you guys?"
"Haha, Wu, no need to be modest. Everyone's experiences are different, therefore, there will always be some Experience from others that one doesn't know, or has its unique aspects. Especially a lone Adventurer like you is unique in the entire Rogue Encampment and is extremely valuable to any Adventurer."
After saying this sentence, Druv, who was usually very serious, suddenly looked left and right as if he were a thief, before lowering his Voice and continuing to speak: "Of course, except for Lady Sharna, but, I think no one would have the Guts to ask her for Teachings, right?"
Seeing Druv, who was a top Class Changer in the Rogue Encampment with extremely high prestige, looking cautious when talking about Sharna, I felt for the first time that the Sister Sharna in my heart, who always carried a faint mischievous smile and took pleasure in bullying me, was such a terrifying Existence in the hearts of others.
"Oh, is that so? Then when I have time, I'll tell you guys about it too. Just don't laugh at me!" I took a sip of Ale, licking the foam remaining on my lips. Although I had Get Along with them for a period of time at the Tower, given the environment at the time, we only reviewed Tactics and gains and losses and didn't talk about our personal experiences.
"Really? Then we must have a good chat another day."
Druv said with a happy expression. He didn't feel that because he was High-Level than me, asking me for advice would lower his Status. He was indeed a practical person. As for Lars, when I usually chatted with the three of them, I had already told them long ago, and the Matter about Light Snow and the others, I had also told them long ago, except for that Bugged Amulet.
"Oh, right, isn't it approaching dusk now? Why are there still so many people?" I looked at my Surroundings and found that the Crowd hadn't decreased at all, but instead had a tendency to continue increasing.
"That's natural. Yesterday, Lady Kashya already assigned the groups. Soon everyone will go to the places they are stationed at to fight. Before leaving, of course they have to come here to have some fun." Lars said with a tone of course.
After hearing Lars's words, I remained silent. Looking at the people around me, drinking Ale in big gulps, hugging shoulders, happily laughing, singing, and dancing, but who truly understood what they were thinking inside? After all, most people weren't as confident as Experts like us. In this Monster attack, how many people here would survive, and how many would disappear forever? No one knew their own future. Seize the day was their only Idea/Thought right now.
"That's right. We should be grateful, shouldn't we?" I said something nonsensical, but those present nodded in empathy. They all raised their Cups and drank the Ale inside in one gulp.
"Oh, right, Uncle Lar, didn't you say you were coming to find some partners? Could it be that Druv and you guys are also stationed at Vita Village? It couldn't be such a coincidence, right!"
"Exactly."
Lars snapped his fingers and said happily, "And Druv is also the Team Leader Responsible for Vita Village this time, haha, isn't that a coincidence?"
"Oh!"
Hearing this, I was also startled, but then I suddenly had a Realization. Indeed, not to mention Druv's Strength/Power as an 18th-level Paladin, just his steady and reliable personality was also well-known in the entire Rogue Encampment. Becoming one of the Team Leaders among the ten Squads was not inappropriate at all. In my opinion, if their Squad didn't only have three people, and their overall Strength/Power was slightly insufficient, even joining the Special Action Squad would be more than enough.
As for him being Responsible for the garrisoning of Vita Village, then I can only say, everything is a coincidence. This way, almost everyone I knew was concentrated in the same Village. Fate/Destiny, ah Fate/Destiny.
"Oh, right, where is Sister Sharna? Has she returned?" Speaking of people I knew, I suddenly thought of her.
"Lady Sharna hasn't returned. She is currently undergoing Trial alone in the Cemetery. There aren't many Adventurers who can undergo Trial there, so it's very likely she hasn't received the notification yet. It seems she will miss this battle." Druv said with some regret.
