Riku's muscles trembled under the strain of Kaioken. Red energy cracked and flared violently around him, his body tensing as if on the verge of tearing itself apart. Every heartbeat sounded like thunder in his ears. He stared down the grinning monstrosity across from him—a cursed spirit that defied logic.
It stood tall and hunched, its grotesque frame covered in patchy, armored skin that pulsed with dark energy. Its limbs were long and jagged, ending in clawed fingers that twitched erratically. Spines jutted from its back, and twin horns twisted upward from its temples like gnarled branches. Its face, if it could be called that, bore too many eyes—layered like insectoid lenses—and a maw that grinned too wide, revealing hundreds of fine, needle-like teeth. Saliva dripped from its mouth in thick strands, sizzling as it hit the dirt.
Riku's eyes narrowed. 'If I think about this reasonably… this shouldn't be fucking possible. There was never a curse like this in JJK. If something this fast and strong existed at Special Grade 1, it would've been labeled an anomaly. But nothing…'
His instincts screamed. No more hesitation.
He surged forward—flash step erupting beneath him—and launched his fist at the curse's chest. The cursed spirit blurred into motion, just as fast, and they collided mid-air, the sound of the impact cracking through the forest like lightning.
Riku grabbed its arm, spun mid-air, and planted both feet into its face. The blow launched the spirit sideways, ripping through several trees.
He landed, smirking. "How do you like dem apples, fucker?"
Before the dust could settle, Riku shifted into a fluid mixture of Kung Fu and Karate. He sprinted toward the recovering curse. It stood, its face still twisted in that maddening grin, and raised its arm.
Bone Lance Generation.
A white spike jutted out of its wrist like a javelin and launched straight at Riku. He twisted sideways, narrowly dodging it—but another bone lance burst from the ground beneath his feet. He flipped back, just dodging it, and cursed.
The curse was moving again.
Hyper-Speed Movement.
It was in front of him before he could blink. A blur of claws, bone, and cursed energy rained down on him. Riku blocked with his forearms, Armament Haki reinforcing them, but even then, the blows rattled his bones.
He ducked low, twisted, and countered with a sharp elbow to its ribs, followed by a Muay Thai knee to the chest. It absorbed the hits and retaliated with an uppercut.
He barely dodged. It wasn't just strong—it was learning.
Multi-Layer Cursed Perception.
It was reading his moves, tracking his techniques, reacting.
"Shit," Riku muttered, spitting blood. He dropped into a Panantukan stance, movements sharp and compact, aiming to bait the curse. He feinted a right hook—then used Echo Delay.
The curse's fist smashed into his shoulder. Pain exploded through him. But three seconds later, its own arm bent backward unnaturally as the delayed force of Riku's earlier punch struck home. The spirit stumbled, stunned.
Riku grinned. "Yeah. Got you, bitch."
But the smile faded as the curse crouched low, flexed, and then vanished.
It reappeared behind him—faster than before—and this time it didn't strike directly. Instead, black tendrils shot from its shadow like spears.
Shadow Stitching.
One tendril grazed his ankle, slowing him just enough for the curse to appear before him again.
Reverse Tracking.
It anticipated his dodge before he even moved. A bone lance drove into his side.
"Agh—!"
He crashed into a boulder, splitting it apart, blood splattering across the stones.
'He's adapting… and he's fast enough to counter even my reflections. This thing isn't just strong—it's growing mid-fight, just like me.'
Riku wiped blood from his mouth and activated Inspect again.

Riku's heart pounded. 'So it's not invincible. I just need to be faster… stronger…'
He breathed in.
"Kaioken… TIMES TWO!"
The red aura erupted around him with a roar. His muscles screamed, the weight of the power threatening to tear him apart, but he held on. He pushed forward, shooting into the air.
Then he did something insane.
He reached out with cursed energy and reflected gravity around himself—stopping mid-air.
He hung above the cursed spirit, red aura flaring like fire.
He flipped downward, raising his leg overhead.
The cursed spirit snarled, leapt upward, and cocked back its arm for a punch.
They collided mid-air—Riku's heel against the curse's fist. A shockwave exploded, sending wind screaming through the trees.
They both crashed down, but Riku rolled and recovered, coughing blood. His Kaioken strained him further. His skin cracked in some places. But the curse now had a fractured horn and a small break in its ribcage.
And for the first time… its grin faltered.
Riku laughed, blood dripping from his chin.
"What's wrong? Losing your smile?"
They both charged again. The final clash was brutal—fists slamming into ribs, knees shattering bone, elbows cracking skull.
Riku mixed every style he knew—Kung Fu's flow, Karate's precision, Panantukan's brutality, Muay Thai's knees and elbows. And slowly, he adapted to the curse's rhythm.
He began to reflect more and more attacks. Echo Delay struck home multiple times.
The spirit struck back harder.
Blood flew. Teeth cracked. Trees shattered. The ground crumbled.
By the end, both were panting. Riku's Kaioken flickered—his limit nearing.
But the curse… had stopped smiling entirely.
And that, more than anything, made Riku grin.
"…Let's finish this."

As you can tell this isn't the normal JJK universe. Anyways how do you guys like the fight scene? Let me know if there are any mistakes because I woke up earlier than normal to write this.
