The sky was overcast, painted in shades of grey. A cold wind swept across the open countryside. Amid the silence, a man walked slowly — his body still wrapped in bandages. His mask was gone, revealing a scarred face shadowed by painful memories.
"Yo, Niko."
The voice echoed from the rooftop of an abandoned house. Jeison Hoshizora stood there, his silver hair glinting under the cloudy sky, wearing a wide grin like someone who had seen through the world's lies.
Nikoza looked up. "Jeison Hoshizora…"
In his mind: "Damn it… why is he here? I'm still healing. Should I run… or face him?"
Jeison descended slowly, his hands clasped behind his back.
"I know everything, Niko."
"What are you talking about…?"
Jeison's grin deepened. "You were sent back in time, right? To protect that 'special boy'."
Nikoza's eyes widened. "How… how do you know?!"
A dark blue-black aura began to pulse from Jeison's body. The wind howled. The sky darkened even more — as if nature itself sensed the coming storm.
"No need to pretend, Niko. I've been aware of your mission all along. And now…"
Jeison lifted his hand toward the heavens.
"Eclipse Singularity – Phase Zero."
A massive eclipse formed above them. Everything nearby — rocks, leaves, even the very air — was pulled toward the swirling vortex of energy at Jeison's command.
"Final technique: Eclipse Singularity – Void Collapse!"
BOOOOM!!!
A cosmic blast exploded from the heart of the eclipse, erasing everything in a flash. Light vanished. Sound disappeared. All that remained was an eerie, endless silence.
Nikoza's body was thrown like a ragdoll. His clothes were torn, his body bloodied, his breathing shallow.
"What is he… a monster…?"
Jeison walked forward, unhurried, with no emotion in his eyes.
"Get up, Niko. We're not finished. I haven't asked the most important question yet… Who exactly is Hiro?"
Nikoza trembled. His knees gave out. Blood streamed from where his arm once was. Jeison loomed over him — not like a man, but a reaper cloaked in shadows.
"Answer me, Nikoza. Who sent you through time?"
But Nikoza only let out a weak, defiant chuckle.
"You think… I'd tell you…?"
Using his last bit of strength, he spat defiantly — right at Jeison's face.
"Tch... how pathetic."
Jeison wiped his face calmly, then raised his hand once again to the dark sky.
"Eclipse Singularity: Oblivion Breaker."
An overwhelming force burst forth. The very fabric of space trembled — wind, light, sound — all sucked into a singularity forming inches from Nikoza's chest.
"W-What… is this…?"
"Farewell, Nikoza."
BAAAAAANG!!!
No sound. Just a flash of blinding white before everything was swallowed by darkness once more.
Nikoza's body hit the ground with a sickening thud. Motionless.
His eyes cracked open slightly. Blood dripped from his lips. His vision was dim, fading fast.
"Heh… you're strong… Jeison…"
His breathing slowed.
"Hiro… Satou… don't let this world… fall into their hands…"
Darkness.
Silence.
