Chapter 33 - Chapter 32: The Library of Endings

> "To fight the editors, she must enter their story."

---

The world twisted.

One moment, Yui stood before the red-robed Editor. The next, she was falling through a rift that felt like a torn paragraph. Words streamed past her—unwritten phrases, lost thoughts, broken outlines.

When she landed, the world was silent… and endless.

Shelves taller than mountains surrounded her, filled with glowing books. Some vibrated softly, while others were locked in cold iron chains.

A single sign hovered above the central aisle:

A Dangerous Welcome

A whisper echoed through the shelves.

> "Unauthorized plotline… detected."

Dozens of figures stepped out of the margins—living edits. Their bodies were paper-thin, their fingers quills, their mouths stitched into silent warnings. These were the Red Margins, censors made flesh.

Yui backed away—but a faint voice whispered from her quill:

> "They only erase what's forgotten. Remember who you are."

She gritted her teeth and focused.

> "Ink… Ignite."

The white quill burst into flame—and the Red Margins recoiled.

A Familiar Voice

As Yui sprinted through the endless archives, a cloaked figure intercepted her.

> "You're not supposed to be here."

The figure pulled back their hood—revealing Elias, the mysterious factionless mage who had vanished early in her journey.

> "You died in Chapter 6," Yui gasped.

> "I was edited out. But I found my way back."

He handed her a book—familiar, battered, with her handwriting on the cover.

> "Whispers of the Forgotten."

> "They're targeting you because you rewrote the canon," Elias said. "But there's a loophole. A chapter they missed. You just have to finish it."

> "What is it?"

He smiled grimly.

> "Your original ending. Before you reincarnated. Before they deleted it."
