After about ten minutes of the group discussing battle tactics and potential threats, Kael had already slipped into a light sleep, his head resting against the chair.
Max glanced over at him.
"Shouldn't we wake him up? He's our main attack powerhouse."
Cynthia rolled her eyes but smiled softly.
"Let him sleep. My man needs his beauty rest."
Ten minutes later, Cynthia gently nudged Kael's shoulder.
"Wake up. We're about to teleport down."
Everyone else was already on their feet, alert and ready.
She raised her voice as the ambient hum of the plane intensified.
"We're going to be teleported to the ground below in… 3… 2… 1!"
Before Kael could fully gather his senses, the world around him warped and twisted.
Moments later, he found himself standing in the middle of a vast forest the Elowen Forest along with his group members.
