"What's going on here?" A man in his sixties, Director Su, walked out.
Tang San and Ao Tian hadn't bothered lowering their voices during their exchange. Director Su, who was quite strong himself, had heard their tense conversation loud and clear.
As soon as he stepped out, he saw Tang San, along with a small child whose back was facing him.
"Tang San, it's only your first day at school, and you're already trying to break the rules? Do you want me to call your father?"
Director Su's voice was stern.
Tang San had no choice but to give up on teaching Ao Tian a lesson. He shot Ao Tian a deep look and turned to leave.
"That kid is seriously lacking manners," Director Su muttered.
He looked down at the small figure of Ao Tian, reached out to pat his head, and said, "You're here to enroll too, right? Come on in."
Ao Tian, as if he had eyes on the back of his head, dodged the hand and turned around.
"You…" Director Su was momentarily speechless, stunned by Ao Tian's appearance.
In his sixty-plus years of life, he had never seen a child this beautiful.
It wasn't until Ao Tian entered the office that Director Su snapped out of it and hurried after him.
Inside the office, two young teachers who had been chatting immediately went silent upon seeing Ao Tian, their eyes glued to him.
"How can a kid be this good-looking?" one of them couldn't help but say.
Director Su bent down, beaming, and said, "Little friend, hand me your certificate."
His attitude was clearly much more enthusiastic than when he had received Tang San earlier.
Ao Tian handed over his Martial Spirit Awakening Certificate.
Director Su took it and returned to his seat, his eyes scanning the document.
The two young teachers, clearly intrigued by Ao Tian, also gathered around.
The moment they saw Ao Tian's innate spirit power level, all three of them involuntarily gasped, eyes wide with shock.
Innate Full Spirit Power! Yet another one with Innate Full Spirit Power!
What's more, his martial spirit was something called a Golden Dragon.
They had never heard of a Golden Dragon Spirit, but anything with "dragon" in the name had to be extraordinary.
Among beast spirits, dragon-type spirits were the strongest, with the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Spirit being hailed as the most powerful beast martial spirit.
There were a few other dragon-type spirits, not quite as strong as the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon, but still very formidable.
The teachers knew all the dragon-type spirits of Douluo Continent, but they had never heard of a Golden Dragon, leading them to suspect it was a previously unseen mutated spirit.
At that thought, all three teachers couldn't contain their excitement.
"Ao Tian, can we take a look at your martial spirit?" Director Su asked.
Ao Tian nodded, and a phantom golden dragon materialized behind him through his divine power.
The teachers' eyes lit up, their bodies trembling slightly with excitement.
"As expected, it's a powerful beast spirit! I never thought I'd get to witness such a strong martial spirit in person," one of the young men said enthusiastically.
In a small town like Notting City, powerful individuals and rare martial spirits were scarce. This was their first time seeing something so extraordinary.
The faint pressure emanating from the phantom golden dragon left them in awe.
Then one of the teachers frowned and said, "Director Su, look... why doesn't this Golden Dragon look like a dragon? It kind of looks like a snake with claws."
"Hmm, it really doesn't look like a dragon," another young teacher chimed in.
Although none of them had seen a dragon spirit in person, they knew dragon spirits usually had wings and resembled lizards.
Director Su said, "Since the certificate from Spirit Hall says it's a Golden Dragon, it must be a dragon-type spirit. I suspect it's a mutated form, which is why it looks more like a snake."
Ao Tian was speechless. He was the real Divine Dragon! Those winged lizards were nothing compared to him.
When he had descended on this planet and grown from weak to the strongest being, he had never seen any winged lizards. They probably only appeared after he went into slumber.
The three teachers stared at Ao Tian with starry eyes—Director Su in particular was practically drooling.
"Ao Tian, you don't have a teacher yet, right? How about taking me as your master?" Director Su said eagerly.
If he could take Ao Tian as his disciple, then once Ao Tian became famous, his own name would go down in history as well.
And when Ao Tian rose to greatness, Director Su would surely reap many benefits. Fame and fortune—who could resist such temptation?
Ao Tian shook his head and said, "Sorry, I don't plan to take a teacher here at Notting Academy."
"Why not?" Director Su asked, clearly disappointed.
Ao Tian replied, "You all said it yourselves—spirit masters can only take one teacher in their lifetime. With my talent, I'm sure to attend an intermediate or even advanced academy. Why not wait until then and find a more powerful teacher? That would be much better for my cultivation."
Of course, Ao Tian never intended to take a teacher at all. No one was qualified to be his teacher. So, he made up a reason to get rid of the topic.
He figured that after saying this, no other teachers would bother him.
Director Su sighed and said, "You're right. That was selfish of me."
He handed over the new student materials and a uniform to Ao Tian, saying,
"Here's your stuff. You'll be staying in Dorm Room Seven. Go on—there will be a teacher there to receive you and assign your work-study duties."
Ao Tian took the items and said thank you.
Just then, a clear and sweet voice came from outside.
"Excuse me, is this where we enroll?"
Ao Tian turned to see a petite and adorable young girl standing at the doorway, curiously peeking inside.
She looked about the same age as Tang San, a little shorter than Ao Tian, with rosy cheeks and tender skin like a freshly peeled egg.
A long scorpion braid hung down to her waist, and her big eyes sparkled with life.
Her clothes were simple but very neat.
Everyone in the office, including Ao Tian, felt instantly refreshed by her presence, surprised by her cuteness.
"Little girl, yes, this is the enrollment office. Are you here to sign up too?" Director Su said kindly.
Ao Tian had a strange look in his eyes. He immediately recognized that this girl wasn't human—or at least not a true human.
Under his gaze, her soul beast aura was completely exposed.
"Xiao Wu," Ao Tian said inwardly.
He hadn't expected to run into Xiao Wu here.
He no longer felt like leaving and stepped aside to watch.
"Yes, Grandpa, I'm here to enroll too," Xiao Wu said, skipping happily into the room.
Director Su chuckled and said, "Hand me your certificate."
Xiao Wu obediently handed over her martial spirit certificate. No one knew where she had even gotten it from.
When the three teachers saw Xiao Wu's certificate, they gasped again.
Innate Full Spirit Power—again!
All three of them were stunned. After a long pause, one young teacher exclaimed,
"What is going on today? That's three students in a row with Innate Full Spirit Power. Did we step into some kind of fantasy?"
Director Su sighed regretfully, "What a shame the spirit is a rabbit. It's a bit stronger than that Blue Silver Grass, but most rabbit spirits are weak when it comes to offense."
Xiao Wu didn't seem to mind the teacher's commentary. Her large eyes blinked curiously as she looked around the office.
When she saw Ao Tian standing to the side with his uniform, her eyes lit up and she trotted over.
