"Y-You do have an Attribute."
Sunny looked as Cassie worked her ability to whatever she was seeing. But knowing that Percy had an Attribute was good in itself.
Actually, that was for the best. It, in itself, explained a lot of things. Like, how he got a memory and was even able to give it to him.
However,
'Isn't there a need for some physical contact to transfer memory from one person to another?'
Besides, having an Attribute meant that he was indeed a human. Not that the piece of information made him ease around the boy to any extent.
Sunny still did not trust him at all.
"…No! You have more than one. But something is different about those."
Every person after the trial of the Nightmare gets an Attribute. And that attribute is tied to the true nature of that person. Therefore, telling a lot about him.
A person having more than one Attribute is not even unheard of. There are quite a lot of people who have more than one Attributes. Not that, they wander around telling others that they have many of those.
Sunny himself had more than one Attribute. So, he was not surprised by that information.
He was more interested in what Cassie was going to say after that.
"You Attributes are in shambles. You do not have a complete one. …It is like they are forming right now as we speak. Just very slowly."
"I have never seen anything like this ever before."
"…It is related to water, I think. That is all I can tell."
The discovery did not make Percy react in any manner. He was just unresponsive to whatever Cassie had said. Or more like, it did not matter to him.
"Hah, I guessed as much." Percy sighed and leaned back till his back touched the ground. And, then he kept lying there for a good minute before saying what he had already said more than once.
"I have said it before, yet I will say it again. I do not know any of you, neither this Nightmare spell, nor anything related to this world that you live in. I am not of here."
Saying this, Percy sat upright. His hands now crossed over his knees in a leisure manner.
Yet to Sunny's eyes, he seemed more frightening than ever before.
His hands were trembling. Not in fear. No, definitely not in fear. A barely controlled rage was all that Sunny felt from him.
And, that alone was not the only indication. As words kept coming out of his mouth, his breathing grew heavier and heavier. Like even such an action required great effort from him to practice.
Right after started talking, he had clenched his teeth, and every word that came out of his mouth was like the grating of iron.
But those eyes. Sunny looked at his eyes, and knew at that very instant that death resided in those.
They were even glowing in the broad daylight like lamplights.
'Calm down…Calm down… No need to get angry.'
"S-Some things …happened. And I have ended up in a place that I should not be at. I am not from here. As far as my eyes can see, I am certain that I have not even dreamed of this place ever before."
This time, Percy had a solemn look on his face, and a hint of confusion.
'Is he more concerned about being here, or that he did not dream of this place before?'
Sunny could not understand this boy at all.
"…Dreams?" Sunny unintentionally said the word out loud.
Percy eyes turned to his.
"Yes. Dreams, visions, or some other insight."
The last statement did invite the curiosity of Cassie towards the boy. And, she grew to be even more puzzled regarding all the matters that concerned the boy.
"You are a seer?"
Percy looked at the girl with wide eyes for a while, and scoffed as if the very thought of it was entertaining.
"I am definitely not. But there are times when I have visions that help me in …tough times. Those are like the ability that you have, and told us about. The ones that I have are just rarer, and that is for the better."
"Why?"
"It means that Gods do not want to see me causing even more trouble, I guess."
