For a moment, the grove fell silent.
Then Asha stepped forward, tears glistening in her crimson eyes.
Asha (smiling softly):
"You're such a fool, Jon. But you're my fool. I already gave you my heart, and I'll give it again… in this life and the next."
She hugged him tightly, and Jon held her close.
Satsuki approached slowly, her cheeks flushed pink. Her slanted hazel eyes softened as she looked between them.
Satsuki:
"I always thought duty meant holding back… But I realized something being around you. Love can be duty too."
She placed her hand on Jon's chest.
Satsuki:
"If Asha is willing, then so am I. I… love you, Jon."
Jon pulled them both close. Their warmth surrounded him. His past, filled with shadows and pain, was finally being replaced with something whole.
Above them, the sacred tree glowed brighter. And within the spirit wind, a whisper:
Dryas (softly):
"Then let the spirits bless what hearts have chosen."
