The Spiritfolk village basked in the calm of a gentle afternoon. Sunlight streamed through the thick canopy, casting golden flecks of warmth over the elven woodwork and tree-homes nestled high in the boughs. Jon Snow stood outside Asha's family home, a soft smile on his face as he cradled his daughters, Lyanna and Jinora, each gently wrapped in soft silk.
SatSuki sat nearby, slicing fruit with practiced grace, while Asha leaned her head on Jon's shoulder, her fluffy rabbit ears twitching from the occasional coo of the babies. For the first time in many moons, Jon felt peace. Family. Belonging.
But that peace was stirred when a Spiritfolk scout dashed toward him from the village gates.
Scout (urgent):
"Jon Snow—there are two strangers at the gate. One claims to know you. The other… said his name is Samwell."
Jon's heart stopped.
Jon:
"Sam?"
His voice was barely a whisper, but Asha and SatSuki noticed the tremor.
He handed the babies gently to Asha and stood, his body moving on instinct.

At the village gates, Samwell fidgeted nervously, his new elven body still unfamiliar. Beside him, Benjen stood tall, exuding a calm presence despite his alert, wolfen features.
The gates opened—and there he stood.
Jon Snow.
Long silver hair, faintly pointed ears, violet eyes tinged with sadness and wisdom far beyond his years. And yet… it was undeniably him.
Samwell choked back a sob.
Sam:
"J-Jon?"
Jon's feet moved before his mind could catch up. He rushed forward, and the two friends crashed into a tearful embrace.
Jon (voice shaking):
"Sam… is it really you?"
Sam (weeping):
"I thought I'd never see you again…"
Behind them, Benjen approached slowly. Jon stepped back from Sam, his eyes locking with the man he'd once called uncle.
Jon:
"Uncle…?"
Benjen gave a half-smile, his wolf ears twitching slightly.
Benjen:
"You've grown, Jon."
Jon's expression cracked as he stepped forward and pulled Benjen into a tight embrace, gripping him like a son reunited with his father.
Jon (softly):
"I thought you were lost forever…"
Benjen (gruffly):
"So did I."
