Chapter 13 - Luna Other Soul (2)

She was confused. Why did her body feel so weak? It wasn't hers—or rather, it didn't feel like the body she remembered.

The last memory she could clearly recall was being sealed in the moon. The ones responsible for her imprisonment? Vague. Too vague, like fogged glass on a rainy morning. Everything else was blurry, fragmented like pieces of a broken mirror scattered across time.

Her cold, detached gaze fell on me. There was no warmth in those eyes—just an eerie calm that sent a chill down my spine. Yet beneath that icy exterior was turmoil, and I could sense it.

She Suddenly receive a bit of the memories of the Owner of this body, the life she had lived. Every detail, every emotion, every breath. And as she looked at me, the guy standing awkwardly in front of her, her feelings grew complicated.

Within her—deep, deep within—Luna's true self stirred. She was fighting back, struggling to regain control. The two souls, like opposing tides in a stormy sea, were clashing fiercely. I felt it—a soul battle, dangerous and volatile. If they continued like this, they'd destroy each other.

I acted without hesitation.

I lunged forward, pinning her to the ground gently but firmly, her arms above her head. "Sorry about this," I muttered, trying to ignore the awkwardness of the position. "Desperate times."

Luna's alter ego remained expressionless, nonchalant even, but I could feel the pain radiating from her. Pain that wasn't physical. Soul-deep agony. I placed my hand on her belly—her eyes widened in surprise, momentarily caught off guard.

"Found you," I whispered, not to her... but to the true Luna buried inside.

In that instant, I projected my consciousness inward, diving into the depths of her soul. A vast, endless whiteness greeted me. Within that ethereal plane, I found Luna—her real self—teary-eyed and trembling, looking at me with the most adorable expression of fear and confusion.

My heart softened. She looked so cute, like a kitten caught in the rain. For a moment, I almost wanted to tease her, to tell her she was stuck with me now. But I shook my head. No time for jokes. Not when something else was here.

Another presence. An ancient soul—radiating violet light—floated nearby, pulsing with a strange energy. Luna, still in her true form, was punching it with surprising force, like a furious child trying to fight a boulder. I winced and quickly stepped in.

"Hey! Stop punching that thing!"

Startled, she froze. Her eyes lit up when she heard my voice, and she immediately ceased her attack. Outside, her physical expression softened, the pain fading. The coldness in her eyes remained, but the Fight paused.

Returning to the real world, I began explaining things.

"There's... another version of you inside. I know it sounds insane, but you're sharing this body. Your soul... It's anomaly, something i don't get Luna is the original self, and you... well... you."

She blinked, her detached expression was confused then suddenly her expression turned too a complex one

Before I could continue, I felt a sharp pain explode in my gut. She had kicked me. A hard, clean strike directly to my stomach that knocked the wind out of me. I stumbled back, coughing up a bit of saliva.

Still coughing, I noted something odd. That wasn't a normal kick—it was imbued with something. A fusion of spell and skill. Which didn't make sense.

In this world, Mages used spells. Knights used skills. One person could only wield one or the other. Yet she had used both… in the same move.

I stood and activated a technique. "Dark Prison."

A large black barrier surged around her, forming an obsidian dome. She blinked in surprise. "You didn't use mana," she murmured. "No magic. What is this?"

Then Suddenly she was remembering something Slowly.

She was a 17-year-old girl. Lived in poverty. Taken and used as a weapon—no, a puppet. She'd spent the last ten years fighting wars, slaying monsters, a lifetime of violence compressed into a childhood. She had become numb to emotion, hardened like steel.

She didn't remember how she was sealed—only that someone, or something, did it.

She still had all her combat experience, though. Her body moved like a warrior's, her instincts razor-sharp. But before she could act again, I raised my voice, lacing it with authority.

"Stop—or I'll have Luna attack your soul again."

A flicker of suprise on Her expression remained aloof, but she nodded. "Fine What do you want?"

I sighed. "Why did you kick me?"

"Because this body i could feel several emotions Looking at you i wasn't use too emotions it felt uncomfortable" She spoke with an ice-cold bluntness that could slice steel.

I deactivated the technique, releasing her from the prison, and Talk inside going in her soul Finding Luna and finally i saw her

With mix emotions

her emotions were a swirling storm. She could feel the soul in front of her it was cold, empty—so cold that it sent a shiver down her spine.

She snaps back when i came back my voice was in a hurry as i explained everything that is happening...

Finally, things calmed down when i explained her what's happening

Luna Alter ego The body memories came flooding in again. She was a maid—my personal maid, apparently. Rumors had called me a scumbag noble, but she knew the truth now. I wasn't so bad. In fact, maybe... kind?

i snapped out myself going back to reality.

Then speaks "Switched back too Luna can you?"

She sat down, her gaze blank. "I don't want to go back to that black place."

She looked up. "I'm not switching back..."

My eyes tweetch feeling a headache

Inside, Luna's true Self somehow was able too see the outside perspective and saw the three of us

As a former cultivator in my past life, I had once reached Nascent Soul stage. I could sense souls, even now.

I squinted at the air. Luna's alter ego tilted her head, confused by where I was staring.

"You don't see her?" I asked. Then I turned to her and gently tapped her forehead. "i gave her some of my sense too see The soul of Luna"

A flash of light, and her eyes widened. She could see Luna now—floating in the air like a translucent spirit. Both girls locked eyes.

"What should we call you?" I asked.

Luna's true self, still floating midair, smiled shyly. "How about we call her Moon?"

Her alter ego—now dubbed Moon—didn't argue. She just gave a small nod.

And just like that, we had a deal.

Few hours passed...

From now on, Luna would take control during the day. Moon would take the night. When one controlled the body, the other would watch as a soul-spectator—visible only to me, and now, to each other.

Just then, Seo finally woke up with a yawn—and a smug smile.

His squirrelly body emitted faint Qi, Showing he had made his Demonic Core squirrel. He blinked up at us, confused.

"Why does Luna look... weird?" he asked groggily.

I leaned down and tapped his little forehead too. "There. Now you can see."

He looked up again. And his jaw dropped. There they were—two Lunas. One aloof and cold, the other floating midair with teary eyes and a soft smile.

He blinked then Moon spoke tilting her head innocently "A Talking Squirrel?"
