Chapter 75 - 75

I couldn't help but smile as I knocked on the door despite my exhaustion, which was mostly mental, with a generous amount of frustration mixed in.

At least, I managed to do what I wanted … and now, it was time to get my reward.

It took a while for the door to open — magically — and the moment it opened, I saw the candidate I had championed for.

Professor Aurora.

"Hello, Professor," I said even as I took a step forward, glad that it was the time to focus on her once more. Not because she was beautiful but because she gave me an excellent lever to truly target Lily Potter, who seemed to have a shocking grudge toward her.

Maybe I should dig it today.

Of course, that didn't mean she wasn't beautiful. She certainly was, her cold attitude and regal beauty making me think how Daphne would have looked in twenty years — only brunette instead of blonde.

"S-student Malfoy," she stammered as I closed the door behind me, her expression shifting but easy to read.

"I'm guessing you have heard why you were picked for the role," I said.

She nodded hesitantly, though the way she did showed that she was yet to come to terms with our latest face-to-face encounter. "It looks like you were the one that put me as a candidate for this … exalted position. I received a letter that strongly suggested for me to follow your suggestions," she said, looking confused and slightly resentful.

"Yes, that's the gist," I said, enjoying the way her expression turned into slight anger while she processed my easy admission of positioning her as a puppet.

She wasn't as meek when her professional sensibilities were concerned.

I walked toward her, as if I was trying to decide what to do. She said nothing. Halfway in, I removed my wand, and slowly cast several spells that would catch eavesdropping charms and other inconvenient spells.

There were none, of course. After losing a nice chunk of their number, Death Eaters were too busy controlling her, hence the reason they shuffled the task to me.

The objective was to make sure she had seen it.

"What was that?" she asked, confused.

"That was me making sure we had no listeners," I said before I waved my wand once again, summoning a chair before I sat comfortably. She looked confused. "Now, why do you think I insisted that you be the acting headmistress?" I asked. She blushed, to which I responded with a huge smirk. "Other than that very fun stuff," I followed.

"Well…" she whispered, looking confused. I had no doubt that, anyone that entered would assume she was the student and I was the teacher.

"I needed someone that would support the resistance while smart enough to act like she was under my control, therefore harmless," I said.

Understandably, her eyes widened. "What are you talking about!" she gasped, looking around panickedly. "I have no intention of —"

"Oh, come on, professor," I cut her off. "Not only you're a part of the resistance, but you often communicate with an unknown member of the resistance every Wednesday to receive some missives and communications," I said, and her face blanched while she reached her wand.

She was brave to work for the resistance … but bravery and coolness under pressure were completely different things. And, I had quite a bit of previous evidence that she was extremely weak in surprising situations.

Hence, it wasn't surprising that, before I did anything, the wand slipped off her fingers and hit the floor. I chuckled while she stood up, trying to look confident.

And failing.

"Oh, come on, professor. Do you really think I would have gone all that trouble if I wanted to give you to Death Eaters," I said.

"So, what's this? Blackmail?" she said, blushing.

"Again, no," I said, chuckling.

"Is that funny," she suddenly said, for the first time looking scary, showing that her pride in her beauty was no joke.

"Well, certainly not," I said, and her anger got thicker. Then, I jumped up suddenly and grabbed her waist, pulling her close, whispering from inches away. "I clearly don't need blackmail for that particular issue, do I?"

That was enough to silence her, the sudden confrontation enough to freeze her. She said nothing other than letting out a gasp of surprise when my fingers dipped down and cupped her ass.

"I helped you because I work for the resistance as well," I said.

"Y-you —" she gasped, her voice choppy, though it might be about the way I squeezed her ass just as much as the words shocking her.

"Of course, professor.

"W-why?" she asked, but made no move to extract herself from my grip.

"Come on, professor," I said even as I pulled her robe up, allowing my hand to touch her naked thigh. "Don't tell me you think trying to get rid of a murderer who kills people because he's bored is some kind of difficult position?"

"B-but…"

"But why did I suddenly change my mind just as he was about to win?" She nodded. "Simple, I didn't. I was young at first, and just listening to my moron father, and after his resurrection, making a visible stance would just make me and my family a target. I would have been dead." She opened her mouth, but I cut her off. "Don't even try to tell me I should have asked Dumbledore's help. He trusted Snape," I said, shamelessly blaming him for everything.

Luckily, Snape was genuinely unlikeable enough that no one questioned his sudden betrayal or his subsequent disappearance.

Shocking how little people cared about people that just went around insulting everyone.

Aurora looked at me, shocked, and I decided to push her a bit more. "Actually, that disguised person that had … challenged you was one of my spies gathering some precious information. Do you want to share with me just why she was that angry at you?"

"I have no idea," she gasped, though her blush suggested otherwise. Whatever Lily whispered into her ear should have been decisively convincing.

"Come on, I know it was something about the Potter family. She had slipped that much."

Aurora's eyes widened, though not as much as they would have if she knew her 'teaser' was Lily Potter herself.

"I don't feel comfortable talking about it," she whispered. "Are you going to force me?"

"Not exactly, but I was thinking of giving a reward. One less photo set?"

"What photo set?" she gasped.

"Photo sets that I promised her in exchange for her help on a very dangerous topic. Of course, you can reject it if you're feeling … selfish. It's for the resistance, after all."

Aurora stopped for a moment, saying nothing while I squeezed her ass. "It's a long story," she admitted.

"I bet it's not that long," I answered, once again earning another yelp as I squeezed her ass, her voice loud and beautiful at the same time. "Come on. Let me guess, it has something to do with Lily Potter … and James Potter." Her blush confirmed that fact. "Oh, come on. A little gossip wouldn't hurt anybody."

Aurora stayed silent as I continued to maul her ass, then my fingers reached her robe and quickly opened a couple buttons, creating a beautiful cleavage. She said nothing, happy with my fingers rather than answering.

"Come on, professor. I'll make sure your photos are really tasteful rather than the way she wanted," I followed up, which didn't help her blush any.

Luckily, she was really bad at reacting under pressure, or it would have failed.

"I … we were kind of friends with Lily back when we were both students. One day, during the seventh year, James managed to convince her for a threesome as a birthday gift, and Lily brought me in."

"It can't be that simple," I said as I continued disrobing her. I could have just vanished it, but it was far more entertaining.

"I … I might have visited for another threesome another day, without checking with Lily," she admitted, her blush growing badly.

"And, let me guess. Lily was not there, and you decided to start with James, trying to get a head start. And, maybe, just accidentally, you chose an hour where Lily would stay in the library for hours, giving you a really impressive head start."

"Y-yes," she admitted.

"How many times has that happened?" I asked. Her blush confirmed it was more than once. A lot more. "And, how did you get away from Lily once she learned that. She had a reputation for being fiery in her anger."

"She … she didn't learn it until years later," Aurora answered. "But, your friend just revealed to me that James apparently kept photos, and she found them while they were hiding. She just…"

"Didn't have time to punish you," I completed with a chuckle. "And now, my mysterious friend took it upon herself to punish you properly," I added, wondering how much of Lily's special attack was about her natural anger, and how much of it was Snape's manipulations ruining her natural reactions.

Not that I cared about it other than idle curiosity. Ultimately, I didn't care about the past. I cared about how Aurora could help me develop a friendlier relationship with Lily.

And how much fun we could have in the process…
