Synopsis
I die, and I get stronger. Every time I kick the bucket, I not only jump into another world—but I also rack up all kinds of insane rewards! To enjoy a carefree life in the main world—a radioactive wasteland straight out of a nightmare—I have to keep dying in every other world I visit! Some say I’m insane. Others think I’m some selfless martyr who always takes the hit for his team. But let me make one thing clear: I’m not here to be a hero. I just want everyone to beat me to death! And if you can’t kill me? Then sorry—I’ll kill you instead. What’s that? You’re wondering how I keep coming back after dying? How I’ve already reached “Stage Two”? Tsk. Isn’t that just standard issue for every overpowered protagonist? Alright, let’s start small. Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Dying Is the Key to Time Travel

That was the very first thing Xu Wang heard after transmigrating. A sentence so absurd, so jarring, he would never forget it.

He'd always imagined that if he ever transmigrated, he'd gain some cheat ability—or at least be handed a beautiful wife.

Reality slapped him hard.

Instead of a romantic adventure, Xu Wang, a complete outsider in this new world, got a brutal lesson.

There were no free wives here—just savage raiders, some with chest hair longer than the hair on their heads.

He had arrived in this world less than an hour ago.

And he died.

Slaughtered in cold blood during a raid on Shelter No. 92. Xu Wang, along with the other poor souls inside, was beheaded by bandits who stormed in without warning.

In his final moments, he saw his headless body dragged off and tossed onto a cart like garbage.

The cart was hauled up to the surface, where the sunlight was scorching and merciless.

Just before blacking out, he caught sight of a wastelander's rusty mechanical eye and

heard a voice mutter:

"Shame the boss doesn't let us eat the fresh ones…"

And then—nothing.

He and the others were dumped off a cliff that had to be at least a few hundred meters tall.

BANG. BANG. BANG.

Their bodies hit the ground like bags of wet meat. Broken, splattered, unrecognizable.

From transmigrating to dying, it took exactly 56 minutes and 21 seconds.

Xu Wang would've laughed—if he weren't dead.

But just as everything faded into darkness, glowing lines of text appeared before his eyes:

[Main World Bound: Irradiated Wasteland]

[Cause of Death: Pushed off a cliff by humans]

[Death Reward: +1 Constitution]

[Death Confirmed. Initiating Dimensional Transfer…]

A cheat? A golden finger?

He hadn't expected death to be the activation condition!

As the glowing words flashed, Xu Wang's mind cleared. The feeling was oddly familiar.

Back on Earth, he'd died in a traffic accident—run over by a dump truck while heading out to buy medicine.

At that moment, he had seen something similar.

Which meant… he'd already had this power back then!

While lost in thought, his senses started returning—bit by bit.

Though his vision remained black, his body began to respond.

He could hear the bustling sound of vehicles and voices.

He could smell city air.

He felt grounded.

Then more lines of glowing text appeared:

[Transfer Complete]

[Current World: Shin Godzilla]

[Return to Main World Upon Death]

When his vision finally returned, Xu Wang found himself standing beside a river in a lively, urban area surrounded by low-rise buildings.

Pedestrians hurried by.

He turned his head and spotted Japanese characters on a nearby signboard.

"No way… I'm in Godzilla's world?"

His voice trembled with disbelief.

This golden finger was way more powerful than he thought—it could send him into fictional worlds too?

And then it clicked: the condition to return was dying.

That meant… he couldn't die permanently.

Xu Wang felt his heart race—not in fear, but in excitement.

He glanced at his left wrist and was surprised to see his personal shelter terminal still attached.

It should've been stolen by the raiders, yet somehow it had returned to him.

But before he could think too much about it…

BOOOOM!!!

A thunderous crash echoed from the river. The ground trembled violently beneath his feet.

"ROOOOAAARRR!!!"

The beast's roar shook the sky.

And Xu Wang's eyes sparkled with awe.

"Godzilla… a real, living Godzilla!"

Down the river, just five or six hundred meters away, a massive reddish-brown monster was rising from the water.

As it swam upstream, the river turned blood-red in its wake.

Xu Wang instantly recognized this version—it was Kamata-kun, the second form of Godzilla from Shin Godzilla.

Bulging, lifeless fish eyes. Stubby claws. Thick, stubby legs. A massive, unbalanced body.

Even at this early stage, it stood 30 meters tall and stretched over 60 meters long.

Just wading into the river was enough to trigger a flood.

And it did.

The Dunchuan River violently reversed flow.

Huge waves crashed against the banks, capsizing every boat in sight.

"AHHHH!!!"

The people screamed.

Panic spread as the giant beast approached.

Everyone ran—except Xu Wang.

Instead of fleeing, he ran straight toward the river.

He dashed onto the Asahi Bridge, raised his arms to the sky, and laughed like a madman.

"Come at me! Bring the storm!"

BOOOOOM!!!

The beast surged forward, hurling boats and water like missiles.

A fishing vessel, flung by Godzilla's massive body, slammed directly into the bridge.

Xu Wang felt the impact.

Water pelted his face.

Then—darkness.

Crushed beneath the ship like an ant under a boulder, Xu Wang died instantly.

And once again… glowing words appeared in the void:

[Dead]

[Cause of Death: Crushed by fishing boat propelled by Godzilla]

[Death Reward: Fishing Boat Enhancement x1]

[Returning to Main World…]

Just like before, his senses gradually returned. Light pierced the darkness.

He was back.

Back in the irradiated wasteland.

"Paji…"

Xu Wang groaned and pushed himself up.

His hands squelched in something sticky.

Blood.

All around him lay mangled corpses—residents of the same shelter, thrown off the same cliff.

Their blue uniforms were the only thing keeping their bodies remotely human-shaped.

Xu Wang looked down at himself.

No wounds.

No broken bones.

Just some dirt and bloodstains.

He was alive. Again.

And stronger.

The +1 Constitution bonus from his first death was already making a difference.

He stood up, inspecting his body with a grin.

"I really am immortal…"

He laughed.

"Die, get a reward. Jump to a new world. Die again. Return stronger."

"It's… perfect."

He looked around. Just desolate roads and scattered junk. But then—he spotted a piece of jagged, rusted metal nearby.

Xu Wang picked it up.

"Time to test this cheat again."

He walked to the guardrail, sharpened the metal shard, then calmly drove it straight into his throat.

Pfft.

And just like that, death came again.
