???:(God damn, why does applying have to be complicated and difficult to go through, I don't even know what most of these documents even are but yet the dmv will only let me apply for my written test if I bring all this mumbo jumbo. Hopefully, I actually brought all the documents. Mom will be pissed if I pull the same excuse, forgetting a file, so I had to leave the early without doing anything again. It doesn't help that this is my third time applying since I keep failing my written tests. This is the same for community college. A bunch of files needed to progress, and I need to pay a few thousand dollars that I don't have, and all of that is on top 9f highly stressful classes. They would say we built civilization to escape the dangers of the jungle, but frankly as far I'm concerned we never left the jungle to begin with, we're just now living in a man-made jungle with its own rules of survival)

Okay, okay, let's just get this over with. At least after doing this, there won't be anything to expect for the rest of the week except for season 3 of tensura. I have been waiting for this since finishing season 2 a few years back. I was kinda salty, that what I thought as an early episode premier, but it turned out to be season 2 recap. It seems like this season will cover the hinata rematch arc and founder festival arc, but it doesn't sound too exciting compared to the Rollercoaster that was last season.
As the young man continues to drift in thought, he subconsciously walks through a street alley to cut corners and assumes he would be safe in broad daylight oh how misfortune he was going.
When he was about to cross through the alleyway he noticed two folks standing near the alley exit thinking they were just chilling there, he started to walk over to the side to over bumping into them but as his presence was noticed by them they too shifted to the side blocking his way. As the anti- social person he is, he immediately turned around to avoid any confrontation only to realize there two more people that followed behind him, he was trapped
Punk 1: Yo, where you're heading?
???: to the dmv, why are you asking?
Punk 2: Well, ll you see, this part of town is considered OUR turf, and no stranger can just walk through and we don't take kindly to any who do
???: I mean, I'm just a dude with a bunch of files. I don't think I got much for ya
Punk 3: Don't bother trying to convince us otherwise. If you're applying, which it seems to be, then you'll be paying the application fee, so you gotta have some money packing in ya

Well fuck, as if my day wasn't already looking grim but now I'm about to get mugged. We'll I guess there's two options, option A is to just accept defeat and let them mug me, option B is to try to escape. I'm guaranteed to be doomed with option A but with B there's a small chance, but chance none the less. So I ended giving the codes to access to phone, they took a second to look at my home screen before laughing their butt's off

They got what they wanted out and decided to finally leave, not without throwing a few more insults as they walked away

I regained my composer and rushed after the group, I'll just have to come back for the dropped docs later. As I exited the alley, I turned towards the group's direction as I was doing this, I heard an intense sound but I was too furiously determind to get my phone back to comprehend the source of the sound let alone react when the source was speeding right towards me

It's crazy to think that in a set "humane" society, we establish rules and social norms just to keep everyone in check and there are people that preach that our emotions and "humanity" is what makes us different from any other beast or animal in this world and that didn't stop monstrous folks like them from doing considered to be inhuman, so what's the point of letting these social norms get in the way if that is what we really are. Heroes in stories are always concerned about a morale dilemma but villains don't bother restricting themselves to such trivial matters, I guess that's why I found villains more interesting and entertaining than the hero. Animals that are truly no different from merciless beasts than I'd rather be an animal that isn't under the restrictions of Man, something beyond Man.

Trying something to desperately keep my mind off of that idea I remembered the state of my surrounding, no one, one to help, no one to consult me, no one to even see me in my final seconds. Instead of dying old on a soft bed surrounded by my loved ones, it ended up quite the opposite. Hard concrete for my body to lay on in an empty street, surrounded by no one, and at an age where I still had plenty of life to look forward to, so places to see and go to, so many things to do and people to meet and yet I lost my chance to do all of that, I lost my chance at life.
This sense of loneliness and humility isn't something new to me unfortunately. I was also considered someone to be below average compared to the majority, I was seen as someone inferior. I was fortunate enough to make friends early on in life when we drifted apart due to circumstances, I was never able to make new ones. All that remains are memories that remind me what I no longer had. I'm dying as I lived, feeling alone and in a state of absolute humility. Maybe, just maybe if I were to get the best outcome of reincarnation, I could only hope I would end in a more satisfying and positive state

Author's Note: So how was that for my first official chapter of this fanfic. I feel I dragged out the ending much to the point of making my old English teacher frown. Apologies for not being able to cover the meeting of veldora in this chapter. I just desperately wanted to establish what type of character we will be focusing on in this, although he will get a shift to a more childish personality as the story progress.
