The trio entered a room with a lift at the center. "That lift will take us to the Doctor's lair," Michelle said before looking at Katelynn. "Get ready to go on the defensive."
Katelynn nodded. "Right," she said; Simon Smoke looked at Michelle. "Hey, I can be helpful too," he said. Katelynn rolled her eyes as they walked to the right. "Yeah, right," she said as she waved her hand. "Just let Big Sister hold you like a doll."
A tick mark formed on Simon Smoke's head before getting on Michelle's shoulder and glaring at Katelynn. "Hey, I may not be as big as you, but there are advantages to having a small body," he said.
Katelynn deadpanned Simon Smoke. "Sure it is," she said sarcastically. "You'll only get in my way." Simon Smoke growled a bit at Katelynn before looking away.
Katelynn crossed her arms. "You're acting more like an immature child than when I was when I had no memories, and I'm only thirteen," she continued.
Simon Smoke smugly laughed, which made Katelynn look at him. "You're only thirteen; I've got you beat by two years," he said. "Therefore, you should respect those older than you."
Katelynn and Simon Smoke glared at one another, growling. "Y'know, you're definitely right, Simon," Michelle said, which made the duo look at her. "Some people need to respect those older than themselves."
Michelle sternly looked at the duo, which made them flinch a bit. "So, as the oldest of both of you, please be quiet," she continued. Katelynn looked down. "Sorry, Big Sister," she said; Simon Smoke clicked his tongue and turned away. "Whatever..." he said.
The trio stood before the lift; Michelle stared at it before taking a deep breath. After Michelle exhaled, she looked at the lift. "Let's go," she said.
The toys nodded as they got on the lift. Soon after, the lift started going up. "Do you hear it... like I do?" the Doctor asked. "Off somewhere... somewhere far..."
Michelle stared at the intercoms. "Beyond this place... beyond any place... a bell," the Doctor said. "For whom does it toll, you think? A wounded little pup lifts its head beneath the shadow of the master's raised foot. For whom does that bell now toll?"
Michelle gritted her teeth and clenched her fists as the Doctor chuckled. Soon after, the trio saw a hallway with multiple screens; Katelynn looked at Michelle, concerned. "Big Sister?" she asked.
Michelle undid her fists before looking forward. "It's time we end this fucker once and for all..." she said. Katelynn stared at Michelle before nodding. "Right," she said before they moved forward.
The screens showed the Doctor's eye and stared at the trio before they turned to static. The door before the trio opened, which revealed a large vital chamber with the Doctor's brain inside. "There he is... the Doctor..." Michelle said before they entered.
Unbeknownst to the trio, a mechanical body approached them. "Not even the ground beneath your feet," the Doctor said. When Michelle turned around, the mechanical body grabbed her by her throat while its eye glowed red before tossing her over the stairs.
Katelynn looked at Michelle, shocked. "Big Sister!" she shouted before shooting toward her. As Michelle sat up and looked at the mechanical body, it waved with a yellow glowing eye before the ground under her opened.
Michelle looked down with widened eyes as she fell; Katelynn got under her and cushioned her fall. The trio looked up as the hole above them closed. "Damn that asshole..." Michelle said as she stood up.
Michelle turned her flashlight on before looking around. The trio saw four computers with battery sockets next to them. "We'll need to find batteries to power these computers up," Michelle said.
Michelle turned her head to Katelynn. "Katie, destroy any of the mechanical bodies that come after us," she continued. Katelynn nodded. "You got it," she said; Michelle turned her head to Simon Smoke. "Simon, you be our second pair of eyes at the back," she said.
Simon Smoke nodded as he got on Michelle's right shoulder. "Got it, Boss," he said. Michelle looked at Simon Smoke with a raised brow. "Boss?" she asked before shaking her head. "Doesn't matter; let's find those batteries..."
When Michelle looked at the right corner, she spotted a battery before aiming and pulling the left trigger, launching the blue hand and grabbing the battery before retracting.
Michelle approached the computer at the back before aiming at the battery socket and pulling the left trigger. After the blue hand placed the battery inside the socket, the gates started opening. "Let's move," Michelle said.
The toys nodded as they went through the left pathway; when they turned the corner, they saw a mechanical body. "Katie," Michelle said. Katelynn nodded as Michelle walked forward while she followed behind.
When the duo turned the corner, the mechanical body activated before charging toward them. Katelynn punched the mechanical body's screen, which destroyed it.
When the mechanical body hit the ground, Katelynn's fingertips turned into claws before they went through the screen, which destroyed it. After the duo turned left and right, they went left again; they saw a green light. "That has to be where a battery is," Michelle said.
When the duo approached the green light, they spotted a battery in a computer. Michelle aimed and pulled the left trigger, launching the blue hand and grabbing the battery before retracting. "Two down, two to go," she said.
Simon Smoke turned his head to the right and saw a mechanical body brought down by a wire, which made his eyes widen. "Robo-body incoming!" he shouted. The duo looked at the mechanical body as it charged toward them.
Katelynn stretched her arms and grabbed the mechanical body before lifting it. "You're not getting anywhere near Big Sister?!" she shouted before slamming it on the ground, which destroyed the screen.
Michelle looked at Katelynn. "Let's head back to the center," she said; she nodded before they sprinted away. When the duo reached the center, Michelle approached the right computer before aiming at the battery socket and pulling the left trigger.
The blue hand placed the battery in the socket before retracting. "Elliot's machines are nothing to me," the Doctor said. "The childish fantasy of a naive, broken man. They won't serve you here; NOTHING will."
The duo entered the back right pathway before turning left; when they turned right, a screen broke, which made Katelynn cover Michelle a bit before sprinting forward. After the duo turned right and left, they sprinted forward.
When the duo turned right, they sprinted forward and turned left; a mechanical body turned on and faced them. Katelynn grabbed the mechanical body and yelled before slamming it against the wall, which destroyed it.
As Michelle turned left, she saw a yellow light from the mechanical body in front of her. The mechanical body turned its head to Michelle before its eye turned red.
Katelynn grabbed the mechanical body's head before slamming it on the ground, which destroyed it. "Not on my watch!" she shouted. As the duo circled the area, they saw nothing important. "There was another pathway at the back; let's check it out," Michelle said.
Katelynn nodded as they sprinted back. After the duo turned left, they turned right and spotted a green light before approaching it.
The duo saw a computer with a battery socket on the other side. "I guess this area didn't have anything important in here..." Michelle said, lowly, before they sprinted away.
When the duo reached the center, Michelle aimed at the battery on the right before pulling the left trigger, launching the hand, and grabbing the battery.
After the blue hand retracted, Michelle aimed at the left computer before pulling the left trigger again, launching it, and placing the battery inside. The red gate opened, which made the duo sprint through it.
As the duo sprint around the area, they saw a mechanical body run forward, which made Katelynn ready her claws. As the duo entered an area with a table at the center, two mechanical bodies activated before looking at them with red eyes.
As the two mechanical bodies charged toward the trio, Katelynn grabbed their heads before slamming them together, which destroyed them. When the duo reached the opening, they saw multiple mechanical bodies in the room.
As the duo sprinted through the hallway, a few of the screens blew up. When the duo turned left, they entered a room with a battery inside a computer. Michelle aimed at the battery and pulled the left trigger, launching the blue hand and grabbing it.
After the blue hand retracted, Michelle looked at Simon Smoke. "Hold onto my shoulder tight," she said. Simon Smoke nodded. "Heard ya loud and clear, Boss," he said as he clung to Michelle's shoulder. Michelle looked at Katelynn. "Ready?" she asked.
Katelynn nodded as slime arms sprouted out of her back. "Whether it's one enemy or multiple enemies, I'll destroy them," she said as she readied her claws. Michelle looked at the opening. "Then let's go!" she shouted before they sprinted forward.
As the duo left the room, the door opened, revealing a mechanical body. Before the mechanical body moved forward, Katelynn roughly slammed it back in the room, which destroyed it.
When Michelle turned right, she saw another mechanical body activate; a slime arm grabbed its head before slamming it against the inactive one, which destroyed both. When the duo entered the hallway, multiple mechanical bodies turned on and faced the group.
Katelynn sprinted forward. "Run on ahead! I'll catch up?!" she shouted as she destroyed the mechanical body on the left. Michelle sprinted past Katelynn and the mechanical bodies as she destroyed them before turning right.
As Michelle circled the area, she quickly approached the gate. "We're almost there," she said. Unbeknownst to Michelle, a mechanical body grabbed her left ankle before she entered the room, which made her look at it with widened eyes. "What?!" she shouted.
Simon Smoke growled and leaped toward the mechanical body's screen. "Hands off the Boss!" he shouted. The mechanical body grabbed Simon Smoke before throwing him against a wall hard, which made him yell. "Oh no, Simon!" Michelle shouted.
Michelle growled as the mechanical body reached for her. Damn it, even if it wouldn't have any effect, I really wish I had my flare hand right now... she thought.
Before the mechanical body reached for Michelle, a slime hand grabbed its arm, which shocked her. "What the hell do you think you're doing...?" she looked forward and saw a tense aura surrounding Katelynn, which made her flinch.
Katelynn glared at the mechanical body as her blue teeth extended. "Get your filthy hands off my Big Sister?!" she shouted as she bit the screen before tearing it off. Michelle looked at Katelynn as she tossed the screen away with her mouth. "Thanks for that, Katie," she said.
Katelynn smiled at Michelle. "You're welcome," she said. Michelle smiled a bit before approaching Simon Smoke and knelt. "Are you alright?" she asked.
Simon Smoke quickly got up and looked at Michelle. "You don't have to worry about me, Boss," he said as he flexed his arms. "I'm a lot stronger than I look."
Michelle smiled a bit as she picked Simon Smoke up and placed him on her shoulder before standing up. "Well then, let's place this battery back in the right computer," she said.
The toys nodded as they entered the center room; when they were close to the right computer, Michelle aimed and pulled the left trigger.
The blue hand placed the battery in the socket before retracting. "I'll bury myself so far down that no one will ever find me!" the Doctor shouted. "Not you and your group. Not the Prototype; not anyone!"
Michelle looked at the blue gate as it opened. "We've got one battery remaining; this is the final stretch before we take care of the Doctor," she said. Katelynn nodded as the duo sprinted through the blue gate.
As the duo circled the area, a mechanical body turned on. Katelynn slashed the mechanical body, which destroyed it before falling to the ground.
When the duo entered the area with a table, a mechanical body charged toward them; Katelynn grabbed the mechanical body before throwing it against the wall.
After the robot was destroyed, the duo entered the room with stairs before going up them; soon after, they saw a computer with a battery.
Michelle aimed and pulled the left trigger, launching the blue hand and grabbing the battery before retracting. "Time to head back to the center," she said. Katelynn nodded as the duo sprinted and went down the stairs.
As the duo left the room, a mechanical body activated. As Katelynn grabbed the mechanical body, a different one on the opposite side turned on.
Katelynn glared at the mechanical body on the opposite side before throwing the one in her hand at it, which destroyed both of them.
After Katelynn destroyed a few robots along the way, the duo reached a small hole before crouching and going through it. Soon after, the duo reached the center; Michelle aimed at the computer on the front before pulling the left trigger.
The blue hand placed the battery in the socket before retracting, which lit the cables. "It was going to be mine! It was ALL going to be MINE!" the Doctor shouted. "MY discovery; MY recognition! I was the one who paved the golden path!"
The duo followed the cable on the back right before finding stairs, which prompted them to go up.
Soon after, the duo saw the Doctor's vital chamber. "You paving the golden path?" Michelle asked rhetorically in anger. "The only thing you've done is turn innocent children into monsters."
Michelle glared at the vital chamber. "Well, no more," she continued before approaching the vital chamber. When Michelle was close to the computer, she typed on the keyboard before pressing Enter.
Soon after, a chip came out of the computer. "This is your end?!" Michelle shouted before pulling it out of the machine. As the computer loaded, multiple mechanical bodies approached Michelle; Katelynn stretched her arms and grabbed her before pulling her close.
Slime arms sprouted out of Katelynn's back as the mechanical bodies approached them while the Doctor screamed.
Soon after, an electric wave shot off the vital chamber before the brain inside was destroyed, which stopped the mechanical bodies. "You've... saved... no one..." the Doctor said before he went silent.
The trio stared at the vital chamber. "He's gone..." Michelle said. "He's finally gone..." Katelynn let go of Michelle. "Now what, Boss?" Simon Smoke asked.
Michelle turned to the opening on the right. "Now we get our Omni-Hand," she said; Katelynn nodded as they approached the opening.
