Chapter one episode 1: First Day
Ark~ prologue

Mazoku, a 14yr old boy from the most powerful & known clan in the world, he always lived in the shadows of his father and older brother who are both well known around the globe for their power. Today is his first day of high school. he has a very…long journey ahead of himself can he make a name for himself getting out of his family's shadow
Mazoku- opens his eyes he looks around his room not ready to get up he closes his eyes one more time before getting up he puts on a basic outfit as he doesn't really care for school he pulls out his phone ad calls someone *rings* "he better pick up the phone"
Unknown- picks up the phone " I'm outside"
Mazoku- opens his room door not wanting to deal with his mother ad her affection this early in the morning he jumps down the stairs and runs to the all black car sitting in the front "still using your dad's car."
Unknown- taps Mazoku shoulder "trust me my old man doesn't care about this old ass car…" turns around slightly "alright take us to odda high driver"
Minutes later they arrive at their high school Mazoku looks around the school in his head he says "it's huge" they both walk in as soon as they walk in all the attention is put on them the two just act like nothing is happening ad goes to the front office
Mazoku- walks up to the desk "ms can I get a copy of my schedule?"
Lady- takes a quick glance at Mazoku "andd you are Xavier's youngest correct?"
Mazoku- "yes my name is Mazoku."
Lady- hands Mazoku a paper "since you are in the training program your schedule is different from others so keep that in mind."
Mazoku looks at his schedule he only has 3 normal classes then the training program Godbanda walks up to him
Godbanda- "it looks like we have the same first 2 classes together. How do you feel about the training program?"
Mazoku- "I don't know maybe it can help me finally tap into my spirit energy"
Godbanda- puts his hand on Mazoku's shoulder "hopefully your spirit animal is good since it's taking this long to unlock."
Mazoku- glares at Godbanda "yeah hopefully"
Somewhere unknown
Unknown 1- looks up slightly with 2 red eyes glowing "so is the plan coming into play?"
Unknown 2- bows slightly with a shaker tone "y-yes sir we have everything set up"
Unknown 1- rubs chin "good very good if he is the key to me getting full power the gates will open with no problem."
Unknown 3- "jace I don't think this is a good idea. How do you know the demons will listen to you once he's brought back?"
Jace- glares at her "listen here Karasu that woman left the clan she left us to die and you sit here and QUESTION ME?"
Karasu- puts her head down "s-she didn't know that would've happened she had a family to take care of"
Jace- swiftly turns around and slaps Karasu "and you still defend the woman who left our mother to die" grabs Karasu by her shirt "now go spy on Mazoku before you join our mother in the grave."
Mazoku just got out of his last class he meets up with Godbanda they both walk to the other side of the school the side that is most known they see all types of kids Mazoku looks at everyone he locks eyes with a purple haired kid who smirks then disappears Mazoku turns to the side to see the kid right next to him
Mazoku- "Hottokiru you could've just walked."
Hottokiru- smiles "you know I gotta be extra how's life been you still living under your big brother ad all."
Mazoku- smirks "like you aren't living under your father and brother."
Hottokiru- "yeah we're going to see."
A man walks out Godbanda shakes his head as he sees his father Johan the current leader of the city of odda he begins to speak
Johan- "as you know we are the most powerful city known to man with new threats coming every day we need people to stop them…and you are the next generation with the city of 12 teaming up with the city of Power there might be a war coming into fruition…We are going to have a test to see who gets a spot in the army and who doesn't now make teams of three."
Mazoku looks at Godbanda he looks at Hottokiru they stand in a line after a few minutes everyone formed a team it was 10 teams in total Johan matches up teams it is a 1v1 tournament the team who wins advances and fight the next team until it's the last 2 teams Mazoku's team is going up first they are going against randoms mazoku steps up so does another guy from the other team Mazoku gets into his stance Johan says start the guy runs at Mazoku he starts with a high kick to the head which Mazoku swiftly dodges then lands a right hook the guy smiles then steps back
Guy- looks at Mazoku then laughs "this is why I stepped up first I knew you couldn't access your spirit energy…I heard about you the dragon's clan cursed dragon defeating you here now the whole city WILL KNOW RĪDĀ"
Mazoku- eyes widen 'FUCK I knew this was going to happen he was testing a theory from the beginning I might actually lose.'
Rīdā still looking at mazoku finally makes the first move he starts doing hand signs Mazoku recognizes them at the last moment a yellowish-gold aura starts to cover Rīdā then a lion head appears over his body he points his finger at mazoku then the lion starts to form a body ad charges at Mazoku who stands there as the lion gets closer he side steps at the last second the lion turns and tries to cut down on Mazoku who just dodges again then out of nowhere Rīdā kicks Mazoku in the back he just lays there
Johan- shakes his head "So Xavier this is your youngest son…he's nothing like his older brother" he says this under his breath covering a smirk as he sees Mazoku's reaction
Mazoku heard what Johan said he lifts his head up both eyes glowing purple Hottokiru just looks and smiles
Hottokiru- folds his arms 'now let's see the true form of Mazoku'
Mazoku quickly gets up Rīdā is now on guard as he knows these eyes the famous dragon eyes Mazoku just stares at Rīdā then runs towards him the lion tries to attack Mazoku but he flips over the lion then sweeps Rīdā feet he falls then Mazoku kicks him in the stomach Rīdā starts to hold his stomach ad roll around he punches the ground then spikes made of earth matter go right towards mazoku who just slightly tilts his head to the left then a beam shoots through the spikes then they stop he slowly walks to Rīdā he has he hand out a small flame starts to grow it gets larger and larger it starts to cover his arm forming a wing he starts lifting his arm up to attack before Mazoku could even touch Ridā out of nowhere Xavier appears and grabs his hand
Xavier- looks at his son "Mazoku calm down he isn't a threat anymore."
Mazoku- looks around then looks at his hand that has bright flames coming off of it "w-what happened?"
Xavier- "you unlocked your dragon eyes ad it seems like you unlocked your Spirit animal too"
Johan- starts to clap "what a show the dragon clan youngster unlocks his Dragon eyes & his spirit animal in the same battle."
Xavier- turns around "Johan it's not the time right now."
Johan- shakes head " I'm just making an observation Xavier go take care of your child." Waves them off
Xavier teleports himself ad Mazoku to the dragon clan temple they walk into a large room
Xavier- "So tell me what caused you to unlock your dragon eyes."
Mazoku- starts to think back "all I remember is getting kicked in the back then Johan said something and it triggered me then everything went blank."
Xavier- strokes his chin 'so something triggered him to unlock his dragon eyes he also tapped into his spirit energy without knowing and off the look of that flame he might have the power of the phoenix.'
Xavier sends a blast of dark matter at mazoku who dodges
Mazoku- looks at his dad in shock "why did you just shoot at me?"
Xavier- "I wanted to test something activate your dragon eyes real quick normally when you were fighting you unknowingly tapped into your spirit energy. I want to see if you will do it again so attack me with full force without holding back at all."
Mazoku gets into his stance but this time it was different from the other one he has his dragon eyes activated he charges at his dad who swiftly pulls out his sword from his back and blocks the incoming attack then he slaps Mazoku back his makes him mad as he roundhouse kicks his dad who just dodges then throws a punch of his own that lands Mazoku steps back Xavier looks in his eyes and all he sees is fire mazoku is just standing there flames starts to come from mazoku's back and start to form hands that flies towards Xavier with unreal speed Xavier activates his dragon eyes a black matter hand grabs the flame hand.
Xavier- smirks 'so I was right he does have the phoenix inside him and it looks like it feeds off his anger turns him into a different person…considering who had the Phoenix Spirit before him if he masters this power he could be stronger than Tenshi in a couple of years.'
Mazoku starts to smirk he retracts the flame hand back into his back he touches the ground Xavier smiles knowing what Mazoku is trying to do but he lets him after a couple of seconds mazoku gets up he charges his father throwing a wild punch that Xavier parries then he swiftly grabs Xavier hand and reactivate his flames then forms a large flame arm with a sword that tries to strike down on Xavier right before the sword touches Xavier a black paw stops the sword Mazoku looks up and sees a black panther behind his father Xavier just smirks then he sends a sword towards Mazoku who steps back as the sword falls in front of him
Xavier- "that's yours son a custom made dragon clan sword if you put spirit energy into it changes how strong the sword gets before careful with this sword the person before died from putting too much energy into the sword..but I don't think you're going to have that problem."
Mazoku looks at his dad he deactivated his dragon eyes and puts his hand on the sword his eyes turns all white and he gets a whole bunch of flashbacks he drops down to his knees the little purple patch in his hair spread across his hair he looks up at his father who is just smiling
Days later…
After Mazoku and his father little spar he has been training Mazoku when he touched the sword it locked his Masked dragon clan DNA pushing his dragon eyes to its full potential this paired with his phoenix spirit animal he's considered a top prospect in his class his team made it all the way to the finals losing to Tatsumi and his team this match Hottokiru unlocks the 2nd stage of the dragon eyes getting close to beating Tatsumi but his mastery of the dragon eye was just superior and he overpowered Hottokiru all this happened 4 days ago 4 teams have been picked the last 2 teams and lower classes teams today Johan calls all the teams for a meeting
Johan- looks around the room "as you know there have been rumors ad reports about the new alliance the City of Power ad 12 have formed...they plan on attacking us now we dont know when or if it is true but whenever thats time comes can I count on you to protect this city"
Mazoku- turns to look at Hottokiru he nods he turns to Godbanda ad of course he nods so he looks at Johan ad nods."
Johan- smirks "good now your first mission is tomorrow I will send u a text of your individual rank as well as your team rank now go check out the training facilities we set up for you."
Mazoku ad his team was about to walk to their training ground but Tatsumi steps in front of Mazoku
Tatsumi- does dragon clan hand symbol mazoku does the same "how have you been cousin?"
Mazoku- "good just the usual training ad school."
Tatsumi- leans towards mazoku ear "after your training meet me at the dragon temple I have something to tell you."
Mazoku steps into the training ground his eyes in awe
Hottokiru- "This shit looks like a battlefield."
Godbanda- "he told me about this."
They all walk in on the side there is 3 tablets they all put their hand on each tablet it scans their hand ad shows their profile
