Chapter 2 - The Witch Village

Fujimiya slowly regained consciousness after a long period of unconsciousness.

He realized he was no longer in the same world.

Looking around, he spotted his smartphone nearby.

He slowly reached for it and turned on the screen—only to find the clock wasn't functioning properly.

"What's wrong with the time?"

Just then, a woman entered the room.

"So, you're finally awake," she said as she approached him.

Fujimiya became slightly wary.

The woman had beautiful brown hair and gentle brown eyes.

"There's no need to be so cautious," she said warmly.

Fujimiya tried to move away, but his body wouldn't respond.

The woman reached out her hand.

"My name is Elsyia."

Fujimiya, struggling a bit, reached out to shake her hand.

"I'm Fujimiya Hanemia."

But as soon as their hands touched, Fujimiya suddenly felt dizzy and nauseous.

He quickly covered his mouth with his hand, trying to hold it back, but he ended up vomiting a little into his palm.

"Hey, are you okay?" Elsyia asked, worried.

"I'm fine..." he muttered weakly.

Due to all the loops he had experienced, Fujimiya's mental state had been heavily damaged.

Elsyia calmly cleaned his hand with a cloth and gently wiped his lips.

Afterward, she carefully fed him small bites of food.

Fujimiya blushed at her kindness.

Once Elsyia left the room, Fujimiya peeked outside—and was stunned.

He realized he was inside a tall tower.

"Damn, it feels like I'm being held in a prison..."

---

Two days later.

Fujimiya had recovered enough to walk around. Elsyia had been permitted to take him on a tour of the village.

After walking around for a while, Fujimiya, still full of questions, asked her:

"Elsyia, I want to ask you something."

She turned to him. "What is it?"

"Where exactly am I? Why are all the villagers women? And how did you even find me?"

"You're currently in the Witch Village. All of us were born as women—except for one. A single man was born here."

"Who?" Fujimiya asked, curious.

Elsyia gave a faint smile.

"His name is King William. He's the only male witch and the current ruler of this place."

"Then how did you find me and treat my injuries?"

"One of the witches was fishing near the river when she noticed something floating in the water. When she approached, she found a man with white hair—you. You were barely alive."

"How long was I unconscious?"

"I don't know how long you were adrift before we found you."

Fujimiya fell silent. His face showed no emotion.

Elsyia pouted, folding her arms.

"What's wrong?" Fujimiya asked.

"You don't show any expression at all."

"You seriously asking that?"

Elsyia placed her hand on his cheek, gently pressing her thumb against his lips, trying to force a smile out of him.

"What are you doing?"

"I just want to see you smile."

Fujimiya removed her hand from his lips.

"Before that, I'd like to know your full name."

"Eh? Isn't it a little late to ask that?"

"I know, but I'm just curious. You've been kind to me, even though the other witches look at me with disgust."

"And why do you want to know my full name?"

"I owe you my life."

Elsyia gave a faint smile.

"I thought someone like you—a flat-faced guy with no emotion—wouldn't care about that."

"What did you say?"

"Haha, never mind."

She stood up and walked toward him.

"My full name is Elsyia Stolen."

She held out her hand.

Fujimiya shook her hand.

"Ahem... you seem pretty close for a mere human refugee."

A voice came from behind them.

Both Fujimiya and Elsyia turned around.

Elsyia immediately bowed.

"Greetings, Lord William."

"Hey, Elsyia. Who's this guy?"

Panicking, Elsyia bowed Fujimiya's head for him.

"Hey, what are you—"

"Just follow my lead!"

Fujimiya bowed his head reluctantly.

"Greetings, Lord William," he said, clearly forced.

"Raise your head, human."

Fujimiya obeyed.

"What's your name?"

"Fujimiya Hanemia."

"I'll explain the situation. First, you'll be trained in magic. Second, you'll stay here for two weeks."

Elsyia's eyes lit up with excitement. She immediately hugged Fujimiya.

"Ahem," William cleared his throat.

Elsyia quickly let go of the embrace.

"Alright, I'll be leaving now."

William turned to leave with his guards.

"Oh, and Elsyia—don't forget to come to my room tonight."

Elsyia's joyful expression darkened instantly.

"See you later," William said with a smirk before walking off.

Fujimiya glanced at the back of his hand, where a glowing rune shaped like a dragon had appeared.

---

Days passed.

Fujimiya was trained to use gadgets and rune magic.

He progressed rapidly, eventually creating a weapon called Eidolon Fang—a dagger that could pierce an enemy's soul.

But throughout the training, he didn't see Elsyia again. Her absence made him anxious.

---

One night.

Fujimiya found himself waking up in a strange place.

"Where... am I?" he muttered.

"Aah, one more round—don't stop!"

That voice... it sounded familiar.

Fujimiya followed the sound, confused.

When he arrived, he saw something he wished he hadn't.

William and Elsyia—having sex.

His eyes widened in shock, and he suddenly woke up in his bed, gasping.

---

The next morning.

Fujimiya stood in front of Elsyia's house.

"Was that a dream... or was it real?"

He opened the door. To his surprise, it was unlocked.

"Elsyia?" he called, searching the house.

He checked every room until he reached her bedroom.

He slowly opened the door.

"Elsyi—"

He froze. His entire body trembled.

He vomited on the spot.

There, hanging from the ceiling, was Elsyia's lifeless body—naked, her limbs bruised, dislocated, and bleeding.

Her face was peaceful, but her fate was horrifying.
