"Darn it, I refuse! I must answer!"
Luffy stood tall, eyes locked on the giant screen, a firm determination burning in his gaze.
If he wanted to become the Pirate King, how could he falter over something so trivial?
To him, every trial was a step closer to his dream.
"Don't be so impulsive, idiot! I haven't become the world's strongest swordsman yet!"
Zoro sighed, pressing a hand to his forehead.
Sometimes, he really wondered why he picked this guy as his captain.
"The first two choices are definitely wrong. We don't need to attack Enies Lobby just to raise our bounty. And I don't believe we'll be caught by the Navy either!"
Luffy analyzed aloud.
"Even though I don't know who Nico Robin is, I feel like she's somehow… familiar. So I'll choose C!"
He rubbed his chin in thought, trying his best to sound serious.
"Think before you speak, you idiot!"
Usopp snapped.
"Nico Robin is called the 'Devil's Child'. The World Government put a 79 million bounty on her head when she was only eight. She's basically infamous across the entire sea."
Zoro had been a bounty hunter before this. To him, Robin was nothing but bad news.
"Why would we ever risk our lives to save her?"
It didn't make sense.
Yet… the images on screen clearly showed the Straw Hats standing in Enies Lobby. Even if some people were unfamiliar, the rest were undeniably them.
It felt impossible, yet real.
"I've made up my mind, Zoro. I'm choosing C!"
Luffy declared boldly.
Meanwhile, Usopp had buried his face in both hands.
"You idiot! If you're covering your nose, your hands will get cut off!"
Zoro scolded.
This crew… seriously.
"What do I do!? I'm terrified…"
Usopp whimpered. He wanted to move his hands, but Arlong's bloody punishment replayed in his mind, freezing him in fear.
[Luffy: I choose C.]
The answer flashed on the screen for the world to see.
"This brat…"
Garp clenched his fists. His face turned grim.
He was truly worried this time.
"Hah… This kid's good at making a scene,"
muttered Sakazuki (Akainu), watching coldly.
[Correct answer!]
[The Straw Hat Pirates gain 1 point!]
The screen lit up again. The spinning wheel halted.
[Reward: Magic Jar]
Nobody knew what that meant at first.
[The Straw Hat Pirates have received a reward: a magic jar!]
[A magical jar containing rare treasures, including weapons, devil fruits, and more!]
A round, ceramic jar appeared on the screen.
"Yattaaa!! Got it right again! Sugoi!"
Luffy pumped his fist into the air.
"Phew… I was scared to death…"
Usopp collapsed to the deck, gasping in relief.
Luffy stared at the jar in his hand, curious.
Could it really hold a Devil Fruit or even a weapon?
"Luffy, I'll do the heavy lifting!"
Before Luffy could examine the jar properly, Zoro raised his katana and slashed it cleanly in half.
"Zoro!?"
Luffy was stunned and threw the jar aside just in time.
The slash broke the pottery into two halves.
Suddenly, a blinding light shone out from within.
The screen transmitted the scene live across the world — the glow was so intense that people had to shield their eyes.
As the light faded…
A strangely shaped fruit appeared.
It looked somewhat like an apple, but with twisting patterns across its skin.
"Sugoi!! A Devil Fruit!!"
Luffy shouted, pointing at it.
His own transformation into a rubber man was due to a Devil Fruit. He recognized it immediately.
"A Devil Fruit, huh…"
Zoro sheathed his blade, expression unmoved.
He had no interest in Devil Fruits.
His dream was to surpass every swordsman alive — and he'd do it without depending on supernatural power.
"Wow! I didn't expect something so amazing to come out of that old jar!"
Usopp was ecstatic.
"Anyone want this fruit?"
Luffy waved it around.
"If not, I'm trading it for MEAT!!"
To him, meat was worth more than magical powers.
"Don't be ridiculous, idiot! Devil Fruits are expensive!"
Usopp and Zoro shouted at the same time.
"Hehe, I was just kidding! Let's hold onto it for now. No time to waste — we still have to head to Arlong Park and save Nami"
Luffy said, his face turning serious.
They looked toward the distant silhouette of Arlong Park.
Meanwhile…
The entire world had witnessed what just happened.
Devil Fruits were considered mythical treasures across the seas.
Some were worth tens of millions, others hundreds of millions.
The most coveted Devil Fruits, like the Ope Ope no Mi (Surgery Fruit), could be worth billions — that one was famously valued at 5 billion berries.
"That Straw Hat brat is so lucky! A Devil Fruit! Just like that!"
some rookie pirates grumbled in envy.
To them, Devil Fruits were like divine weapons — the fastest path to power.
[Buggy: Damn it! The Straw Hat got it right again! Hateful brat!]
Buggy was grinding his teeth.
If only he had answered first…
Then again, he already had the Bara Bara no Mi. Another Devil Fruit wasn't that useful to him.
What he really wanted… was a treasure map!
[I believe you're all looking forward to the answer. Let's return to the scene at Enies Lobby.]
The live feed returned to the Island of Justice…
The truth behind Nico Robin…
And the Straw Hats' battle at Enies Lobby…
Was about to be revealed to the world!
