Chapter 2 - Chapter 2:A Light Within Her

đź“…Years passed quietly in the Rivelle household.

The child who had once been found crying in the rain had grown into a lively, beautiful little girl named Luna Rivelle. Her hair was black as midnight, her eyes always shifting softly between brown and amber depending on the light — a detail that Mira noticed early on, but kept to herself.

Mira and Matteo had raised her with love and care. Their penthouse was always filled with warmth, laughter, and the scent of Mira's fresh-baked bread. Luna wasn't just any child — she had something... unexplainable.

At age three, she already spoke clearly and could read simple words. By four, she'd taught herself to play a melody on the piano just by listening. Animals were drawn to her. Even the stray cats on their balcony would sit silently near her feet, as if enchanted.

Matteo often joked,

> "She's a little moon goddess. Too perfect to be real."

But Mira sometimes lay awake at night, recalling that rainy night — the glow in Luna's eyes, the way her crying stopped the moment she was held. It felt like fate… but also something else.

---

One evening, when Luna was five, Mira found her sitting by the window, staring at the full moon.

> "Mama," she said softly, "when the moon is big, I feel... warm."

Mira felt a chill despite the calm night air.

> "What do you mean, baby?"

Luna tilted her head. "Like my chest is glowing inside."

Mira paused. She walked to Luna and gently touched her forehead — no fever. Just the usual calm, kind little girl she loved.

> "It's probably just excitement. You've always loved the stars."

But that night, as Luna slept, Mira saw it clearly — a faint shimmer of golden light pulsing under Luna's skin, especially around her chest and arms. It was gone within seconds, but Mira knew what she saw.

And she said nothing.

---

Despite these moments, Luna grew up as any child would. She went to school, made friends, joined music class, and always made her parents proud.

The media, too, began noticing the mysterious, lovely daughter of the Rivelles. Her photos were occasionally captured at charity events or school competitions, and though the family tried to keep a low profile, Luna's gentle beauty and quiet strength made her unforgettable.

Still, behind her sweet smile, something waited.

Something powerful.

Something unknown.

End of Chapter 2

A child found in the storm.

Raised in love, shrouded in mystery.

A quiet girl… with a light no one could explain.

The moon would rise again — and with it, her truth.
