Monty leaned back deeper into his chair as he let out a low chuckle. Being deeply satisfied with his troll post on Reddit.
Recently the creator of Dragon ball had passed away and despite being a fan of his work he still wanted to troll others for the fun of it.

Overall Monty was just being a little troll. After all someone had to stir the pot. Why not him, and the downvotes only spurred him on. The hatred of his fellow redditors was like fuel for his heart.
He waited for a response or some comment to further troll on before he heard a loud burst of thunder, and the power soon went out afterwards leaving him sitting in darkness.
"stupid storm" he remarked as he leaned forward from his chair to grab his phone on the computer desk. He tapped the power button yet the phone was still black. It didn't even display the red low power symbol.
"Didn't I charge you?" He asked setting the phone down and sighing. Even the Troll king had to take a break when the world conspired against him like this.
As he sat in the dark waiting for power to return he heard three knocks at his door. Monty sat up instantly alert, after all he didn't get guest…like ever.
He stood up and slowly approached the door he heard the knocks again and this time a familiar voice sounded one he didn't think he'd heard in real life.
"Hey it's me Goku" It sounded just like the meme audio for when someone was about to get their asses kicked, but that's usually when they're like strong. How could he be strong he didn't even go to the gym.
"The king of trolls right? You must be pretty strong" Monty heard the voice from behind him, and when he turned to face all he saw was a fist before everything went black.

When he opened his eyes up again he was deep inside a forest. His was wearing an Akatsuki robe and not the hoodie he had on earlier. When he looked underneath it was a simple black shirt and black shorts. Even his shoes were black.
"Did I get isekai'd?" He asked aloud wondering if this was that one time I got sent to another world after getting killed by Goku.
Except he didn't felt any different. He was still a little pudgy, and his hands looked exactly the same even the paper cut he got was still on his index finger.
After looking around once again this time actually looking and not just panic scanning he saw a powered off little machine nearby it looked a lot like Giru except black with a white eye instead of red.
Monty approached the machine and reach out to touch it. As soon as he hand was centimeters away inside his head he heard the voice of the machine it was strikingly similar to Siri's voice.

"Readers? Are we in a story? Also did Goku kill me? And how did he? He isn't even real" Monty asked in rapid fire succession as he hoped Miru would explain everything.

"I wasn't the only one trolling and it wasn't even that offensive I just made a lame pun and laughed at my own stupid joke. I actually like Toriyama's work" Monty said as he justified his actions after all. If he could plead his case to get back he would.

Miru stated ignoring Monty's pleas and counter-arguments.
"If I collect the dragon balls could I wish to get back or if I jump in like Oolong did could I get that wish?" Monty asked thinking about just hiding out near the base and getting and easy wish.

He perked up at that feeling like a chef getting his food critiqued with all these ups and downs.
"Tell me more"

"How does it work. Is it by Volume? If so then I'm cooked, because theirs at least three fights in volume one and I'm fodder in all those." Monty asked trying to recall the original series. He had read it awhile ago but he did remember Yamcha was introduced pretty early on, and the Oolong who wasn't really all that memorable except for being a perv.

Monty heard the announcement and realized that the Manga was starting. As he was sitting here somewhere Goku was going through his morning routine and Bulma was making her way to the Dragon Ball at his house.
"how do I establish myself as strong or at least strong enough to not be fodder when Goku will absolutely expose me." He was sure of that fact. He was one shotting everything in the beginning only later when actual competition showed up did he actually start struggling and even then he still came out on top.
Though Monty knew he couldn't waste time the longer it took him to be introduced the harder it would be to lie about his strength. Unless he somehow survived until super then he could trick Goku by just saying he was super powerful and people might believe it as long as the purple cat didn't expose him.

"I'm weak as hell. If I would've known this would happen I would've not made that post. Can you at least tell me where Goku's cabin is?" Monty asked not even sure what his plan was.

"How am I supposed to get into the story if I can't even find the main character" Monty said before sighing and shaking his head. He was pretty sure their is a road or open path he could find as long as he kept his eyes peeled.
Before he could even begin passively exploring he heard gunshots.
"They must've met. I can pop up and get some screen time…Miru are you bulletproof? I don't trust Bulma to not be trigger happy."
[I am bulletproof, and I am faster than you as well] Miru quickly dismissed his idea before he could even propose it.

When he got to the scene they had almost finished up with going picking back up with fish and Bulma about to follow.
Well he didn't think he could just follow them that'd be asking for trouble.
"Leaving so soon?" Monty said as he emerged from the forest. His face a slight smile.
"Who?" Goku said dropping the fish and pulling out his staff. Not really accustomed to people at this point. He had only seen his Grampa, this girl he just met and now this guy.
Bulma didn't speak but she instantly changed expression for some reason she looked like she was love struck. Monty figured his appearance must've been bumped up a bit.
"Nobody important, just wanted to see the start" Monty said ignoring Bulma's gaze as she definitely thought he was attractive based on the heart eyes she had.
Unfortunately he hadn't seen his own face, but he didn't think his face was anything special.
"Nobody? That's a funny name." Goku said as he slightly lowered his staff.
"I'll see you at the village Son Goku, and Bulma you really need to up your standards" Monty said before backing into the forest.

Monty let out a sigh of relief.
"I almost started shaking. I might have Goku trauma"

While they were talking and walking Miri suddenly stopped and her eye turned gold.
The world seemed to freeze as even the birds in the sky stood in place mid flap.
The gold spun around before sinking downward like water. Miru then made a ding sound before the machine popped open and a manga popped up.
The manga had a solid red background with a boy on a dragon in the sky shown on it. With the words Dragon ball written at the top of the cover.
Monty went to pick it up, and flip it open. It was a standard manga with a little bit about the aurhor and his previous works, but when he went to the table of contents it only had 1 tale listed.
He flipped through it, and it started with a a young boy with spiky black hair, a tail, and a martial arts outfit striking a pose as he internally focused. He tossed a log up into the air before kicking it into logs.
Monty recognized him as Goku. After doing that Goku talked to a dragon ball he called grampa and the scene then cut to a young girl with blue hair searching from something. She had a small radar device that showed she was closing in on what she was searching for.
It then cut once again showing Monty reaching out and Miru eye powering on before cutting back to Goku.
"What! that was included? Then do they have our talks about me being a fraud?" Monty asked quickly flipping through to see his next appearance.
[Any dialogue or actions that reveal the nature of this situation will not be included in the manga.] Miru clarified.
That calmed Monty down as he continued to read at a normal pace.
Goku went fishing.
Bulma almost runs over Goku and he flips the car.
Bulma shoots him a few times and he just rubs the bruised spots from the bullets. Before he finishes the monster/witch she lets him know she is a girl.
He hadn't seen anyone else before so he's kinda surprised and before they can filling pack up a young adult with a small smile emerged from the trees.
"Oh shit, I look good" Monty exclaimed surprised about how he definitely looked better than he previously did. Maybe his own perception of himself was just off.
He saw himself speak and it definitely was fortune teller vibes like the old magic lady with the crystal ball that comes later.
After that Bulma and Goku went back to Goku's home for food and the dragon ball which Bulma told him could grant any wish.
They talk some more. Bulma fails a charisma check.
Something something fat dinosaur.
Monty started skimming the rest noting his lack of presence in the rest of the chapter which is fair.
He closed the manga and placed it back inside of Miru.
"So what now?" Monty asked since he didn't feel any different.
