Chapter 18 - Chapter 18 Thesis's Regret

The first thing she did after calming down was to arrange everything to find this god.

However, at that time, due to Oceanus' unstable condition and the sudden birth of Aphrodite, the search for Mobius was delayed.

After Aphrodite left, she sensed Pontus' aura. To guard against Pontus' attack, she hesitated repeatedly and gave up the idea of finding Mobius again.

Due to a series of coincidences and the decisions of fate, her journey to find Mobius was delayed.

Later, she discovered that her child actually wanted to make Mobius his subordinate god. She wanted to stop it, but it was too late.

She decided to go with the flow, pretend not to know about it, and make Achelous a subordinate of Mobius as an atonement.

Afterward, she would let them build a good relationship, and perhaps even gain some benefits from Mobius later. After all, once Mobius acquired the divine authority of healing, she thoroughly understood his situation. This god actually had Zeus's bloodline.

According to her plan, it should have been a win-win situation, but it was ruined by a foolish teammate. What an idiot!

Tethys cursed inwardly. She never expected her lifelong reputation to be ruined in his hands.

Oceanus was not a foolish god either.

During the Titanomachy, the two of them knew how to assess the situation and gained many benefits. But why did they give birth to this one with an incompletely developed brain and an undeveloped cerebellum?

If Achelous hadn't been their child, he probably would have died somewhere on the third day after his birth.

Thinking of this, Tethys didn't know what to say for a moment.

The atmosphere on the scene remained tense.

Ares wiped away non-existent sweat and softly said, "Princess Tethys, I need to take Mobius to Olympus. Princess Tethys, please do as you wish."

After speaking, Ares dragged Mobius and rushed towards Mount Olympus.

He didn't want to stay and say anything more.

Tethys's eyes were dark and unreadable. The water ball in her hand shattered and reformed, her thoughts unknown. A hint of killing intent flashed in her eyes as she looked at Achelous beside her.

However, in the next second, she suppressed that trace of killing intent. After all, he was her and Oceanus's child.

Achelous shivered as if he had encountered a deadly crisis, looking around.

But he found no danger.

Achelous continued, "Mother, how could you let them go?"

"Didn't you say that the divine authority of healing could make us one of the most powerful gods in the world?"

"Even Zeus would beg for our help?"

"As long as one of our brothers obtains the power of healing, it will grant us the position of the next generation's heir to the water deity lineage?"

Tethys clenched her fists tightly, but Achelous continued to babble, "Isn't that Lord of Healing, Mobius, right there? That's my power!"

The veins on Tethys's forehead throbbed incessantly. The water ball in her hand was forcibly squeezed into ice, then turned into vapor and escaped.

The power of the river where Achelous was located also began to dry up. Tethys said indifferently, "This is your punishment, Achelous!"

"Don't push me!" Tethys's eyes were filled with killing intent. To her, a mere child was less important than a single finger of her husband.

If she could exchange all her children for her husband's revival, she would not hesitate to kill all the children without a divine origin.

But the problem now was that even if she killed Achelous, it would be useless.

It was impossible to change Mobius and Ares' will!

If not, then she could only keep Achelous and use him as Mobius's punching bag later. It would also be a small bargaining chip.

In this situation, she could only wait!

After all, what if she killed Mobius? Mobius could still return from the origin of healing. It was meaningless.

She feared that when she was about to strike a fatal blow, a god would come to stop her. Then she would suffer a backlash from the world, which was a situation Pontus would be very happy to see!

If she couldn't even appear clearly in the world afterward, then she and her husband would never have another chance to appear.

After all, so many gods were watching.

Pontus had always been eyeing the unification of the ocean and the acquisition of water power. Once they fell into long sleep, they might never have a chance to awaken again.

They would only fall into a long sleep like Uranus, the first generation of the King of Gods.

As for the so-called Sea God Poseidon, Tethys subconsciously ignored him. After all, in her eyes, a mere clown didn't have much power.

Even if she fell into a deep sleep, Poseidon couldn't control all the power of the ocean.

Tethys looked deeply at Mount Olympus, sighed, and with a movement of her right hand, the power of the water directly sealed Achelous and brought him back to the ocean.

On the way to Mount Olympus, Ares's heart was still pounding, "Mobius, you are still too dangerous."

"Before you reach the level of a middle-tier deity, you should stay on Mount Olympus. Don't wander around on the earth."

"Look, so many gods covet your power." Ares paused and continued, "They want to treat you as their private property, or rather, a slave of healing."

Mobius nodded. He didn't expect that the power of healing would be like moths to a flame for those severely injured gods, who desired to obtain his power.

With a severely injured water god in the ocean, he couldn't help but be cautious!

Although he wouldn't die, being imprisoned and then resurrected from death was quite tormenting.

For Mobius, he didn't want to experience such a thing, so he had to avoid such a situation.

Ares continued, "Mobius, you need to be careful not to get caught."

"If you get caught, I won't come to save you," Ares said teasingly.

Mobius was stunned for a moment, then continued, "Prince Ares, I don't believe that. After all, I am your subordinate god, and you will definitely come to save me."

Ares was stunned, then burst into laughter, saying, "That's not necessarily true. If I'm in a war, I won't have the time to look for you."

Mobius suddenly thought of something and then asked, "Prince Ares, I want to know why Oceanus fell into a deep sleep."

In the memories he had from his previous life, Oceanus seemed to have always been obscure, mostly appearing in the public eye as the husband of Tethys, the mother of waters.
