All the lightning-based spells Akeno uploaded were immediately purchased by Takumi. Points circulated through the group, eventually landing in Akeno's hands.
She didn't keep them, though. She used them to buy the cultivation manuals Zhongli had listed. Then Zhongli used his new points to buy some of the weapons Takumi had uploaded.
Clearly, Zhongli was very interested in them.
Currently, the system store only contained items uploaded by group members. So points could only circulate among them. In the future, once the group store starts offering its own items, points will have more diverse uses.
Right now, it seemed limited—but according to all the novels, group functions unlock gradually as the members grow stronger.
After purchasing the spells, Takumi instantly mastered them. He then tested whether Honkai energy could power magic.
Even with a low-tier lightning spell, the effect was impressive.
Takumi watched it unfold, intrigued. It had worked.
So, Honkai energy really was compatible with magic systems?
He recorded a short video of his test and uploaded it to the group.
Takumi:
[Video.avi] "Honkai energy really can do anything."
"@Everyone—I'll ask again. Anyone want to immigrate?"
Group members who were still exploring their new powers were shocked.
The spell's power was far beyond expectations.
Akeno was particularly surprised. She knew that spell—and it definitely wasn't supposed to be that strong.
Fujiwara Chika:
"Thanks, but my parents are alive and well. I've got friends here. I can't immigrate yet!"
Sagiri:
"Give it up, Takumi-nii. No one wants to immigrate right now!"
Akeno:
"Is Honkai energy really that powerful? That much of a boost?!"
She ignored the immigration invite and focused entirely on the energy.
Takumi:
"Maybe it's because of the chat group? Any knowledge I purchase—whether magic or talisman-based—works using Honkai energy."
"It's like the group integrated all energy systems across worlds. As long as you have energy, you can activate anything."
He explained his recent experiment.
That was why he'd asked Akeno to upload her spells in the first place.
Akeno was stunned. Honkai energy was stronger than magic? She was definitely tempted now.
Could she possibly change her energy type?
Her eyes lit up.
If she could convert her magic power into Honkai energy, that would boost her abilities drastically. Maybe even amplify every aspect of her power.
Akeno:
"Takumi-kun, do you think I could convert my magic into Honkai energy?"
She was excited.
If that was possible, her power would skyrocket.
Takumi thought for a moment.
Takumi:
"It should be doable—but only if you come to my world."
"Once you're here, I'll give you a Honkai energy seed. Then we can convert your magic into Honkai energy."
He believed it would work.
Even if her home world lacked Honkai energy, she could possibly absorb it once she activated the seed. Worst case, the chat group might intervene.
This chat group clearly wasn't ordinary.
Akeno nodded thoughtfully.
If world-hopping becomes possible, she would definitely visit Takumi's world.
The other group members started discussing it too.
Fujiwara Chika:
"Would it be safe to bring Honkai energy to another world? Isn't it basically a civilization-level virus?"
Takumi:
"You're overthinking it. If this were the original setting, maybe."
"But in this world—I am Honkai."
"Why would I destroy a civilization? The stronger the civilization, the stronger I get."
He wasn't evil. He simply wanted to grow stronger.
He was the source of Honkai in his world, after all.
Sagiri:
"Takumi-nii is a nice Honkai!"
Fujiwara Chika:
"Ah, so it's a symbiotic thing? Got it."
Right, Honkai in Takumi's world was entirely under his control.
Zhongli, who had been quietly reading the chat, grew more intrigued by Honkai energy.
According to Chika, both Teyvat and Honkai came from the same conceptual root. So maybe their world had Honkai energy too.
But using it might be dangerous.
Immigration...
Zhongli began considering it seriously.
His world was starting to show signs of danger. If things worsened, maybe he could move Liyue over entirely.
It was a potential escape route.
Of course, he wasn't sure what kind of cost would be involved in relocating a whole nation.
But Takumi's world—if it eventually becomes accessible—would likely attract countless people from countless worlds.
It would become a spectacular civilization.
And since Takumi's power grows with civilization, that only made him stronger.
Zhongli made up his mind.
Someday, he would share Teyvat's knowledge with Takumi. Alchemy, ancient lore—it could all be valuable.
Even celestial texts from the immortal clans.
Consider it an investment.
...
Meanwhile, Takumi knew none of this.
He was still chatting with Chika and Sagiri.
He was the only person in his world.
Besides browsing the chat group, he had nothing else to do.
Takumi:
"By the way, Chika-chan, Sagiri-chan—do you want to know your life story?"
They both knew the group members were all from games or anime.
So they'd understand what he meant.
The moment they saw his message, both their eyes lit up.
