He looked at Abhiveera who was busy reading some papers.
Viraaj was unsure that should he asked it or not. Everything is going well so there is no need to bring this topic back but his heart will not feel easy until he get the answer of his questions. Even if it's not important for kumar family, it's important for him and Ira.
He know Ira will not answer him with sincerity. She will try to hide the truth so that her grandfather will not worry about her. So it's better to ask Abhiveera as he will tell everything without hiding anything. Truth and trust is the strongest link of their relationship that Abhiveera will never break. Viraaj wouldn't have broken it either if it wasn't for the sake of his granddaughter's life and happiness.
Gathering his whole courage with a sweet smile, Viraaj finnally spoke "Your majesty, if you don't mind, can i ask you a question?"
Abhiveera, who was busy reading his documents, looked up at Viraaj. He placed his documents down on table and replied with a slight unsure smile "Sure. You can ask anything."
"Thank you, your majesty." Viraaj replied "I know, now Ira is your family member. You will decide what she will do, what she will tell about herself to the people of Jwalana. You will decide how to introduce her infront of your people. But....." Tension was seen of Viraaj's face. The smile on his face was slowly disappearing "But may i know how you will introduce Ira to your people, on Coronation day? It's not only Raksheet's coronation but people of Jwalana will meet Ira for the first time. Will you announce her.....Jwalana's queen or let her stay the princess for now?"
Abhiveera's smile slowly dropped and he looked away, not knowing how to answer. But he have to, not only Viraaj, he have to answer to people of Jwalana. He have to tell them who will be their next queen. But it's not good for Ira to become a queen now. She need some time to get used to the new environment as well as new people. She should take care of her health before taking care of a kingdom. The stress that comes with the responsibility might affect her health.
Abhiveera breathed heavily, his chest rose up and dropped. He forced himself to smile and answered "What do you want?"
Viraaj was silent for a moment but then replied "Let her stay princess for now."
Abhiveera nod "I think so too."
"She is not used to this environment. She never thought that she would have to leave me and live with new people. I want you to give her some time. She is recovering slowly. Her health condition is better than before. Once she is fully fit, you can announce her the queen of Jwalana....if you want."
"Of course we want." Abhiveera assured. "Raksheet had already made up his mind that Ira will be the queen of Jwalana. Don't worry your majesty, your granddaughter will surely be the queen of Jwalana. I promise."
Ira was lying on her bed, wanting to fall asleep before Raksheet comes. She don't want to face him because she know he will try to peruse her to continue their last night's activity. The way he talk and flirt with her, Ira know that she will loose control on herself and will fall in his trap and that will cause a disaster in her life.
She pulled the sheets upto her head and closed her eyes, trying to sleep fast.
When she was half asleep, Raksheet entered in chamber and closed the door. She can hear the sound of door closing and footsteps coming towards bed. She know that her husband has entered in chamber but she decided to lay still and not move.
Raksheet took off his robe and hung it on hanger. He then went towards bed and sat down. He moved towards Ira and leaned near her ear.
With a smile, he whispered "I know you are awake. Don't pretend to be asleep."
Shiver ran down in her body. She quickly opened her eyes and bited her lower lip in nervousness, finding an excuse to avoid her husband.
But before she can think of something or move, she felt a hand arround her waist. Raksheet pulled her closer and took off the sheet from her face.
Ira turned her head to look at her husband and smiled awkwardly.
"What were you trying to do princess? Trying to escape from your husband? Huh?" He asked, caressing her cheeks gently.
Ira quickly shook her head "N-No! i am not trying to escape."
Raksheet chuckled, knowing his wife is obviously lying "Don't lie. I know you were pretending to sleep. I know you well enough to know when you lie and when you tell the truth."
Ira turned around and sat up, pulling down the sheets. "I am not lying! Why can't you trust me?!" She complained while trying to look angry so that Raksheet would get scared and move away.
But instead of moving away or getting scared, he replied calmly.
"Ok, you are not lying. I am sorry." He apologized even though it was not his fault because he don't want to start an argument and spoil his romantic mood.
Ira looked away while pouting angrily.
'Why he is so good?! Why is he apologizing? I am feeling guilty. Please Raksheet forgive me. I don't want to hurt your feelings but i have to keep my distance from you. Please, don't force me.' She thought. The angry look on her face slowly changed into sorrow.
Raksheet held her chin and made her look at him.
"I said, i am sorry. I do believe you. May be i misunderstood." He held both his ears to seek forgiveness from his wife "I am sorry."
Ira quickly held his hand, preventing him from apologizing again. She shook her head slowly "You don't have to apologise. I am the one who overreacted. I am sorry." She held her ears.
Raksheet held Ira's hand and kissed it. "My princess don't have to apologise. It's ok. "
He then gently rubbed Ira's hand on his cheek and looked in her eyes "But if you still want to apologise, why don't you fulfill my one wish?"
Ira gulped, knowing what wish her husband would ask her to fulfill. She quickly pulled her hands back and acted dumb as if she don't know anything.
"W-What wish?"
"You know very well. Don't act innocent. I have already seen your innocence last night." Raksheet smirked, remembering how his wife was lulled in his embrace last night and kissed him back passionately.
Ira's face turned red as she remembered last night when she loosed control on herself and kissed Raksheet.
"W-What are you talking? Don't talk nonsense! Let me sleep." She quickly laid down, back facing him. She covered her face with sheets, not to expose her blushing red cheeks to him.
Raksheet laid down next to her and pulled down the sheets from her face.
"Don't be shy. I am your husband. Does anyone feel shy infront of their husband?"
"I am not shy!" She replied and turned to face him "I am sleepy. Let me sleep, please." She lied. She know Raksheet will not force her if she is uncomfortable or tired. Her health and comfort is his first priority.
"Sleepy? So early?" He asked surprised.
Ira nod while faking a yawn. She half closed her eyes to look sleepy. "Look, i can't even keep my eyes open. Please let me sleep."
She was yawning again and again so Raksheet had to trust her and let her sleep.
"Ok, sleep. Did you take your medicine?"
She nod.
He patted her head. "Good night."
"You are not upset, are you?" She asked to confirm that she didn't hurt his feelings again. But she already did.
He smiled softly and shook his head. "No, i am not upset. You should sleep now."
He said that he is not upset but in reality he was unhappy. Finally the distance between them was decreasing but again Ira started moving away from him.
"Ok." She replied. She was about to pull the sheet up but then stopped. "Raksheet...."
"Hm?" He replied as he rested his head on pillow.
"Can you hug me?" Even if she can't fullfill his wish, at least she can hug him to make him happy.
He looked at her surprised. He was silent for a moment and then asked.
"Do you want me to hug you?"
Ira nod and opened her arms to welcome him. "If you don't mind, would you hug me?"
How can he leave a chance to cuddle with his wife? He smiled brightly and quickly went into her embrace.
"I would love to hug you my princess."
Ira giggled to see Raksheet looking so happy. It's too easy to please him. Only one hug is enough to lit up his mood.
"Why you have to go so early?! Can't you stay for one more day?! Please!" Ira asked, holding her grandfather's both hand to stop him from leaving.
