Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: The System That Spoke in Silence

The scent of burnt wood and salt still lingered in the air, even as the dawn broke gently over the ruined rooftops of Loguetown. Light bathed the broken town in a golden hue, almost peaceful—if not for the bodies scattered in the streets, the smoke rising like forgotten prayers, and the silence left in the wake of death.

Kurogane Kazuha stood atop a slanted rooftop, overlooking what he had wrought.

Below, marines whispered nervously, civilians avoided his gaze, and scavengers quietly dragged corpses into alleys.

His blade, freshly cleaned, was strapped to his back once more—still unnamed.

"System Notification: User has fulfilled Judgment Protocol 001."

"System Sync: 10%."

"New Feature Unlocked – System Interface: Sentient Mode [Level 1]."

"Do you wish to activate System Communication Mode?"

He hesitated.

Then: "Yes."

For a moment, there was silence—then a voice echoed in his mind. But it wasn't robotic this time. It was… calm. Human. Male. Mid-30s, perhaps. Tired, but confident. The kind of voice you trusted in war.

"Yo."

Kazuha blinked. "...What?"

"Don't freak out. I'm your system's manifested consciousness. You can call me… Tōsen. Or whatever. I don't really care."

Kazuha stared into the rising sun, utterly deadpan. "You picked that name on purpose, didn't you?"

"What can I say? Bleach fan, obviously."

The system, Tōsen laughed, not maniacally, but like someone who understood irony and enjoyed it a bit too much. Kazuha didn't answer, just folded his arms as he looked over the ruined town again.

"So. You're a college student from Earth. Thrown into the One Piece world. No faction, no allies. Just power locked away in a system you barely understand."

"Is this supposed to make me feel better?"

"No. It's supposed to make you realize how fast you need to grow."

A pause. Then the voice dropped its tone.

"You saw the girl yesterday. Her little brother, too. There are hundreds more like them. And if you think yesterday's massacre was bad, wait until you meet what's coming next."

Kazuha's eyes narrowed. "I know Luffy's name is tied to this. The system said he's the cause of world collapse. Explain."

"He's not the Luffy you know. Not anymore. His brother Ace died years ago at Marineford—just like in the anime. But instead of moving forward… Luffy snapped."

"He disappeared for three years. When he returned, he wasn't wearing the Straw Hat."

"He was wearing Ace's necklace. And he came back with fire in his veins and death in his eyes."

Flashback (System Feed – Visual Stream):

A sea of warships burns.

Luffy, older—harder, leaner—his smile gone. Eyes cold.

He punches a Vice Admiral through an entire battleship without saying a word.

He calls himself "The Last Will of D."

He doesn't want the One Piece.

He wants the head of the World Government.

And anyone who stands in his way.

Back on the rooftop, Kazuha remained still.

"…So he's not saving the world anymore."

"No. Now he's trying to tear it down. And the scary part? He has the strength to do it."

"That's why you're here. You're the counterweight. You are the Judgment Blade."

Kazuha didn't react right away. Then, softly: "Can I stop him?"

"Not right now. Not even close. You're barely synced with me. But every arc, every battle, every decision—it'll awaken pieces of you. Powers from Bleach, Naruto, Jujutsu Kaisen, and One Piece itself."

"Each major judgment you pass, you'll unlock something. And when the time comes… maybe you'll be able to stop him."

"Or maybe, you'll have to kill him."

Later That Day – Abandoned Church, Loguetown

Kazuha rested his blade across his lap. Meditation wasn't something he practiced before—not seriously—but with his mind screaming, his body aching, and his soul restless, it was all he could do to stop from collapsing.

The church was silent, untouched by the fire. Light filtered in through shattered stained glass. In front of him lay a map, scorched and patched in places.

"System Sync: 12%."

"Skill Evolution Ready: Zangetsu – Shikai Progression Tier Available."

"Condition: First Emotional Trigger Required."

"What kind of emotional trigger?"

"It has to be real. Not faked. Something that tears your mind open. Guilt, grief, rage, hope—anything. But it has to be raw."

Kazuha exhaled.

"So I can't force it. Fine."

Three Hours Later – Loguetown Port

The girl from yesterday stood at the harbor, holding a small cloth bundle—ashes of her parents. Her little brother clung to her leg, silent.

"Wait!" she called, as Kazuha walked past her.

He turned.

"Where are you going?" she asked, her voice shaking.

"To the next island."

"Will you be back?"

"No."

She lowered her gaze.

"Then… will you kill the people who made our lives hell?"

Kazuha knelt, meeting her eyes. "Yes."

She reached into her pocket and handed him something. A blue ribbon. Tattered, burned.

"This was my mother's. She said… a good man wears the colors of the people he protects."

Kazuha took it, slowly. His hands trembled.

"I'm not a good man," he whispered.

She smiled. "You saved me. That's good enough."

Something broke in him.

Not loudly. Not with tears.

Just quietly.

Like glass beneath footsteps.

"System Sync: 15%."

"Zangetsu – Shikai Unlock: Authorized."

"First Ability Unlocked: Getsuga Tenshō [Base Form]"

"Technique Highlight: Getsuga Tenshō – Condenses spiritual and physical energy into an explosive wave of crescent force. Usable through standard katana. Evolves with emotional strength."

Final Scene – Open Waters

A small boat cut through calm waters.

Kazuha sat at the helm, the wind whispering through his hair. The blue ribbon was tied to the hilt of his katana, fluttering like a promise.

The system spoke again, softer now.

"You still want to go back?"

"No," he replied, eyes ahead. "I want to see how far this path goes."

"You know what's coming, right?"

"Luffy. Marines. Pirates. Celestial Dragons. Monsters. All of them."

"And?"

Kazuha smiled. Just slightly.

"I'll judge them all."
