Night fell.
But not peacefully.
The sky didn't dim—it cracked.
A thin black line tore across the stars.Invisible to most. But not to Raien.
He stood on the rooftop.Head tilted.Eyes fixed on the night.
Both eyes open.
One saw darkness.The other—
Saw a rip.
"It's opening," he whispered.
The countdown was real. And it was getting close.
Inside the Hokage Tower.Silence.
Tsunade stood in the war room.
Shikamaru entered.
No words exchanged.
She pointed at the sky.
"I want you to watch it."
Shikamaru raised an eyebrow.
"The sky?"
"Exactly. Something's bleeding through. From somewhere else."
He scratched his head.Muttered under breath—
"Troublesome."
Kiba was on patrol.
Akamaru growled low.
His ears twitched.
"What is it?" Kiba asked.
Akamaru didn't bark.
He just stared at the treetops.
Leaves moved. But there was no wind.
A crow flew overhead.
But it had two shadows.
Kiba's eyes narrowed.
"…That's not normal."
Elsewhere—
Hinata dreamt.
Not about her clan. Not about Naruto.
She saw him.
Raien.
Standing in fire.
Surrounded by thousands of reflections.
Each reflection had a different eye.
A thousand versions of Raien. Each twisted.
Each…wrong.
She gasped awake.
Covered in sweat.
She ran to her mirror.
Stared into her own eyes.
Nothing changed.
But inside—Something stirred.
She was being pulled.Into someone else's destiny.
Raien climbed down from the rooftop.
His feet touched the ground.
Someone was already waiting.
"Yo."
Kakashi.
Masked. Calm.Reading that orange book as usual.
But his eye?Sharp.
Raien didn't flinch.
"You've been watching me."
Kakashi turned a page.
"Since day one."
Raien tilted his head.
"I thought so."
They stood still.Just two figures under a fractured sky.
Then Kakashi closed the book.
"I don't know what you are. But I've seen eyes like yours before."
Raien smirked."But not this one."
Kakashi nodded."That's what scares me."
Suddenly—
The ground shook.
Slight.Just for a second.
But every shinobi felt it.
In the sky—The rip widened.
A sliver of white light leaked out.
Then—A sound.
Not a boom.Not a roar.
A scream.
But not human.
Something screamed through the tear in the sky.
Sasuke opened his eyes from meditation.
The candle beside him blew out.
Unseen wind.
He looked up.
Felt it in his skin.
"This isn't chakra."
Naruto, far away, eating ramen—
Paused mid-bite.
Felt something cold behind his neck.
He turned around.
No one.
But he felt it.
For the first time in years—Naruto didn't feel alone.
He felt watched.
The rip pulsed.
And then…
A black orb dropped from the sky.
Silently.
No explosion.
It landed in the middle of Training Ground 44.
The Forest of Death.
A thin mist spread from it.
Colorless.Scentless.
But deadly.
Birds fell from trees.Silence spread like poison.
The orb sat motionless.
Then a crack appeared on it.
A hand reached out.
Not flesh.Not metal.
Something in-between.
A figure emerged.
Thin.Tall.Skin pale blue.
No eyes.
Only symbols drawn on the face.
Its voice echoed.
"Where is the Eye?"
Tsunade stood in the tower.
She saw it land.
Didn't blink.
Didn't panic.
"Call everyone."
Shikamaru's eyes widened.
"Even the reserve squads?"
She nodded.
"And send a message to every Kage."
Shikamaru's voice was slow.Careful.
"Is it that bad?"
She turned to him.
Expression stone cold.
"It's worse."
Raien stood frozen.
He felt the shift in gravity.
Like the world tilted.
Then—The whisper in his head returned.
"Synchronization 43%… Consciousness alignment detected… Ability unlocked: [Eye of Extraction]."
Raien gasped.
The world around him twisted.
He blinked—
And he wasn't in Konoha anymore.
He was standing in a blank space.Everything white.
In front of him—The figure from before.
White robe.Face covered.Eyes—none.
But he spoke.
"You're not ready."
Raien stepped forward.
"I didn't ask."
The robed man raised his hand.
Symbols floated mid-air.
"You've unlocked something meant to be buried."
"I don't care."
"Then you will die."
Raien reached for his eye.
It pulsed.
And exploded outward.
Back in Konoha—
Raien's body collapsed.
Blood leaked from his nose.Eye glowing.
Kakashi caught him.
"Damn it, kid…"
He looked up.
The sky wasn't broken anymore.
It was bleeding.
Stars began vanishing.
One by one.
The Eye wasn't broken anymore.
It was awake.
And it was looking back.
