Southwest of Heaven Dou Empire, Fasinuo Province.
Outskirts of Soul Saint Village.
"It's not good to just stay in the 21st century."
Why send me here if you don't send me to the era of the dragon king? At least there are games, novels, and many forms of entertainment, even if they are not good. I will just copy the existing novels from my past life to make a living.
Now I have to do farm work every day, it is a good thing that I have a cheat to pass the time.
But right now it's not important, I have work to do.
Every New Year, the elders of neighboring villages meet to discuss trade—rice harvests, preserved meat, medicinal herbs, and river fish.
Also, as the grandson of the village chief, I have some responsibilities.
Leng Chen's 'Yes, that's me' walked beside Grandpa Jerry, his expression calm, but his eyes moving with impatience.
"Chen'er, remember to be polite with Old Jack, " Grandpa Jerry reminded him, his voice gruff but warm.
"Yes, Grandpa, I will," Leng Chen said with a nod, though his thoughts had already drifted elsewhere again.
See that leng chen like this, he didn't talk anymore since taking care of this boy and raising him as a child bride to his twin granddaughters.
He was so sensible since as far as I remember, but sometimes his head was full of weird stuff.
But no one can deny that he is intelligent far beyond his peers, and in recent years he has shown.
There is a shortage of men in many villages since they are being taken to be part of wars.
They were welcomed by Old Jack with tea and a table of roasted yams and bamboo shoots.
While the elders talked about trade, Leng Chen excused himself with a smile.
"I'm going to play in the back hills," he said casually.
Old Jack chuckled. "Just be back before sunset, little rascal. Your Grandpa will scold you if you get lost again."
But Leng Chen did not wander.
No, he had a purpose.
Which is the resting place of a soul master?
Through overgrown trails and quiet groves, Leng Chen walked.
I have been in this world for about five years now. I reincarnated with supernatural Power, I give it the name "Origin Manipulation".
It allows me to control Omnipotent energy that I get daily it is function is pretty simple: Alter Reality.
As long as I have enough Origin Power, I will be able to do many things.
So the first thing I did was to make a Data Panel that allows me to see my status and track the amount of energy I get.
In the first month of my rebirth, I find that my mother was a civilian soul master Rank 29 with MS of a Green Paech Grass, her innate soul power was two. It has a huge resemblance to Bibi Dong's appearance.
One night six years ago, she met Yu Xiaogang and forced himself on her, giving birth to me a year later. Even I do hate him because as long as my mother gets pregnant, I will be born since my soul traveled i entered her body to reincarnate.
Also, she is incapable of childbirth because of an accident in getting the first soul ring, and she knows this.
But unlike Bibi Dong she did love me and died protecting me against Blue Tyrant Clan pursuit and the damn Bibi Dong.
In the end, I ended up with Grandpa Jerry and his two granddaughters that just been born at the time.
So I swear to destroy the Blue Tyrant Clan and kill Bibi Dong, and make sure that Bibi Dong will not be a Pope if I can.
And that's why I came to this place looking for the remains of the Soul Saint that came out of this village.
Years ago, he had heard whispers—rumors of a place where the Soul Saint who came out from this village.
He was born with innate 7 soul power, something that no civilian soul master can, you may ask why he have soul power will.
Because he was not from this continent, the novel never said anything about him, but as someone who read many soul land theories, one of them said that the MS of Tang Wutong Butterfly, and the seed of the golden tree, comes from this soul master's belongings.
And using my ability, it confirmed right. So I am hear to get it even thru that the birth of Tang San is four years later.
Which is now the best time to get this stuff?
He passed a crumbled stone path, vines coiled like snakes upon broken stones.
Then, behind a thick veil of bushes and ancient roots, he saw it—a wooden house, half-sunken into the embrace of the earth, shrouded in silence.
Only a window was barely seeing, if not for my supernatural ability, I would never be found.
Making enough space to enter through the window.
Creak—
He pushed open.
A huge amount of air entered the house.
A cloud of dust burst forth, coating his face, making him cough slightly. The air was thick with stillness, as if time had forgotten this place.
Inside, it was dark. Light filtered through cracks in the ceiling, faintly illuminating the remains of what once was a home… or perhaps, a Hut.
And then he saw it.
In the center of the room sat a skeleton, clothed in tattered robes embroidered with the faded symbol of the Soul Saint.
Clutched in its bony hand was a dull silver bracelet.
Leng Chen's eyes narrowed.
His hand trembled as he reached forward and gently removed it. The bracelet was cold, but the moment it touched his skin, Leng Chen's breath caught.
A Storage Soul Guide.
From a Soul Saint.
He fell silent for a moment, then bowed low before the skeleton. "Hello, Ancestor, if I achieved godhood, the first thing I would do is bring you back to life and mother. I will not let our bloodline be taken advantage of by Tang San and his Master and family. And save my mother's soul from that demon."
Yes.
That's right, I am a descendant of this soul saint, My mother is his granddaughter with the same MS.
With care, he took the bones and turned to the garden behind the house. There, beneath the twisted trunk of an old redwood tree, he dug with his bare hands until the earth gave way. Gently, he placed the bones inside, marking the grave with an old staff he found inside.
"Rest well."
As the wind blew, leaves whispered like the sighs of spirits watching from afar.
By the time he returned, twilight painted the skies in hues of crimson and violet.
Grandpa Jerry waited outside Old Jack's home, pipe in hand.
"Took your time," he said, squinting.
Leng Chen smiled. "Got lost chasing a butterfly."
"Next time, bring back the butterfly," the old man grunted, but didn't press further.
They returned to Soul Emperor Village in silence, but in Leng Chen's heart said 'Status Show'

I have to think which a perfect MS I should awaken, but Green Peach Grass is certainly one of them.
One year later..
Grandpa Jerry had left early that morning, heading with a few of the village's elders to Nuoding City.
Once every few weeks, they traveled there to trade fresh herbs, handmade crafts, and beast bones for necessities—salt, needles, candles. This time, one of those who went with him was Uncle Lu, Cherry's father.
Cherry, a lively girl with soft pink eyes and shoulder-length brown hair, had asked to play with us.
It wasn't unusual—we often spent the afternoon running near the edge of the woods, picking Blue Silver Grass, pretending to be Soul Masters fighting against evil soul beasts.
"Chen, I'm the Phoenix Queen today!" Yaozhu shouted, holding a branch like a divine staff.
"No fair! Then I'm the Flame Dragon Lord!" I countered, waving my stick with all the pride of a six-year-old with too many dragon bloodlines.
"Then I'll be your sister general, Yulai the Wind Phoenix!" added Yulai with her usual calm grin.
"And me?" Cherry asked, blinking.
"You're... the Heavenly Archer!" I grinned. "Protecting us from afar!"
We played until sunset dyed the sky crimson, casting long shadows across the hills.
Just as we were about to return home, we saw Grandpa Jerry and the others arriving in the distance. But... something was wrong.
Grandpa's usual calm face was grim, dark, and heavy.
That night, everything changed.
Since reincarnated, I always thought it would be a smooth journey since I have a cheat, but the reality of this world always tells me the cruelty of the truth.
Grandpa sat us down with a deep sigh, his voice low and rough like gravel on steel. Cherry sat quietly, eyes wide.
"Cherry..." he began, pausing as if the words cut his tongue. "There was an... incident in the city."
Uncle Lu—her father—had been killed.
Murdered.
A Noble Soul Master had taken a fancy to Cherry's mother in the marketplace.
When she refused his invitation, he killed her husband in broad daylight. Cold. Ruthless. He then ordered his guards to take Cherry's mother away.
Rather than be defiled, she used a knife to end her own life.
Cherry sat still for a moment.
Then screamed.
That night, the village echoed with the cries of a child whose entire world had been shattered.
Leng Yaozhu and Yulai hugged her, their faces pale with fear and sympathy.
I stood there, fists clenched.
The rage in my chest boiled like magma, but I was powerless—just a boy. This is the truth of being in this world; being a soul master means you are above those who aren't.
Cherry didn't eat that night.
All have no desire to eat.
It was midnight when I heard the door to my room creak open.
The candle was low, barely flickering in the wind. I sat cross-legged on the straw mat, pretending to meditate, trying to calm the storm in my heart.
She stepped in, silent.
Her eyes were swollen, her nose red, hands were shaking.
"Chen... can I stay here... tonight?" Her voice was so small.
I nodded.
She sat beside me, then leaned her head on my shoulder and broke down.
I didn't say anything at first. I just let her cry. My own heart ached, a deep, quiet pain that reached into my soul.
"I... I hate them," she whispered. "Why are nobles allowed to kill people like that...?"
I looked at her with a seriousness far beyond my age. I wasn't from this world. I understood what power meant in a way they didn't yet. And I had made a decision long ago.
"We will avenge them," I said quietly, but firmly.
She looked up, her eyes filled with disbelief and sorrow.
"One day, we'll become gods," I continued. "And then we'll tear this world apart to bring them back. I swear."
Her lip trembled.
"You mean it?"
I nodded, " Of course, so don't worry".
'Even if I have to climb to the heavens with broken bones. Even if I have to burn every drop of Origin Power I have. I'll do it. I will change this accursed world.
She cried again, but this time into my chest, gripping the torn cloth of my shirt tightly.
Yaozhu and Yulai entered a few moments later, standing silently in the doorway. Then, wordlessly, they joined us.
In this world, strength wasn't a choice.
It was a necessity, human relationships are really weird, many travelers and novels didn't talk much about this.
When they reincarnated, it was almost like they forgot six years before MS or have a weird mindset like they are grown-ups, but I didn't feel the same way they do.
And I would become strong enough to make sure no one would cry like that again.
Not Cherry.
Not Yaozhu.
Not Yulai.
Not even me.
And everyone that are precious to me.
