Chapter 1 plus 2
The night was quite, trees bustling as the wind swept across them. A man stood beside a house with a number 003. He punch the door open and walk into it. He summon a katana with a powerful aura.
He came to kill a prodigy that will destroy the balance of the world. In this world, not only did animals and humans live on it. Some people are chosen to become vessels for the Fears, entities that resembles the fears of humans and animals. Some fears are specially graded to be primal fears , and the prodigy was a primal. The target was the fear of darkness
The assassin himself was also a fear, also known as the fear of katanas. He burst open the room where he slept. But only found no one.
" Gotcha buddy!" someone shouted behind the assassin.
Katana turn to face the man. He was a skinny man with a long beard.
"I know you are coming for him"
" I will never let you kill him.
" Where is he?" Katana said coldly.
"Oh, he is gone by n..."
But before he could finish his sentence. A katana slash the man's head off his neck. He grab the head and crush it to pieces. He slowly activate his teleporting ability and then disappears into ashes.
Chapter 2
I ran quickly as I could as my stepfather had told me. I don't know what had happen, I started to become nervous. What if something bad happen to dad. I ignore the idea and ran towards a small alleyway. It was dark only a lamp stood on the ceiling. I could see a pair of glowing eyes staring at me, owls.
Dad said that something is coming for me and told me to run. I had packed up some snacks, water and coke in my bag. I was confuse about why someone would try to come for me when I was just only 12 years old.
Suddenly, a dark barrier started covering the alleyway and it turn super dark. I shiver at the sight.
" Kael Draven, your father had been killed."
" Who are you?" I shouted.
An image started to appear in the darkness. A man slaugthering my stepfather.
" THIS CAN'T BE TRUE," I shouted in despair.
" I offer you a power to kill the man that killed your father."
" Do you accept."
I clench my fist in hatred. I swore to kill the man. My eyes became bright red as the entity sense the hatred flowing through me as it transfer the power into me.
