Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: Wedding Night, Letters from Garp and Shanks!

Tushan and Makino being together was a great thing for both of them and for Windmill Village.

After all, having someone as powerful as Tushan watching over them added another layer of protection for the village!

On that day.

Tushan and Makino chatted happily in the tavern, talking for an entire night.

By the next day, they directly announced their marriage.

Just as suddenly as Tushan had appeared, two days later, they were wed!

Naturally, the village chief was very enthusiastic about this and personally gathered people to prepare for the wedding.

He insisted it must be grand and splendid.

After all, with such a golden son-in-law coming to the village, how could they not show off a little?

During those two days, Tushan and Makino traveled together, enjoying the scenery and getting to know each other better.

Tushan had no negative impressions of Makino.

In private, Makino was just as gentle and kind.

Her maturity was merely a facade; in their interactions, Makino often behaved like a little girl, even physically.

And after two days, Makino learned more about Tushan.

She knew that Tushan was undoubtedly an extraordinary strongman!

Moreover, Tushan's actions were eccentric, and his nature was aloof, except when he was with her, where he always had a disdainful attitude towards others.

But this did not give Makino a bad impression of him.

Because Makino understood well that Tushan's rebellious aura wasn't an act.

He had absolute strength!

The strength to stand at the peak and look down upon the world!

Of course, if there was something not so good...

It was mainly during those intimate moments.

The slight gentleness Tushan showed only to her disappeared.

He was like a hungry wolf pouncing on a lamb waiting to be slaughtered, extremely fierce!

And he never seemed to tire...

In just two days, Makino, the little lamb, almost couldn't take it anymore...

If only she knew Tushan had been holding back for ten years, she might have been mentally prepared.

Although the first experience wasn't very pleasant and was rather painful, their feelings for each other continued to grow.

...

Two days passed quickly.

Tushan and Makino officially became husband and wife.

At the wedding, the village chief excitedly approached, speaking earnestly to Tushan like a father.

"Makino is one of the most well-behaved children in our village."

"So now that she's in your hands, I hope you'll treat her well in the future!"

"If I ever find out she's been wronged..."

As he spoke, Tushan's eyes changed slightly, staring at the village chief, waiting for him to continue.

Seeing this, the village chief quickly changed his tone: "Then she must not be well-behaved enough, send her back to the village, and we'll discipline her well!"

Seeing the village chief's expression, Tushan couldn't help but smile.

He patted the village chief's shoulder and said, "Hehe, don't worry, Makino will never be mistreated with me."

"Moreover, since Windmill Village is Makino's hometown, I can't let everyone down either!"

"The wedding was rushed, and I didn't prepare any betrothal gifts..."

Tushan suddenly frowned, pondering something, and then his eyes lit up.

"How about this, you don't have to be the village chief anymore."

"This is the territory of the Goa Kingdom, right? Tomorrow I'll go talk to the king, and from now on, the capital will be in Windmill Village, and you'll be the king."

"Uh, this..."

Hearing such words, the village chief didn't know if Tushan was joking or what.

Even with the strength to defeat a few Sea Kings, it wasn't possible to meddle in the affairs of a great kingdom just like that!

Makino, on the other hand, was already used to Tushan's way of speaking.

Such matters were just trivial tasks in Tushan's eyes.

However, she still stepped forward, holding Tushan's hand, and smiled: "Oh, don't joke with the village chief."

"We all love Windmill Village, and since it's almost isolated from the Goa Kingdom, we're quite comfortable now and don't want any ties with the kingdom."

Looking at Makino in her wedding dress, her beautiful face, Tushan smiled softly: "I see. Then let's forget it."

"Next time, I'll catch a few Sea Kings as a betrothal gift."

"Hehe, hehe..."

The village chief chuckled awkwardly, exchanged a few more words, and quickly left.

The wedding proceeded smoothly.

Tushan and Makino officially became a loving couple.

On the wedding night.

Tushan and Makino sat leisurely in their room.

Makino smiled as she read through the blessings from friends.

Tushan sat silently, lost in thought.

"Hey, Tushan, even Mr. Garp sent a letter!"

Makino suddenly picked up a letter in her hand, speaking with some excitement.

[Monkey D. Garp: I heard about Makino's wedding, and I'm very happy for you. Congratulations on your marriage, wahahaha! I just didn't expect it to be so sudden. I wonder which brat managed to steal our village flower away. I'll have to meet him next time! Hahaha!]

"Mr. Garp is really an old rascal~"

Reading the letter's contents, a sweet smile spread across Makino's face.

She glanced back at Tushan, only to see him still deep in thought, not paying attention to her.

Makino pouted, then turned back to continue reading the letters.

"Shanks also sent a letter?"

Looking at another envelope, Makino murmured softly.

Opening the letter, the content was quite brief.

[Shanks: Makino, congratulations on your wedding! The journey is long, and I can't come in person, please forgive me.]

Seeing the brief letter, Makino simply smiled lightly, not thinking much of it, and placed it aside.

She continued to go through the new letters.

...

After more than an hour.

Makino stretched, then got up from the table and lay back on the bed.

Looking at Tushan, who was still deep in thought, Makino gently placed her hand on his chest.

"What are you thinking about?"

Hearing her voice, Tushan smiled and instinctively pulled her into his arms.

"I'm thinking about what to do next."

"Hmm... have you decided?"

Makino asked softly.

She had known for a long time that Tushan would never be someone who would easily stop moving forward.

Someone with his unparalleled abilities, who would be willing to live an ordinary life?

She was just worried that as Tushan moved forward, he would leave her further and further behind...

"Almost."

Tushan said softly.

Before Makino could ask, Tushan suddenly turned and wrapped her in his arms, speaking softly to the warm beauty in his embrace: "I want to build an empire of my own!"

"There, everyone I love can live happily and without worry!"

Hearing the grand ambition of 'building an empire,' Makino didn't find it unrealistic.

After a few seconds of silence, she asked softly: "There... do I count as someone you love?"

"Hehe, of course. You'll be the first to enter!"

"That's good then..."

Makino said contentedly.

Feeling the face buried in his chest, unseen but radiating joy, Tushan's heart fluttered.

"Hey! Hey... Tushan!"

"What?"

"Ugh~ aren't you done yet!!"

"What are you saying, this is my wedding night, you know~"

"..."

A night of passion, the newlyweds were both immersed in their tender world.
