"Sir, I just received news that the girl was taken away buy some men with the permission of her mother." The blonde reported.
"Do you know who those men are?"
"They work at a slave establishment."
"Ok." The man responded. "Find a way to keep an eye on her."
The blonde nodded and left the study of his boss' mansion.
"What now?" Another man who had been sitting quietly in the room, asked.
"We wait." The CEO responded, going back to his work.

Oakley readjusted herself so she could comfortably listen to what the woman was saying.
"Weren't you selected?" She asked.
"I was, and someone did buy me. I lived in his mansion for three years, and when I thought it was the perfect time, I tried to escape." The woman sighed. "I was caught, tortured, and brought back here. I faced months of painful punishment, getting so much scars to the point where I could not recognize myself anymore."
It was horrible. I honestly thought I was going to die in the process. I was never selected for the auction after that incident, so I know I will die in here."
"I'm sorry to hear that. It shouldn't have happened."
"There's no need for sorrys. What's done is done."
"I wish you would get a second chance so you can get out of here."
"It's already too late for me, but you were just brought here a few minutes ago. I hope you don't make the same mistake that I did, and hopefully whoever buys you will treat you well."
"But I'll be a slave. As far as I know, there is no such thing as a slave who was well taken care of by their owners." Oakley shook her head. "My case won't be any different."
"Don't say say that. You never know what could happen."
"But it's the truth."
The woman said nothing else. What could she say? The girl was not wrong, and she didn't want to get her hopes up for nothing.
It would do her good to expect and prepare for the worst, as the life of a slave was extremely difficult.
She would know. She had been there before.
